Laura didn't want to come to the apartment. However, he needed a job and the cost of living in New York was very high. He could not rely on others to sustain his life. Laura had relied on herself to stay alive in the big city. He kept trying and put aside his personal problems on Gino. Whatever happens, it's just the past.
Laura opened the door of Gino's apartment carefully. He was afraid that the man appeared all of a sudden and said nonsense like yesterday. Unable to reconcile with the past let Gino be firm with his stance. Laura made peace with it.
More precisely trying to make peace.
The apartment is empty. Laura breathed a sigh of relief not needing to face Gino and refrained from cursing at the man. The calm he learned from Jason turned out to be quite useful. Not wanting to argue with his mind. Laura immediately did her job. He cleaned the entire room and mopped the floor. Throw the trash and some bottles of wine into the trash. The Gino he knows is unlikely to touch alcohol unless it's David.
Her phone rang when Laura was downstairs. He pulled out his phone and a new message from an unknown number. Laura squinted at the contents of the message.
La, I'm gonna eat gudeg. If you don't mind, I want you to cook. Your gudeg must taste good.
Laura threw the trash in place and kept her cell phone.
The gudeg?
Laura never even cooked. From the past until now how could he possibly make gudeg. Despite her regional specialty, Laura never made it. He only saw Rahma cooking the dish and Laura tasting it. Now Gino asks him to do something he never did. Upset, Laura sent a reply and returned to the apartment. He sat in the living room watching the wall clock. Gino said he would come home for lunch and asked Laura to wait for him.
Even now it's ten in the morning.
Gino must have done it on purpose to keep Laura in that apartment for longer. It seems that gudeg is just the reason for that man. Whatever it was, Laura did not feel upset at all. He was waiting for Gino to arrive.
David stood there with a smile full of mystery. Laura pushed Gino away and rubbed her lips. David saw the incident!
Not yet had the situation resolved, the sound of the bell caused his attention to be distracted. Laura got up from her seat when David opened the door and saw Lucy standing there. At that moment, Laura realized her decision to ask Lucy to pick her up was the wrong choice.
"This jerk is here too!" shouted Lucy loudly.
"Hey, I brought you home last night. And you threw up on my shirt, you're a girl who can't see the good of others. I'm your god of salvation, don't shout like I'm a criminal!" david did not want to lose.
"You must have taken advantage of me. You jerk, let me beat you up. I woke up this morning in a strange place. Turns out you did it. Goddamn give me my pride back!"
"Price of your head. You scream like crazy and cause havoc in the bar!"
"I don't need your help, asshole!"
Laura looked at the quarrel awkwardly. She does not expect Lucy to turn into a barbarian woman after meeting David. If Jason saw it maybe the man would die standing up. Laura was about to approach Lucy but Gino held her back.
"Biarin aja La. Check out the free opera show. David didn't explode like that for long. Your best friend is no ordinary person." said Gino, but Laura still heard it.
