The soft room with the scent of lavender was Laura's room. Gino doesn't know whether to blame David or praise the man for helping him capture Laura's attention. He sat on the soft bed while watching the entire room. Medium-sized wardrobes and makeup tables and cosmetic equipment owned by Laura are neatly arranged. She did not find any trash scattered on the floor, instead Laura placed the trash can in the corner of the room. In the past, Laura was not the type of girl who liked to clean the room. Sometimes when Gino comes to visit, he relents by helping the girl sweep the floor. Laura has become an independent woman and time has changed everything.
Gino threw his body on the bed, staring at the ceiling of the room with a mind drifting. The question about the lover, Laura did not answer it and avoided it on purpose. Gino was curious but could do nothing seeing Laura reluctantly discussing it.
A knock on the bedroom door resuscitates Gino from the daydream. She was surprised to see Laura enter the room carrying sheets and blankets. The girl was wearing a pale pink canal nightgown.
Gino leaned against the wall, folding both of his hands in front of his chest watching Laura who was busy changing the bed sheet. Gino could do nothing but watch Laura from where she stood. She muttered inwardly so that Laura would not approach her because the nightgown caused Gino to be unable to think clearly.
"I've changed the bed No."
Gino smiled slightly to cover up his nervousness. "Thank La, you don't have to bother anymore and the bed linen is still clean" said Gino.
"You're quipping me?" ask Laura to make sure.
"Seriously La, the bed sheet is still clean because there is your scent there," Gino closed his mouth consciously with what he said. "I mean I don't mind using your old bed sheet."
Shit, Gino's saying shit. His mouth was out of control and contracted David's habit of saying things without thinking.
"Look No."
Gino smiled stiffly as if Laura already understood his words.
"I'm in the next room if you need anything call me. I usually sleep a little night" said Laura.
"I love watching movies when it's work," Laura held back.
"What work is La?"
Laura switched the conversation by discussing a woman named Lucy. To the extent that Lucy was the topic of conversation, there was no sign of Laura being offended about her lover. Long enough the girl spoke and Gino did not realize Laura was already standing nearby. The scent of lavender flowers and the nightgown drove her crazy. Gino can't control himself if Laura stays there.
"No?"
The call with a subtle pat on his shoulder made him sober up. Gino pushed Laura out of the room.
"I'm going to bed early, good night La."
Gino locked the door of the room and sat on the floor, closing his eyes in an attempt to calm down. Laura almost made him lose control, lucky Gino could still hold him back.
