The Side Away

The Side Away
Four eyes

Standing on the balcony at midnight accompanied by a cup of coffee is not enough to drive away the cold. Perhaps in the past, Laura was happy with Gino's presence by her side, but it was all over.

Two years ago.

Gino does not talk just fun to enjoy his coffee. Laura restrained her sleepiness after half an hour accompanying Gino standing on the balcony. For whatever reason, he himself did not need an explanation. Gino's presence is more disturbing than Lucy's arrival this afternoon.

"La, uh,"

Gino's call sounds different. Or maybe Laura didn't want to hear the man call her the way he used to.

"I don't know where to start. My mistake was huge, I don't deserve to wish you more." Gino laughed bitterly. "I feel funny to myself."

Gino is still stuck in the past even though Laura has stepped forward. Keep their memories elsewhere.

His mind was running, like his impossible life stopped at the point Gino gave up on his feelings. Take it off without hesitation and come back with an explanation. What say? Expect more? Laura would have laughed out loud had there not been anyone else in her apartment. David and Lucy are still there, probably stealing his conversation with Gino. Unfortunately Laura chose silence instead of replying to the man.

Two years did not change his personality, only his heart changed. Gino should know, Laura is not a teenage girl who is blind for love or a stupid woman with the principle of first love above all else.

His madness in loving Gino is over. The bucin period has subsided, like plants in the dry season wither and then die. Does not grow even though insisting on watering it.

"So morning," Gino held his breath for a few seconds. "I see you're the same Mario. Do you still have any relationship with him?"

Laura's patience is thinning, what right does Gino have?

"It's none of your business!"

"Yes La." Gino nodded. "I don't have the right to interfere in your life."

"I want to rest, you go home." drive Laura out.

Heartless.

"So, Gino lives downstairs in my unit?"

Laura folded her hands in front of her chest while looking at Lucy sharply. David bailed for half an hour, followed by Gino and Lucy barely escaping if Laura didn't stop him at the door.

"Quick say!" said Laura in a high tone. His patience runs out after Gino's arrival and their conversation on the balcony.

"I don't know." Lucy shook her head weakly. "David. Lala, I'm really sorry."

Then Lucy's explanation flows about Gino contacting David and asking for his whereabouts. This morning, Laura had just returned from Queen's and Mario was driving her home. He did not expect Gino to come to the apartment and even stalk him. Apparently, they live in the same apartment building. Laura was too stupid if David had given up on her match with Gino. David's weekend meetings have never been absent about Gino. Asking her feelings as if Laura was still stuck in the past. His stupidity will not be repeated again, even though Gino is chasing after him like he used to. Laura remembered the man was married, but acted as if there had never been a marriage.

It may be better to be in a relationship with a new person so that no one is interested in it.

"Lala, you're daydreaming."

Laura was tired of hearing the same sentence.

"Go home, I'm tired." Laura pushes Lucy out of her apartment. "For a while don't call me."

Blam it!

Laura closed the door loudly, she did not care about damaging the access of her apartment. Right now, he just wanted to close his eyes.
