"Because I'm the one who allowed their marriage, I just want to say, whatever Ivory mas thinks is best for her, that's what she's got to do. Including divorcing Laras tonight." Asha's normally soft voice sounded cold and different.
"I will accept whatever I have to accept, in my mother's blessing of course. Because he's a parent I respect in this house besides my father." Laras said, his tone was so low like a resigned person but at the end of the sentence it was very felt he was trying to take the heart of Daniah and Pramudia sir.
"Asha, haven't you been so close to Laras all this time?" Ms. Daniah asked half insinuatingly.
"I have been kind all along, there is nothing I regret because as a woman and first wife I have done my duty. I never wanted to corner Laras, but all the decisions I have now left to my husband, as my priest. Because he knows what's best for us after this." Sahut Asha slowly but sharply.
Ivory held onto Asha's shoulder, smiling faintly at his wife, calming Asha who looked very different.
"May I speak to you Four-eye-large?" Ivory suddenly looked at Laras so mysteriously.
Baras was stunned, never once Ivory spoke to him let alone specifically like this. Between nervous and happy, he returned Ivory's gaze.
"Give your son to Asha for a moment, I just want to talk to you Laras, just the two of you." Ivory no matter the look of his mother who looked unhappy, papa Gading did not budge, he knew the character of Ivory which if it became serious is difficult to refute.
"Why do you have to speak four eyes? You want to threaten Laras?" Lick Daniah's mom with suspicious pias.
"Mama, I was still her husband before I dropped the talaq on her, so there's no ban on me talking to her alone." Ivory Sahut, sounds cynical.
His head turned to Asha, as if making sure his wife did not mind his request.
Asha spoke nothing but those eyes sent a signal of a million meanings, it seemed like she was feeling the limits of her own feelings.
"Follow me, to my workroom." Ivory walked up the stairs, without looking back.
Laras for a moment just stared at Ivory's back, hesitantly then turned to Asha, the woman opposite him was still staring at the departure of her husband.
The face could not hide his anxiety, but it only lasted no more than half a minute because after that Asha again could control himself, looking calm and unpretentious.
Asha did not move from where she sat staring back at Laras, but a smile was seen on her lips, her hands stretched out as if to signal that Zyan should be given to her.
"Go, it looks like Ivory mas really wants to talk to you both." Saying Asha with her regular voice.
Some time Laras hesitated, then moved from his seat, seen once he was very reluctant to take off the still asleep baby on Asha.
"I'll take care of him..." Asha hugged Zyan, her face twinkling at the tiny baby.
The barrel climbs the stairs to the second floor where the Ivory workspace is located. With a trembling hand he opened the door of the room, a room he had lived in for so long he had never once dared to enter.
Ivory stood his back against the door facing his own work table his hands clutched together, behind his back.
The barrel closed the door slowly, the sound of his footsteps barely heard.
"Wheel..." The voice was so soft, stopping all the movements of Laras who had just turned around.
"Why are you doing all this?" Ivory turned his body, his face expressionless.
"Me...do what?" The question came out in a stammering tone of voice.
"Why did you come into my life?" The tusks approached until they were only a step away, the eyes not blinking.
Barrel bit his lips, never did he feel this cold heat.
they were so close, so close, even Laras could hear the sound of Ivory breathing.
The barrel swallowed its own saliva, Ivory in a light brown shirt almost yellow it looks so charming in the cold look.
"I.i.m..."
"You ruined my life." Barrel answered nervously.
"I ruined your life?" Ivory stared at Laras so coldly.
"I'm the victim here! I suffer more than everyone! You fucked me cruelly, I carried your child in agony, I was ignored and I was treated unfairly!" Suddenly Laras growled at Ivory, his eyes gleaming boldly.
"Victim? How can you consider yourself a victim?"
"Dear Ivory Master, I don't need to expose it many times, you think I want to be like this? I shouldn't be stranded inside this house, swallowing your hatred all the time as if this sin was just me controlling it and only I had to endure it."
Seeing that Ivory just looked at him without saying much, Laras got bolder, he tried to corner Ivory to feel sinful to him.
"It is you who must endure it Laras..." Ivory speech sounded so flat, completely unaffected by the emotions that Laras showed before him.
"You are a man with no heart."
"If I don't have a heart then what do you call it?" Ivory's index finger was outstretched in front of his nose, looking trembling.
"Stop all this cipher, Laras. Stop everyone. Before I change my mind to you." Suata Ivory is so piercing.
"Theatricality? what charade???" Laras bought his eyes, this was the first time in his life to challenge Ivory's face.
"You know why I've been cruel to you all this time? Because I know my feelings never lie to me. I'm just being unlucky, stuck in all this cipher, unfortunately I can never prove it when you come like a rape victim in front of my future wife, on my wedding day. But, for God's sake, I'm never sure if we've both had intercourse." Ivory Eyes reddened, jaws clenched.
Laras gaped, looking at the glittering eyes showing the anger he had been harboring all this time.
"What did you say? you're accusing me of lying?"
"You're not only lying but you're also mentally ill!" Ivory took out a brown envelope from his shirt pocket and thrust it roughly into the front of Laras' nose.
"What's this?" Barrel took it with bulging eyes.
Ivory did not reply, he opened the envelope of the letter, took a piece of paper folded neatly inside.
The paper was in dikaya and placed in front of Laras' nose, which immediately glared with a body trembling like someone had just seen a ghost.
