"Why did we come here?" ask Laura.

"Let you remember the same memories of our childhood." replied Gino.

Remembering their childhood is no longer Laura's favorite. She is mature enough to understand something including about her relationship with Gino. Moreover, the house has many painful memories.

"Are you tired, No?" ask Laura to make sure.

Gino nodded. "That's kapek. The work is endless."

"It's not about work." Laura turned her head to the side venturing into saying that sentence. "But about our relationship."

"Our relationship is good La."

"If it were so No." said Laura, but differences in their way of thinking sometimes make it saturated. However, looking at Gino's emotions, the thought of it he threw away. "I want to go back to New York" he added.

"Are you tired of La?" tanya Gino was full of emphasis. The tone is made as calm as possible. However, his emotions overflowed upon hearing that remark.

"I don't want to see you depressed because of work and my desires."

"La, I can arrange a job because there's Mas Malik, but I don't want you to go back to New York before we get married. Once this tries to make peace with the past, can't you La?" tanya Gino almost lost her patience.

"I'm not ready to get married. You also understand this reason." said Laura.

"This incident was long ago La. Why are you so afraid of marriage?" Gino clenched his hands at the wheel of the car firmly. He did not want to vent his anger at this moment. "Is it because of Mario?" tanyanya.

The atmosphere between them grew increasingly tense. Laura got out of the car to clear her mind. He sat on his childhood swing with tears dripping down. Laura sobbed until her shoulders trembled violently. He forgot to bring his medicine, maybe it was left in the apartment. Now, he needed the medicine to clear his anxiety. The shadow of the past flashed in his mind. Laura grabbed her hair tightly along with a loud scream. His mental state worsened if he remembered the incident. His mood grew even more chaotic when he saw Gino standing in front of him. The man tried to hug her. However, Laura refused and pushed Gino away from her.

"Go!" shouted Laura.

"La, I'm sorry."

"Go No, just let me alone." said Laura Lirih. He has trouble controlling his emotions seeing Gino there.

It took Laura a year to recover from her past wounds. Undertook treatment at a rehabilitation facility at Lucy's request. He was considered insane by some. And only Lucy was willing to accompany him in that most difficult of circumstances. Before Laura finally meets Mario and the man takes good care of her.

But that was before.

Now Laura must fight alone to recover. He could not live a life that became his greatest fear like getting married.

Why can't Gino understand it?

Love does not always make her happy. In fact after being with Gino, the shadow of his past continues to be present. Causing two people who love each other to be hurt because of their egos. Had his request been simple and Gino had not been the heir and there was no marriage. Laura will be happier with it. But all that was just his wish.

Laura has to choose between marriage or losing it all.

The journey home took much faster as Gino did not speak at all. Even the man did not stare at Laura when he entered the house. And pass through and into the room. Gino's angry, Laura knows it. However, he could not comfort her because her emotions were unstable. Laura really needs medicine.

"Jeng, can you come here?" ask Laura over the phone.

Laura remembered Gino's words this afternoon. It seems Ajeng escorted Rahma to the airport because their relationship is still well established. Feeling uncomfortable, Laura severed that connection. He could buy the drug at the pharmacy. However, before Laura stepped towards the door, Gino restrained his arm.

"My father died."

The news was like a nightmare for Laura especially Gino who looked pale.

"Tonight my father's body was buried. La, I can't take it anymore."

Gino slumped to the floor after saying that sentence. Laura rubbed Gino's face with tears streaming down.

"No, don't scare me."

Humans are tested with various trials to become stronger and accept all forms of the test with chest roomy. Gino tried sincerely with the departure of his father, although in his heart there was still a feeling of unwillingness. Their quarrel that afternoon was the last time Gino talked to his father. If only Gino could restrain his emotions by obeying his father's wishes. Then the regret was not too great when he saw his father's body buried under there. But all of that is too late. Gino couldn't turn back the time while withdrawing his words.

Her mother's heart-wrenching cry caused Gino to be unable to hold back her tears. The first time she cried in public. This time Gino did not care about Laura's gaze even though the girl was trying to calm her down. For some reason, Gino lost his sympathy after their conversation that afternoon.

"Jeng, take mom home" Gino told Ajeng who was standing next to him. "Mother is tired of going back and forth from Singapore to Indonesia. You accompany me let Malik drive."

The mourners began to leave the cemetery. Now there's only Gino and Laura in that place. A quiet night at the funeral causes Gino to understand one thing. He couldn't force his will if it wasn't Laura's.

"You can go back to New York" Gino said.

"I understand you can't forget the same thing. And I can't fulfill my wish even though I want to. La, you don't need to marry me if you're not ready. You can live a free life in New York like you used to. And I'm staying here."

"Aren't you back in New York?" ask Laura.

Gino shook his head. "No La. David bought my car at the same apartment. I also quit my job. In the future I will work in my father's company, even though it is not my field."

"Continue our relationship?"

Gino headed for his car parked on the side of the road. He pulled Laura's hand to sit on the roof of the car. The two sat side by side staring at the stars.

"We've seen stars in different places. Even so, the star does not change and still shines in the night sky." said Gino then turned to the side. "Same as I feel to you La."

"I know No." said Laura.

"Father's request is simple, but it's difficult because I can't accept something that I don't want. Just like us, desires are different and expect to understand each other. La, someone's way of life has been determined and one of my dreams is to marry you, but my wish is not your wish. We will not be happy even though we love each other. Relationships are not just about love, but understanding and trusting each other. All this time I was too naive to think that love was enough. Life is not just about theory and feeling. La, I don't mean to hurt you, but this is the only way to make you happy. Life is the same I will not be happy because from the beginning our thinking is different. Sorry La, I can't be a good boyfriend to you."

That night, Gino only heard Laura cry. In addition to losing her father, she also had to lose Laura.
