A week in Queen's was like being in jail. Jean forbade him to travel. Lucy also conspires with Mario so Laura is forced to stay home with the waiter serving her. She was not a great mistress, but the servants considered her a special guest. Jean who was once in a spicy mouth turned so soft and Laura preferred the woman to insult her.
The noise caught Laura's attention. On the page Jessica cried loudly while the servants did not manage to persuade the child. Laura approached Jessica and held her.
"Auntie will take you out" Laura said.
Accompanying Jessica's personal waitress, Laura enters a cafe not far from Jean's residence. Fortunately, Jean is not home so Laura can go out without a ban.
"Your mother is crazy." Laura rubbed Jessica's cheeks that were smitten by the cake. "He left as he pleased without taking care of you."
The waiter standing behind Jessica cleared his throat reminding Laura not to speak badly behind Lucy. However, Laura was not affected and had the waiter wait in the car as it was uncomfortable traveling in the company of a waiter. The atmosphere turned relaxed after the waiter left the cafe. Jessica asked for extra cake, it looks like the boy likes sweet food. If Lucy sees Jessica spending two pieces of cake at once, she will kill him.
"Don't be afraid, your mother doesn't know." said Laura slowly, she fed Jessica so she wouldn't get overwhelmed. "As long as auntie's here, your mother can't do anything."
Hearing her words, Jessica grew more and more greedy spending the cake. Laura forbade the boy from adding another piece of cake. Sweet food is not good for health especially Jessica is still a child to spend three pieces of cake at once.
Laura carried Jessica towards the cashier, but the sound of someone beside her made her shocked.
"Russel?!"
Russell glanced at Jessica. "She's your daughter?" tanyanya.
Laura has no obligation to explain that. After paying for his order, he set foot leaving the cafe. Russell followed him from behind as if he needed an answer to that question. Laura arrives in the car and hands Jessica to the waiter. Russell did not leave in front of him.
"Go home, I can't take care of two little kids at once" Laura said.
"Hey, I'm not a kid!" Russell doesn't accept that name. "I'm an adult to chase you."
Laura refused to argue. He opened the car door and went inside. "Street." she asked the driver.
The car started moving slowly leaving the cafe, at a glance Laura could see a disappointed expression on Russell's face. Nowadays it is easy to say such words in public. Laura even became the center of attention and the waiter sitting beside her looked curious, but did not dare to ask looking at Laura's sour face.
Upon arriving at Jean's residence, several servants greeted her. Laura cradled Jessica ignoring the welcome that she thought was unimportant. Inside, Mario is hanging a painting. Laura stood beside Mario with curiosity. Painting of a woman with a cat. Laura's forehead is wrinkled, Mario is not a painting lover.
"You're home yet?" Mario takes over Jessica from Laura's sling. "Mom bought the painting" he told me.
"Jean?"
Laura smiled awkwardly in disbelief Mario spoke blatantly. Having two children changed Mario's personality without thinking.
"I'm sorry, I'm too outspoken" said Mario.
Laura nodded and smiled. "The painting was so beautiful as if the painter was pouring his feelings there. I don't know the art world, but I believe your mother chose the right person."
"This painting is just an exhibition. Sometimes a person needs a diversion so that his world is not too destroyed. After dad's death, mom's life was messed up, she used to take anti-depressant drugs exactly like you did a few years ago." Mario rubbed the back of Jessica who was asleep in his carrier. "Mom's habits haven't changed while you've been abandoning that medicine for a long time."
Laura shakes. "Not completely."
"Gino still messed you up?" Mario glanced at Laura. "All right?"
Mario likes to bring up his past when the memories of Gino are buried. However, denying would add to Mario's suspicions. To cover it up, Laura pretended to pay attention to the painting.
"Laura, it turns out you're here!"
Russell approached her with a gasp of breath as security dressed all in black tried to catch the man.
"Let him here, you guys out." Mario orders immediately the security guards disperse.
"They almost killed me, it turns out you live in a house this big" Russell said.
"You don't see my husband and my son?" laura asked annoyed while Mario watched her in silence. "I'm married, so stop bothering me."
Russell shook his head. "No way."
"That's right." Mario hugged Laura's waist from the side. "Don't expect you to take it from me, the incident in the apartment I've forgotten. If you want to live longer, leave Laura before security drives you out."
"I love Laura and I'm not going to take it off!" said Russell who was awarded a hard blow by Mario.
"I won't leave my family for an outsider like you." Laura looked at Russell sharply. "Because they mean so much to me."
The show was enough to drive away the annoying Russell.
"I'm happy if we become one family."
Mario silences Laura.
