As usual, they will split up at the Rambutan Terminal. But right now, they are staring at each other. Amarendra smiled, asking the girl to leave immediately.

“When can we meet again?” asked Kani lirih and Amarendra shook his head. “Is there still any intention to meet me?” His eyes fell deep. 

“I always wait, so will next. Already there, lest I change my mind and take you away.” There is no certainty but the signal continues he can, it is easy Kani to play with his easily cracked feelings. Amarendra stepped forward then stroked the top of Kani's head, swung down to grab the girl's hair and she touched the earring in her left ear. “Mother says she wants to meet you, she keeps saying beautiful especially if she sees you directly after so long.” Amarendra smiled and pinched that adorable chin.

“My face is the same as in our photo that you gave to Mommy.”

Amarendra shook his head and stroked the girl's cheek. “Originally much prettier,” compliments and Kani blushes in embarrassment.

Kani quickly leaves before Amarendra realizes her cheeks are red. Amarendra smiled and waved. He waited for Kani to enter the angkot then after a long distance, his face clouded again.

Praise from Amarendra continued to ring in the ears of the girl, Kani was impatient for later when they met again and after a week at the Foundation, Kani got a job still in the Bekasi area. But unfortunately only lasted a month because his stomach disease continued to recur, he was discharged at night. Kani does not want to tell Amarendra anything even though Amarendra is not feeling well, not calm, continues to imagine as if he can feel the girl he loves is in distress and needs it. After two Weeks of Kani recovering, she worked still in the Bekasi area again. Long enough he stayed there and had to stop when the family was going to move out of town, he was required to come, obviously unwilling and finally Kani came home.

Kani and Amarendra met when Kani went to the foundation after two weeks of returning home. At this time Amarendra asked Kani to stay at home and not work anymore, the two argued, and Kani still menguelel and this year they often met in Bekasi because Kani always bergonta change employer.  Years later, Kani begins to lazily get involved again with the foundation until she accepts a job but not through the foundation. He was offered to replace his friend who was getting married. In Bandung and Amarendra could not prohibit again and relieved after Kani separated from the foundation plus Kani was not heard complaining or complaining. Kani works at the home of an Army man, his two employers are good and his three children are not fussy. Kani was paid to take care of the house and the three children, he was paid more than through a foundation that many pieces. Although the bad condition is that he can't meet Amarendra.  Kani feels treated like a human being in her new place of work, she is banned from working after nine o'clock except for emergencies. His room is near the fish pond, next to the bathroom, the house is spacious and Kani is afraid if everything goes especially Amarendra can not be carelessly he called.

Amarendra who knows Kani's break is always on the phone, not texting. Ribet, the guy said so. To him, hearing the girl's voice felt close to Kani. Amarendra misses him a lot but can't do anything about it. If in the foundation, he will come if he misses, but now Kani can not go out carelessly and far. It's been a year since Kani worked there. Had gone home for a while but Amarendra happened to not be able to leave, they continued to fail to meet. Amarendra thought badly that the universe was against his will

Amarendra was very sad but seeing Kani was fine already made him happy and relieved. Amarendra couldn't give him the gift he had prepared, Kani is prohibited from giving the address of the house and this year will be over and Amarendra wants to see Kani immediately during the new year holiday because Kani will get work leave but until December Amarendra suddenly fired. She is inflamed and comes to Lusi's house after finding out her brother did it.

“Ngapain you came here?” Luci was busy eating his breakfast.

“I'm looking for a hard job, brother! Why keep bothering me!” he snapped while holding the edge of the table firmly.

“Kakak already said to think about college but you mengeyel, meet the same village girl. All do not need to work, do not go to college, accompany Mother in Malang and you must want to marry Kirana. You guys have been betrothed, don't pretend to bego, deh!”

Lusi gasped as Amarendra blocked his wrist, both of them staring intently at each other. Lusi does not like, he slapped his sister twice, feeling his sister is outrageous but unconscious with his own behavior.

“Go you!!!” lusi and Amarendra's toilet passed by while clenching their hands.

“Om Maren has never been here.” The boy complained.

“Om working, now come directly carrying Isabel. Om can't be long.” Amarendra smiled but the boy hugged her tightly. Lusi stared at Baby siter her son sharply and the woman quickly took Isabel. Amarendra leaves even though Isabel continues to cry because Lusi does not want her existence.

Amarendra tidied up all his clothes, Yana and Raihan watched sadly. Amarendra hasn't even told Kani she's unemployed right now.

“Maren, don't you want to meet Kani? Meet him, maybe it'll be a cure for all your tired and sad. Kani must miss you too,” said Raihan and Amarendra stopped his hand for a moment.

“Iya, Marina. Kani even keeps terrorizing me just to know you're good or not, she sucks when you're late to tell her or ignore her,”.

“I want to go see Mommy in Malang.” Amarendra pulled the zipper of his bag. He stared at the screen of his phone. That face, the encouragement.

“You want to stay there? Didn't tell me first with Kani?” Raihan.

“Do not do so, Maren. Do you want Kani to be sad?” Yana swerves.

“I just visited, you guys want to come or want to go home?”

“You if the fare is free, Malang far.” Raihan was silent, guessing how much it would cost to take a train to the city.

“I'm with cousins, commuting, the car happens to be empty. You can come, I won't settle in Malang, I'll go back to find a job. I can't get far with Kani.” Amarendra looked down, ashamed of himself for his honesty.

“Ah don't-don't have anything to do with Kirana?” Yana sewot's.

“That's my other cousin, yes Kirana's cousin too, she won't side with that crazy girl. Want to come or what?” Amarendra looked at the two in turn. Raihan agreed to come along and Yana also wanted to.
