The Side Away

The Side Away
Fetish

That night's incident was a nightmare for Laura. Not to mention Lucy's questions about her relationship and Russell and Laura's reasons for letting the man touch her. He will not explain that Russell attracted him and admitted that the night was his wish. Laura just listened to Lucy's babble while her mind floated off somewhere. The food they ordered was taken for granted. The weekly meeting was absent for work reasons and Jessica was at Jean's house while Mario sat in the opposite seat. Sipping coffee while watching Laura with a hard-to-understand expression.

"Lala, are you going to marry that man." asked Mario after putting his cup on the table.

"I'm not getting married" Laura said.

"Lala's an adult, let her make her choice. I want you back at Queen's. Her hair is almost bleached from missing you every night." Lucy said.

"I want to bring Lala" said Mario.

Laura looked at Lucy, definitely part of the woman's devious plan to have Mario with her. However, meeting Jean after her relationship and Mario ends feels uncomfortable. Mario has two children with Rahma.

"I can't." Laura refused.

"Is it because of that man?" ask Mario to make sure.

Laura shakes. "You're married, I don't want your wife to be jealous."

"His wife won't be jealous" Lucy said.

"You still don't like it?" ask Laura.

"I can't tell you why because Mario asked me to shut up. Never mind, I went to pick up Jessica. You guys just continue." Lucy grabbed her little bag. "Mario, take Lala home."

"What's the secret between you and Lucy?" laura asked after Lucy left the place.

"The secret between siblings." said Mario casually.

Laura was about to pick up a piece of cake when she heard someone say her name.

"Laura,"

Russell stood beside Mario. Sinlessly pulled up a chair and sat beside Laura with a wide smile.

"We have a strong bond" Russell said.

"I miss you."

The god of love was on Laura's side so that even married people missed her.

"You're married." Laura reminded.

"Wedding?" Mario chuckled.

"Nothing's funny" said Laura, feeling Mario was crazy.

"I made the wrong decision to let you go with Gino. Had I held your hand more tightly, not wavered at my feelings, I would not have lived a married life. Laura, I'm sorry to have let you go even now, I still love you. Assuming we were still together, spending time without the presence of others, I was the first to see you wake up in the morning. Take care of you when you are sick and kiss your lips at all times. Those memories are embedded in the memories and I can't erase them."

"I've changed, you know that."

"I know, but be willing to be a backstop whenever you need me."

"Someone once said the same sentence." Laura smiled thinly. He turned his head to the side to hide his tears that were about to fall. "But finally let me go."

"I wouldn't let you go if you didn't love him then. Laura, I wouldn't act like a loser if you loved me for even one second. As a matter of fact, I'm being stupid by constantly missing you every night. While I've never been in your memory."

"I've never forgotten you, it's just that I can't love you. Sorry, I don't love anyone right now. Miss what you said you should have saved for your wife. In the past, I once snatched you from Mika, this time I will not make the same mistake. Mario, before you say anything you better be honest with yourself. Those memories become ghosts in your head because you don't intend to forget them. You should remember, time is the best medicine to forget." said Laura let out all the complaints she had kept all this time.

Mario smiled sadly. "Even after two years, I still can't compete with Gino."

"Gino's just the past, I won't be stuck with that feeling anymore."

Right, Gino is just his past. Laura had forgotten about it since Gino took it off two years ago.
