The restaurant was very crowded that day. Laura was overwhelmed at the service of the customers and unfortunately one of the servants did not come to work. He was forced to work with the new waitress he recruited two days ago. It was obvious that the waiter had not understood the work in the restaurant even though Laura had already explained since the first day the waiter had come to work. Tired and annoyed that a customer is deliberately teasing her even blatantly asking Laura for a one-night date. One night stand relationship with a stranger is not Laura type let alone the person does not show seriousness. And just want Laura as a bed warmer.

As a result of his refusal, the customer accidentally dropped a glass on the floor and shouted a few words of insults. Said that Laura was cheap and anyone could sleep with her. He did not reply to the man's words despite wanting to throw the shards into the face of the man. The first time since Laura took over the restaurant was a customer who made a mess. He carried the broken glass back, but his feet had not yet stepped, the man first pulled it and hugged it forcibly. Laura was surprised that the glass broke out of her hand and fell on her leg. He grimaced with the pain from the wound on his leg even blood started to flow profusely, but the jerk did not also let go of his embrace.

"Deliver!" laura shouted loudly provoking the attention of all the customers in the restaurant. Some people tried to get close, but the man pointed a gun at anyone who was trying to help. Laura swore in her heart, today her fate was unlucky to meet with such perverted delinquents.

"Follow me or this bullet went through your head."

"Alright" said Laura with sweat pouring down. He had no choice considering the gun pointed right at his head. "Let go of me first."

The threat was no joke because the man took him to the car and drove it at high speed. Laura resigned if today the end of her life after all for the last few years of her life is not okay. In this world there was nothing that made him unwilling after Gino released him two years ago. Perhaps the best end is to die at the hands of a criminal.

The sound of police sirens rang out from a distance, Laura did not wish on the savior god. The end of his life just let it stop there. However, unexpectedly the car stopped and in front of it was blocked by several police cars. The streets were deliberately closed so that the criminal did not run away anywhere. Feeling the villain's attention was distracted, Laura used the opportunity to get out of the car. However, a late shot hit her body causing Laura to fall down. Amidst the pain, the gun was pointed back at his face. Laura could not dodge, she simply closed her eyes accompanied by tears flowing profusely. That fear is more than seeing the death of her parents eight years ago.

The gunshot was heard again. Laura opened her eyes and saw the criminal get shot in the head. Laura closed her mouth in surprise at the sight. He could not forget the facial expression at the last second before the person died. Her tears flowed profusely with an ice-cold body.

"Miss, are you okay?"

A suit was fitted on her body and Laura felt her body in lift. He felt nothing as his consciousness began to thin even his chest felt tight. He could not breathe when he remembered he had no history of asthma. With a weak gesture, Laura touched the end of the shirt her helper was wearing.

"I can't," Laura stopped her sentence with a disjointed breath. He could not continue his words because his chest was getting claustrophobic.

"Miss hang on, I'll take you to the hospital."

After that, Laura felt nothing. His vision blurred with increasingly weak breaths.

A noise woke Laura from her sleep. Several nurses try to stop Lucy from staying in the room. Lucy's habits have not changed despite her marriage. Jessica looked frightened in the arms of a nurse looking at the behavior of Lucy who wanted to swallow everyone there. Laura tried to get up from the bed, but her body could not be moved. He couldn't possibly be paralyzed by gunshot wounds.

"Lala!"

Lucy's tight hug caused Laura to smile small, the woman forgot one thing about the gunshot wound. A nurse attempts to release Lucy, but to no avail as Lucy expels them with a menacing look.

Laura pushed Lucy's body to let the hug slip. The wound would open if Lucy kept holding him. He turned his gaze to Jessica who was standing in fear in the corner of the room. Lucy deserves a thumbs up forgetting her flesh and blood just because of that excessive anxiety.

"Jessica, come here." said Laura softly until the little girl walked up to her. "Your mom is crazy" Laura said frankly.

"I almost died when I heard the news of the kidnapping. Lala, you're shot and almost dead if it's too late to get that bullet out of your body. Lucky you're alive, I can't lose you." Lucy was crying. "Mario also heard this news, she's on her way."

I don't know how many people are worried about his condition. Laura touches Lucy's arm to stop the woman from crying.

"I'm okay" said Laura.

"You're almost dead, don't say it's okay. I know with that fear."

Laura did not comment when she saw a man wearing a black suit standing there awkwardly.

"He's the one who took you to the hospital. The police officer who shot the criminal."

"Him?" Laura gulped her saliva hard at recalling the incident.

"Sorry to surprise you."

Laura smiled thinly. "It's okay, thanks for helping me."

"It's my duty, lady, no need to hesitate."

Laura nodded. "Thank you."

The door of the room opened violently and David stood there with a sigh.

"Laura, are you okay?!"

Laura smiled awkwardly not knowing how to deal with the situation. While Lucy doesn't stop crying as if David's question isn't a big deal. And the police officer was still there watching him.

"I'm okay" said Laura.

"The stupid Gino must have regretted hearing this news" David said.

"It has nothing to do with Gino." Laura tried to smile despite feeling uncomfortable with the discussion. "So she's married."

"Gino let Lala go, but you're still standing up for your goddamn best friend. Mario is even better than Gino, somehow you always praise that guy." Lucy snorted.

"Your handsome brother also hurt Laura!" david shouted not to accept.

"Mario did it because she lost control, but she wouldn't hurt Laura the way Gino hurt her. Mario won't be a jerk like Gino the loser!"

The fight was common for Laura. However, not for police officers who witnessed the husband and wife quarrel. Laura cleared her throat slowly to get their attention, but it was useless because Lucy and David were still arguing.

"Mr and ma'am, can you come out for a minute. I have some questions for miss Laura."

The polite speech managed to drive Lucy and David away. The couple promised to visit her after driving Jessica to Jean's house. Laura balked on the grounds that it took time to be alone. He is reluctant to see the drama of the husband and wife quarrel and the topic of conversation about Gino. Lucy agrees and drags David out of the room.

Now it's just him and the police officer there. Carefully the police officer sat on the chair next to the treatment bed.

"Miss Laura, I'm just asking you a few questions. Sorry to interrupt your break."

Laura nodded. "Please ask."
