Laura forgot one thing about Miranda. He had not heard anything from the hospital about the woman. Laura decides to visit Miranda. Arriving there, he immediately stepped foot into Miranda's treatment room. Laura runs into the doctor and asks about the woman's condition, which the doctor answers if Miranda is okay. Laura breathed a sigh of relief then walked over to Miranda who greeted her with a fluffy smile.

"Miss Laura, long time no see" said Miranda.

"I'm sorry, I'm busy taking care of a few things" Laura said honestly.

"I'm surprised you came here, but thank you for being the only person to visit me besides the doctor."

"Do you really have no relatives?" laura asked in surprise.

Miranda shakes. "I never got married and I'm the only child in my family. More precisely my mother's son because I don't know who my real father is. Miss Laura, don't ask about this. I feel so pathetic."

"Why didn't you get married?" ask Laura.

"There was once a desire to get married. However, the person I love marries someone else. I have loved her all my life and therefore I will not marry anyone else. Had I snatched it from that person, I would not have regretted it like today. Miss Laura, don't be like me holding back feelings for the one you love. If you love her, go after her until you know she doesn't want you either. You wouldn't ruin someone else's relationship if that person loved you too."

As a result of Miranda's words, the memory of Gino flashed in his mind. Laura said goodbye to the woman and left the hospital. With trembling hands, Laura pulled out her phone to contact Gino. In the next second the man's voice greeted his ear.

"Why La?"

Laura took a deep breath. "I love you No."

The connection ended and Laura could not stop her tears from dripping. She really loves Gino, but it's too late now that he's getting married to someone else.

Laura returned to her apartment with a face. He had not been able to find another apartment because of Gino's presence that day. The cards are still scattered on the floor causing the condition of his apartment to fall apart. However, his gaze actually leads to a photo of Mario on the living room table. He grabs the photo with thoughts drifting at yesterday's incident, when Gino accidentally drops the frame onto the floor.

Did Gino misunderstand the photo?

Laura suddenly understood Gino's attitude after asking about his feelings for Mario. He cursed inwardly for not understanding the meaning of the question. It's impossible for Gino to think Laura is still in a relationship with Mario. As he recalled, the man did not care much except for the question of how long he and Mario had been in a relationship. And Laura never gave an answer because she didn't think it was important. Errata, in fact he himself does not understand his feelings for Mario called love or just sympathy.

Finished throwing garbage downstairs, Laura was startled by David's presence in front of her apartment unit. The man waved his hand as soon as he saw him standing in the hallway. Laura walked up to David with wide steps.

"Why did you come?" laura asked to make sure David's arrival did not cause such chaos that night.

"I didn't have any activities after driving Gino to the airport. Laura, come with me for lunch."

Laura had not yet opened her mouth, and David dragged her to the elevator. He let go of David's hand as soon as the elevator started moving.

"Gino loves you" said David seriously.

"I love him too."

"You love her?!" david asked loudly, he shook Laura's shoulders violently. "Why didn't you say it?!"

"I've said it." Laura took David's hand off his shoulder. "But it's useless because Gino's getting married to someone else."

"I haven't asked you about the wedding either." David heaved a heavy sigh, he stared at the numbers that changed from each floor. "Gino never talked about it and I don't want to know his personal life except about you. She can't marry anyone else while you're her choice. And he gave up not because of his feelings, but because you love Mario. That night after she saw you with the man, Gino gave up on his feelings and let you go with someone else. However, I knew Gino wouldn't let go of that feeling so easily considering he loved you from childhood" David said.

"You bought a new car?" ask Laura.

"My dad melted my debit card and I wanted to spend the money" David said, driving down a slippery road.

The way rich people think is different from ordinary people like Laura. Spending money on a car is only part of its hallucinations. A part-time job with a lifetime paycheck, Laura would not be able to afford a car. Let alone the car, he does not even have a series of skincare like most women. Her bitter life, Laura was grateful to have so many people who cared.

David's words awaken Laura from the reverie. The car stopped at an old-fashioned building. He followed David into the building with many questions on his mind especially as the middle-aged couple waved at them.

"Laura, this time I have to apologize to Gino" David said.

"What do you mean?" laura asked suspiciously.

"You'll find out later" said the mysterious David and drew Laura's hand closer to the middle-aged couple.

The short message David sent caused Gino's excitement to dissipate. After Laura said love, she was already in the waiting room with her boarding pass. And the notice to enter the plane sounded loud in his ears. Gino ignored it and walked away from the airport. He took a taxi to Laura's apartment. However, the short message David sent irritated him. He remembered David's story before driving him to the airport. The story is about an arranged marriage and ends if David has a lover, but the man involves Laura. Gino will kill David when he sees him taking Laura to a family event filled with fake drama.

But there is something more important. Along with his phone rang and his mother's name appeared on the screen.

"Be careful on the road, do not forget to pray before boarding the plane. I can't wait to see you."

Gino couldn't lie to his mother, but the matter about Laura shouldn't be missed.

"Gino's still got business, another week, hopefully it's done. Ma'am, don't be disappointed if Gino doesn't come home. There is still time before Malik married Ajeng. This business is very important, sorry if you are disappointed because you suddenly told me" said Gino.

"Same susan Laura settled well. Even if you are not a match, do not be forced. I'm waiting for news of you le."

At seven in the night, Gino heard the door open. David's voice sounded loud as usual and Laura's voice was soft. He could not hide his anger any longer. Gino approached David and pushed the man against the wall. Laura was about to prevent it, but Gino first slapped a punch in David's face.

"You know, I love Laura. Why did you bring him to your family?!" gino was angry.

"No, don't hit David."

Hearing that remark, Gino let David go and threw the man on the floor. She hugs Laura tightly, afraid that one day David will snatch the girl.

"Gino, shit!" david touched his stiff face. "I brought Laura because she was Lucy's best friend. I asked Laura for help to contact the girl. Jean was there and met my parents. What kind of friend do you think I am?" david asked annoyed.

"I'm sorry about David, you hit him for no reason. Don't kidnap No." talk Laura in Gino's arms.

"I'm sorry about La sometime. Now I want you to." said Gino then gave a sharp look at David.

"You go on, I'm leaving now."

Goody. Eventually the vermin got out of the way and let Gino enjoy his time with Laura. They hugged each other until they heard their heartbeats. He smelled the scent he had missed all these years. Laura's feelings are hers and Mario can't get the girl.

"La, don't marry Mario. I don't want you to marry someone else."

"I have nothing to do with Mario."

Gino took off his embrace. "Seriously La?"

"When you want to marry. Why not go back?"

Gino almost laughed if he did not see Laura's serious expression. I don't know who said that nonsense, married to Ajeng better Gino stay single for life. He only wanted to marry Laura, no one else could replace the girl.

"What the hell are you talking about La?" gino asked amusedly, he couldn't help but smile at the annoyed Laura. "My cousin who wants to marry Ajeng, you must know Malik. People who disturbed us when we were kids. You also once berjain with him to cry. Remember La?"

"What does the invitation mean?"

"What is La?" gino was confused.

"David once told me about the invitation. There's your name in the same way Ajeng." said Laura.

"Oh that," Gino chuckled at Laura who was pouting. "No idea whose job sent the invitation even my name is the groom. Most likely, Malik is the culprit, but Ajeng is likely the main suspect. David used to borrow my phone maybe he didn't see the invitation."

"You made me misunderstand No."

"Now everything is clear, only one thing remains unclear." Gino lowered his face to the same level as Laura's. "So my wife yes." said Gino seriously.

"But,"

"I'm not gonna hit you like Mario. Don't be afraid, I'm a lawyer so I won't make you like my client's case. And now you're the only client in my life. I will focus on getting old. So, marry me La."

"I don't want to live in Jogja" said Laura Lirih.

"It doesn't matter if you want to live anywhere, only I live in your heart" Gino said, kissing Laura's lips at a glance.

"That's a big no!"

Gino laughed and hugged Laura. He won't let go of that girl like five years ago.
