THE WOMAN ON MY WEDDING DAY

THE WOMAN ON MY WEDDING DAY
CHAPTER 31. I'LL TAKE CARE OF HER

Now, the situation at the Ivory family home is chaotic. His mother insisted that the ivory accept Zyan and take care of him like a child himself while Ivory really did not accept the decision of the mother to make Zyan as her own child. He could not accept it, especially after the extraordinary lies Laras almost made himself not married to the woman he loved.

“Laras is a bad woman, she is full of deceit!” Ivory cursed with annoyance.

"What's wrong with Mama? Why did he suddenly seem so insane like this!"

Ivory decided to go into the room. He was unable to see the baby in his arms. Ivory never stopped thinking about what really happened with Laras who gave his son to his mother.

“He thinks this house what daycare?” Thought Ivory.  Asha's face passed by, then she remembered her mother saying that she thought her wife was barren.

"Argh! Asha can't know this! I'm afraid she'll be weak to see that baby! Asha can't tell if Laras has given the baby to her. God, this barrel why do I always make trouble in my life? The snake lady must be planning something!"

Geck! Geck! Geck!

"Yes?" sahut Gading while opening the door of his room. Gisel stood up while pointing down.

"Sir Asha is coming." He said with his eyebrows looking up, a little anxious with his brother's expression.

“Asha coming? Who told him to come here?” I asked Gading nervously.

“Mama who called him earlier,”

“Mama?”

“Ya.”

“Jeez this mama. What the hell is wrong with him? She said Asha didn't have to come here, she just wanted to talk to me. Why is he inviting Asha to come?”

The ivory quickly came out. He would not allow Asha to be wrong or incited by her Mama's painful words. Moreover, Daniah has named his wife barren. Ivory knows, the rough mouth of his mother could have hurt his wife's feelings.

Daniah greeted Asha with a sweet smile. He also took Zyan in his trunk. Asha looked at the baby who was in her in-laws' arms. He frowned not understanding.

“What did you call me to follow Mas Gading here?” He asked, but his eyes could not be separated from the baby in his mother-in-law's arms.

"Whose child is this, Ma?" The question was in an impetuous streak, without waiting for her mother-in-law's answer to her previous question. Asha felt familiar with the peaceful face of the baby. He seemed to see the Zyan he felt was not because of how Laras did not live with them anymore.

"You don't know him? Uh, I didn't think you'd be so quick to forget.” Daniah chuckled while stroking Zyan's head.

“Dia...” Asha looks hesitant to guess. His eyes turned to look at his mother-in-law with the baby in the sling alternately.

“Yes, he's my Zyan, he's really becoming my grandson now." Mama Gading laughed happily.

"What!" Asha opened her mouth wide, she could not believe what she heard. Before long Gisel and Ivory came from upstairs.

“Dik...” Ivory tried to speak to explain, he knew Asha must have been surprised and confused by what was going on.

"Mas, is it true what Mama said?" Asha smothered her mouth in disbelief. After a long time of watching the baby, he finally realized that it was Zyan. Her parents-in-law were not joking.

"Yes, he's a baby, Zyan." Ivory said with a cold tone and looked at the mother did not like.

"Mama brought the baby back. I don't know for what," Ivory touched Asha's shoulder. She still did not understand what her husband said.

"Let Mama answer your questions, my daughter-in-law." Daniah approached and gave Zyan to Asha who had to carry him. This difficult situation made Asha feel something was wrong, with the confusion of the disabling baby given by her mother-in-law.

"What is this, Ma? Where is the mother of this child? The barrel? Where's Laras? She's back here?”Asha looked around the room looking for Laras and she saw no sign of Laras being there.

Daniah sighed while looking at Gading and Asha alternately. Gisel returned to his room after being coded by his mother, not liking the youngest child to be in the middle of a debate that Ivory might start again.

"Mama asked permission from your father. He allowed this baby to become a member of our new family, none other than my granddaughter." Daniah stroked the surface of baby Zyan's delicate skin. Her eyes twinkled so happily while doing so as if for so long she craved the presence of the baby.

"And you are Asha." Daniah looked at Asha expectantly. "Will be a Mama for Zyan." Asha immediately turned to Ivory who would argue back because he still did not accept.

"meaning Mama? How barrel?" Asha teary. His heart hurt for whatever reason, though, although his little heart pityed Zyan from the beginning but a wife's heart was still hurt when it received a child who was not his flesh blood under the request of his own mother-in-law not because of Asha's true desire. Ivory really could not bear the sight of the fog that lingered in Asha's eyes.

"Enough, Ma. Don't be like this. Be patient, we don't need a baby of anyone to be your grandson, we'll give you a grandchild soon." Ivory Shoots, trying to cheer up Asha's heart a little.

“Propa? Till when? It's been almost two years, you know?”  Daniah glanced at the cynical Ivory.

"You want to continue like this? Waiting on but there is never any reason you will have a baby with Asha.”

“Mama!!” Ivory interjected as he glanced at Asha, clearly visible a tinge of red on his wife's face.

“At least Mama is trying to get Asha pregnant through Zyan. She can be a lure for you to get your baby faster, Mama can't stand to be asked by people why my daughter-in-law is not pregnant, too," clearly Daniah while insinuating Asha who remains voluntary holding Zyan.

"Ma!"

"Mas, don't raise your voice" Asha scolded Gading to take his breath in, knowing that his wife was saying with trembling as her heart was certainly scratched by her mother's words. Unfortunately, Asha's heart was so soft. Even to say he was heartbroken, his wife could never do it.

"Stay still, Ma. I can't take this. If you wanted mom to take care of him, me and Asha wouldn't-"

"I'll take care of Zyan, Ma." Asha cut off the word Ivory which made her husband flabbergasted in disbelief.
