The White Heart Jasmine
Chapter 6 - Father's Home

At two o'clock in the afternoon, Melati and Ranita arrived at the family home Gilang Adinata. It was very hot that day. Thirsty and hungry like alternating screaming from inside the stomachs of the two beautiful girls.

"Let's go straight to the dining room, I'm already starving," Melati said.

As soon as he enters the house, he sees Jati playing a robot with her...

"Dad?" Melati. Daddy's home!

Yes, I smiled happily to see his eldest daughter. Melati immediately ran to hug her father. Tears could not be held back. But she tried not to let her tears flood.

"Hey, daddy's beautiful daughter, how's the exam?" ask dad. A bright smile still adorned my lips.

"Thankful, Dad. All smoothly. There are things that are a bit difficult but in general smooth, really," said Melati while sitting on the side of the father.

"Good day, Om Gilang." Ranita. The girl was still standing and had not entered the house.

"Yes my... I forgot to go home with you..." Melati feels silly. Too happy dad came home to forget Ranita bengong waiting at the door.

"Yong, Rani. Comein. You must be hungry. I bought your favorite food. Grilled chicken" said the father.

"My father is the best. Thank you." - Thank you." Melati hugged dad again.

"Eating a lot, Brother, I just got to add lo.." said Jati. "Sister... Look, my robot is cool, right? From dad." Teak shows her new toy.

"Yes, great. Brother ate first yes, was very hungry," said Melati. Then she took Ranita to the dining room. Both of them enjoyed the delicious food. Especially with the condition of the stomach thrashing. Wow, that feels right.

After eating, they went to their mother's room. Mom sat on the bed leaning against the head of the bed. Seeing Melati and Ranita mom smile.

"Mom must have recovered quickly, because I came home," said Melati.

"Yes dong. Mother's special medicine is coming." Mother replied to Melati's joke. Melati and Ranita chuckled.

"Rani, how are you? Long time no here," said mother to Ranita.

"Yaaa, Auntie Sekar... I should have asked the news. How about to go back, huh?" Ranita scratched her head which was not actually itchy.

"Lha, Aunt is well, really. Just lazy down. Fun is also served by children. Turns out they can lo, take care of everything themselves. But if aunty comes down later they will find an excuse to let the aunt who bothered," said the mother.

"Okay, Aunt Sekar is funny too, yeah..." Ranita ngakak. Melati also laughs with her jokes.

Melati sat down again with dad in the front room.

"Cock dad can go home? Is it two weeks away?" ask Melati.

"Dad asked permission to go home. I want to be able to take care of your mother together" said Dad. "Lumayan, I'm a week's license. Let's get you really healthy."

"Happy dad could be a little long at home." Melati smiled widely. Dad rubbed Melati's head gently. His eldest son has entered adult age apparently. Time goes by very fast. Cute and cute kid when he was a kid, he was almost in college.

"Dad so go buy HP with Damar?" ask Melati.

"Tomorrow we'll go. I made a deal," replied Dad. While dad helps Jati put up her robot toy.

"Ooo.." said Melati. He's mangosteen.

"You've applied to your university of choice, right? Just wait for news. Don't forget to pray" said the father.

"Yes, Dad. Hopefully get away with grades so you can get a pretty big scholarship. And what's the cost, Dad?" Melati looked at her father. Black sweet, dashing, with her pinched hair, still looks like a college guy. My father is over 40 years old.

"Don't worry, in time God will send blessings. The funds that Dad had were not enough. But we'll see the path of wonder always come for people who fight without giving up." Dad answered with greatness. Making Melati's heart sure what she's fighting for won't be in vain.

"You fought very hard all this time. Since I was in elementary school I know you've always been serious about your studies. The result is always satisfactory. God will take all that into account" continued Dad.

Melati. He always loved hearing mom and dad's messages. What they teach helps him to appreciate life more and more easily. He is proud to have a hardworking, loving father who often makes a surprise for his family, even if it is just a simple thing. But for Melati and her sisters it's a sign of a great father's love for them.
