Twins 12 - Three weeks

Francisco stopped his steps in front of his papa's office. He was just about to step in, but stopped when a rowdy voice was heard.

Frans peered through the slightly open door. He saw Aphrodite who was on the floor with Antonio standing nearby.

What did you do to make Aphrodite like that? he said in his heart. Frans clenched his hands, he could not see Antonio treating the woman he loved in such treatment.

Frans wanted to go in there and help Aphrodite, but she held back. Frans knew very well how the man who became his father was.

Inside, Antonio crouched down in front of Aphrodite. He looked coldly at her who was crying and begged that she would be granted relief to pay the debt his family had.

"Actually I'm sick of giving you a chance, but I hate it more if you stay here and bother me. I know, you're not leaving even if I kick you out, are you?"

Aphrodite stopped her crying, her eyes clashing with Antonio's.

"I'll give you one last chance. I'll give you three weeks to pay it all off." Antonio gave a little pause to his sentence.

Aphrodite flashed a faint smile on her face. He was happy because Antonio finally wanted to give him one more chance.

"But don't be happy just yet. Because you're gonna stay out of your house!"

"But, uncle said…"

"I'm just giving you time. Not guaranteeing your home back. So you just have to pay off the rest, how?"

"I don't want to. No renegotiation, you'll stay out of your house and you get time to raise money for three weeks. If you refuse, it means you still have to get out of the house and you have to pay it off right now. Or else you'll know the consequences." Antonio stared fixedly at Aphrodite, he grinned. His brain was already at a phase where his psychopathic side appeared.

Aphrodite was silent for a moment, thinking about the choice she would make.

Whether I accept the offer or not, I still have to get out. That means he really wants me to pay off all the debts I have, he thought.

I'd better accept, because at least I get a little time to collect money, inwardly.

"All right, I accept. I'm gonna get out of the house and make some money to pay off the rest as soon as possible." The final.

"A good choice. Then I'll give you three weeks. Remember that! Three weeks, no more and no less! And if in three weeks you can't pay off the rest, then you'll know the consequences." Antonio moved from his place. He turned to leave Aphrodite, before stepping, Antonio said, "now you can go."

Antonio sauntered away from Aphrodite. The woman slowly woke up with a slight limp. Aphrodite held onto her still-painful stomach, and began to move her legs towards the exit.

He stepped on gontai. His attenuation suddenly shifted when he almost hit Frans who had been standing in front of the entrance.

"Frans.." Aphrodite looked at him.

"You okay?" Frans.

"I'm fine."
