THE WOMAN ON MY WEDDING DAY

THE WOMAN ON MY WEDDING DAY
CHAPTER 43. Heartache

At the Ivory Family home, that morning Asha carried Zyan to bring him down to be with all the people who were inside the house. Unlike the usual, this morning was so bright as the heart of Asha.

"Sir, may I be the one who's carrying Zyanya?" Bi Irah cheered on her young mistress cheerfully.

"Mak Asha ate first, everyone was waiting to come down to eat." Add Bi Irah while taking Zyan from the deck of Asha.

"Of course, Bi. Please carry Zyan, yes while I eat. He just woke up from his sleep. A little fussy." Sahut Asha with a sweet smile.

"What cooking is today, bik?" Asha asked with a stale base, her cheeks blushing, she looked very happy.

Bik Irah answered some of the family's favorite menu cooked for breakfast, of course not too noticed by Asha.

Shortly after, they reached the dinner table. Ivory, her husband is already there. They continued to talk about Zyan, the mother did not stop persuading her son to accept Zyan as a lure for them.

While Gisel of course became the defender of his older brother, he continued to babble with an indistinct bent face, of course Gisel never liked Laras because it was for him the son of Laras was the same as the snake woman who entered the household of the older brother.

"Sorry, am I old? Zyan was thirsty so I had to give him milk first. Waking up from his sleep almost overnight starved him." Asha immediately took the place next to the husband.

"It's okay, you have to practice being a mother. If you are ready then your uterus will soon contain a baby. So old people say." Daniah smiled as she looked towards Bi Irah who was holding her adopted granddaughter while smiling broadly. He was very happy to see Zyan who could not stay in Bik Irah's sling.

The baby's plump body looks squirming, occasionally his voice babbling indistinctly.

"He slept well all night?" His eyes moved to Asha, greeted by the nod of the son-in-law. He looked satisfied with the smile of the in-laws.

At least this morning the in-laws did not show an annoyed face to him.

"What about you, Ivory?" ask Daniah to Ivory who continues to eat. His gaze probed at his daughter who looked indifferent.

"What's wrong with me?" Ivory bribed a spoon of rice into his mouth, he did not wait for Asha to eat because his wife was too busy taking care of baby Zyan who was a little fussy after waking up and bathing.

"You sleepin' well?"

"Of course, what's bothering me?" Ivory answered.

"Asha said Zyan was a little fussy." My mother did not like it.

"What's my business? Asha takes care of it well, really." Ivory looks less like the sentence coming out of his mother's mouth.

"You should help Asha take care of Zyan."

"Jeez, Ma..." Ivory interrupted in annoyance.

"Ma, stop..." Asha's face was clear and uneasy with the suddenly tense situation.

"Can you guys just let me calm down? Every time the same question is asked. I no longer have a taste for food." he continued with a look that suddenly turned sour.

Asha held her husband's arm. He shook his head small.

"Do not like that, appreciate the food that Bi Irah has made for us. Keep sitting, Mom." Ivory jerked Asha's hand and sat back down after the husband showed symptoms of standing up and leaving his desk.

Ivory flung his ass in annoyance at the chair, he sat back down with a sour face.

"You're gonna be stubborn like this go on, Ivory?" Her mother looks upset.

Ivory did not look into the eyes of the mother. Daniah has grunted annoyed with Ivory's childish attitude in his opinion. Fortunately, his papa was not at the dinner table, otherwise Ivory had to endure his frustration even more because of the emotions that were stirring but had to choose to be calm. Without his papa he is more free to let out his emotions.

"As far as you. Mama could've kicked you out of here if you kept this up." Suddenly it triggers Ivory to stare in disbelief at what just came out of Daniah's mouth. Asha could not comment. The strength of the Daniah in this family is strong. He will not be able to assuage the different anger between the two.

"I have a home now, too, ma. It's okay if mom wants to kick me out. Me and Asha will soon be on foot." Courageously Ivory. Gisel who had finished his meal, hurriedly lifted his feet from the increasingly tense dining table and scanned it. If his mother started a fight, Gisel knew it wasn't going to be over quickly. Instead of her being sworn to the mother, Gisel chose to run away from the room.

Gisel's head feels like it's about to break hearing that.

"Mama didn't say you could go with Asha. Of course Asha should be here to take care of Zyan. You're the one who's gone, mama's no problem than having to fuss every day with you." The mother with a blushing face.

That absurd sentence made Ivory feel wrathful.

"Gosh, mama! Asha is my wife! He must come with me." The sound of Ivory hardened. He could no longer hold back his anger.

"That Asha is my daughter-in-law, a daughter-in-law should also listen to her in-laws." Daniah's voice is no less loud.

"Is mom crazy?" Ivory really can not stand the attitude of his mother.

"Just keep going, I'll make sure you'll regret it." Ivory right away from the dining table, he left his plate that had not been finished. Then climb into the room with a red face.

"Mama, I beg you.don't fight again with the Ivory mas." Pinta Asha with a face.

"That kid is really outrageous now!" Umpat Daniah with a look no less angry with Ivory.

"He dared to defy me, as if he was born of stone." Add it with annoyance.

"Mama can't say such a thing. Please Mama don't push Mas Gading too much, I'm sure Mas-"

"This won't happen if you get pregnant fast! Are you really barren, huh!" Sergeh Daniah even vent his anger on the son-in-law. Returning the pregnancy made Asha silent a thousand languages.

"If you get pregnant soon of course I will not force Ivory to accept the Mayang child. You think it's good to be someone's gossip about a daughter-in-law who hasn't been pregnant?" Now point Daniah at Asha who becomes confused himself.

Her father-in-law directed anger at her after receiving Ivory's unpleasant attitude.

"Mama..." Asha felt her eyes hot, the mother said as if calling her tears down.

"What???" Daniah's eyes bulged, not accepting that his daughter-in-law was about to cry.

"You're the one who made this fight happen, Asha. At least if you can't give me a grandchild right away, persuade your stubborn husband to accept Zyan. You don't think you're tired of yelling at Ivory?"

Asha was stunned, the mother's words for this time to her father were so heart-wrenching.

"I'm sorry, Ma" said Asha softly then without touching the empty plate in front of her she stood up, holding back her tears that would come out.

"Can't you be a dutiful daughter-in-law?" The next question was completely breaking down Asha's defense, she turned around while covering her face, running after Ivory upwards. In their room.

Asha must swallow the reality bitterly. He also wants to feel the privilege of a woman by being able to conceive and give birth to children. Of course every wife will want that, but what our will can affect the will of the Almighty.

"Mas!"

The door was locked from the inside, Ivory really did not open the door for her, maybe her husband was very angry.

"Mas, open the door..." Call Asha half crying.

Asha stood for nearly ten minutes, the door of the room locked from the inside. He decided to leave Ivory alone. There was nothing more he could talk about. The end is just an unfinished debate. But he could not move from the door, his heart was so broken. Word by word that was thrown by his father-in-law as if ringing continuously in his ears.

"Rubble! Damnit damnit! The unfilial son-in-law!"

His tears just came down, he felt so sick, why so many trials in his marriage, even God did not give him a chance to smile longer.

"Why should I receive this kind of treatment?" the weakness in the heart.

"What is my fault and my sin? why do I have to live like this?"
