Chapter 25 - Alfaro's Request
"Are you ready?" Ranita took her bag and prepared to leave.
Melati rushed out of the room. "Yes, ready," said the girl while carrying her college bag.
"Let' go" said Ranita. Both went to college. It's early in the morning, 7 o'clock in a few minutes.
It's final exam week. Yeah, first semester's gonna be over soon. Melati is very excited to face this because soon she will be home gathering with the people she cares about. Ranita is also the same, she will soon meet papa's mama, Arnita and baby handsome. This time he is going to Palembang.
Didn't feel like the exam was over either, at exactly one in the afternoon. Melati waits for Ranita in the canteen. Ten minutes waiting, Ranita came. He walks with a pretty cool guy.

Ranita approached Melati and sat down next to her.
"Who is that?" ask Melati.
"Teddy. Pretty cute, right?" Ranita smiled as she turned back the menu book, choosing the food she wanted to order.
"Yes. Cool too. People here, huh?" ask Melati again.
"His parents are from Medan. But she was born and raised here" replied Ranita.
"You pedekates?" Melati was even some kind of interrogation.
"That's it, deh. the guy's good. One of the most popular in my school. Her parents work in the ministry, so well," explained Ranita.
Ranita called the waiter and ordered food and drinks. Melati is waiting for her order.
"Do you really like it?" Melati continued her interrogation.

After lunch, they headed to the library. The end of the semester full library. Everyone is finishing college work. Fortunately, there was an empty seat for them to sit on. It is worth an hour Melati can collect materials for his paper. And he left the library first for band practice.

Practice starting. This time more focused with the arrangement so Melati more waiting for music. Two hours are done.
They sat chatting in front of the studio while enjoying a cold drink. Alex, Toni, and Alfaro sat by the studio entrance, chanting. Aji and Arthur were sitting in a chair by the window. Retha and Melati were sitting on the sofa across from them. Because the togetherness of almost a semester makes them familiar. Comfortable with his bandmates. "So Alfaro isn't fit yet." go after Retha. Melati just smiled thinly.
"Udah ah, I go first, yes." said Retha. "There is an appointment nyokap nemenin shopping to the mall." Retha also stood up and said goodbye to her friends.
The others stood up and went home. Melati and Alfaro are still left behind. Melati still wants to go back to the library because Ranita said he will wait for her to finish training and go home together.

- Mel, I'm sorry, I went first. She was shopping with friends, so I went home.

Melati did not continue her steps. He turned to Alfaro.

"Why?" ask Melati.
Alfaro. Melati had to sit down again.
"Mel, I want to be honest with you. When we went to High School, I thought we were getting close. And I have a heart like yours. And our relationship didn't continue because I had to move on." Alfaro immediately conveyed his heart intent.
"When we met in the library that day, I really couldn't believe we could meet again. And now we're a team in Red Sky. Like opening up again our chance can be together. Mel, I want us to start over again" Alfaro said.
Melati. It turns out that Rethah was right. But Alfaro just broke up with his girlfriend. Is it that easy to switch hearts?

"Mel.give me a chance to get to know you more" Alfaro said.
