The White Heart Jasmine

The White Heart Jasmine
Chapter 99 - Bondan's Cry

"Yeah, we're starting again..." Hasan gave the command to the children to return to their respective positions.

It had been an hour of exercise so they were given a 15-minute break. Now all the children to their own part. For Christmas they make a small music concert. For the new year they raise the story of the struggle of children who want to have a whole family packed in a musical drama. The story was Lidya's idea.

Elvan and Melati also seemed busy organizing and directing the children. Elvan in the music section with Hasan, Melati with the vocals. There's Tiffany helping out at the dance.

About an hour later the training went well. Today they focus on songs and music. The dialogue is still delayed until everyone has memorized the song.

"OK. today enough, yes. can rest... hungry can eat." Hasan ended the training.

The children cleaned up the equipment before leaving room for them to practice. Then they headed to the side lobby to grab a snack, a drink, and a meal.

While engrossed in chatting with the children, Lidya approaches Elvan and Melati.

"Someone wants to see Bondan" said Lidya. He pointed to the front door, where there was a woman about 35 years old. Sweet with a rather cute body and a little skinny. Wearing a brown t-shirt and black pants, a black jacket without being covered. He had a cloth bag on his shoulder.

Elvan and Melati stared at each other. From the woman's face and eyes, Elvan knew who the woman at the door was.

"Call Bondan, Mel. I took him to the front room, just" said Elvan. Melati.

With Lidya, Elvan meets the woman. Melati called Bondan.

"I... Ita... I'm Bondan's mother," he said.

"I'm Elvan." Elvan extended ita's hand. It was timidly Ita received Elvan's hand. They shake.

"Please sit down" said Elvan. They sit in a chair in the living room which is at once the office of Rumah Garuda.

"I'm sorry I just dared to come today" Ita said. He seems to be acting out afraid of being wrong. "I saw Bondan on TV that day. I. I was very surprised.he was very handsome and great.. I did not expect him to want me to go home. but needed to gather the courage to come..."

Ita's voice was trembling slightly. "I know my biggest mistake was leaving Bondan. I was very afraid of dying at the hands of Mas Aaron.and he threatened to kill Bondan, if I."

Lidya who was sitting next to Ita stroked his shoulders. Don't know what to say. He just wanted to calm Ita down. He knew the hard life he had lived. And it may still be heavy to this day.

Elvan took a deep breath. He understands Ita. The situation forced him away, he was too hurt, disappointed, and scared. Going was like being Ita's best option back then.

"Mas Elvan.." call Melati. He's already coming with Bondan by his side.

Elvan, Lidya, and Ita looked towards Melati and Bondan. Bondan's unblinking eyes looked at the woman in front of him, sitting next to Lidya. Ita also didn't move to see Bondan. But her tears flowed straight away.

"Bondan.." he said slowly.

"Mother..." Bondan ran to his mother. He slid into Ita's arms. It is pushed to the back of the chair and cannot move. Bondan pressed Ita's body firmly. She was crying out loud. No matter around him.

"Mother... uhhukkk..." Bondan's crying hasn't subsided. Ita hugged her son with tears that also did not stop unraveling.

Elvan, Melati, and Lidya were crying. Noiseless, but each rubbed his wet eyes. Elvan beckoned Lidya and Melati out of the room. They let Bondan and his mother alone.

After weeping, Bondan knelt at his mother's feet. "Mother.do not go again." she said.

"Mom, you often cry when you leave. Call Mom.. why leave me the same Father." said Bondan.

Hearing that Ita's heart was getting broken. Was Aaron sad because he was gone? Was he just a place of emotional outlet and anger? Isn't it because Aaron hated him?

"Mom should see Father. You are now working, Mom. You're not evil anymore" Bondan said.

Ita keeps stroking Bondan's hair. He answered nothing. He doesn't know if he's ready to meet Aaron.

"What father is alone in the house?" ask Ita.

"Yes, I'm here. If you go home, you're not lonely anymore. He must be happy that something is done at home. Ibu masakin Father's favorite food," said Bondan.

Ita smile.

"Mr sometimes comes here if he doesn't work till night. I have only been home twice. You said I could be here if I like." Bondan rests his head on Ita's shoulder.

"Don't you hit Bondan again?" Ita hugged Bondan's body more contained now.

"No. You like to hug me now" said Bondan.

"Really?" ask Ita. Bondan.

Did Aaron really come back? Ita will not forget Aaron was once a loving and caring man. He is indeed firm and a bit hard but he can very gently show unfortunately. When Bondan was a baby Aaron was so happy. He's not awkward holding, bathing and changing his diaper. Lovely years in his family.

But all that changed when he lost his job. A job he really likes. She enjoyed her work even before she married Ita.

"Bondw..." Someone called Bondan. Bondan looked towards the door.

"Sir..." Bondan's face is shining. He stood up and hugged Aaron. But Aaron did not pay attention to Bondan. He looked at the woman sitting with Bondan. The woman he loved who he had wasted.

"Sir..." Bondan pulls Aaron into the room. Aaron came along but his tense face did not switch from Ita.

Ita immediately stood in his place. He's starting to get scared. Still imagined the days he became the months of Aaron when drunk and angry. Bondan draws Aaron close to Ita. Their distance is now only three meters.

Aaron could not say anything, just looking at Ita. His body was thin and looked tired. His face showed fear. Where was he all this time? Is his life really that hard?

"Mother.go home first..." Suddenly Ita was about to leave the room.

"Mother.." call Bondan.

"Ita.." call Aaron.

"I'm sorry..." Ita stepped again.

Bondan ran after his mother "Mom don't go again... Does she love me?" Bondan pulled Ita's hand as hard as he could. It made Ita have to stop.

"Mother.... Mom said she won't stay with me again. uuhuuukkk..." Bondan's cry broke again. He embraced Ita strongly. Ita was also crying as much.
