KALINGA'S ARRIVAL

Ms. Ismi notices Kani packing, tomorrow morning leaving, the weight of her letting go and Kani who has finished reaching for her phone on the table. He heard from Amarendra that he will also leave tomorrow for Jakarta, both of them leave a place full of memories for them tomorrow morning. What Kani knows is that Amarendra will be working in a restaurant, she does not know that Amarendra's mother has stopped working and returned to Malang. Amarendra felt that there was no need to say it because Kani had to focus on preparing mentally for the first time working and her job was not easy.

“Kani.” Ms. Ismi looked fixedly and Kani was silent. “The world out there is not as beautiful as you imagine, it is better to stay at home.”

“Silence even makes me imagine the atmosphere of school, Mom. Please let me go, will work also in his boss father.” Kani persists with her initial intention to leave quickly, complaining of fate.

“Then promise me, take care and keep your father's good name in the eyes of his boss,” said Bu Ismi slowly and Kani nodded confidently. Miss Ismi comes out and Kani breaks down her body. He turned his head as his hand was pierced by Kenanga's index finger.

“Teteh when to go home?” Kenanga kept staring.

“Not yet to leave, have you asked when Teteh came home, Nga? Sethe promise that going home will buy you what you all want, pray that Teteh may be at home there and loved by the boss father.” Kani smiles and Kenanga doesn't want it all, she just wants Kani to stay home. He shuffled and hugged Kani then Kani replied to him.

The next morning, Kani and her Father set off, those at home watching while holding back tears especially Ms. Ismi. Can his son? Ms. Ismi was unsure.

While at the Terminal, Amarendra was warming up while smoking a cigarette. He crouched down waiting in front of his Abah Shop that was still closed. Large backpack leaning on the rolling door of the store. Amarendra was seen daydreaming until the sound of a motor horn disperse his daydream. He rattled his hair that was still half wet. Occasionally staring at the clock on the wrist, at six or less fifteen minutes and finally he saw Raihan but what makes him wonder is Yana canengar-cengar cintil.

“We take another bus only, which is full to leave quickly.” Point Raihan with his tail on the empty bus leaping.

“Yan, where are you going?” Amarendra.

“Ya..work, lah!” Yana grunts does Amarendra think he's going on a picnic?

Amarendra turned his eyes to Raihan.

“He whom I mean our friend in rented later.”

“But, Yana mending you school, why work?” Amarendra is not unhappy but he believes Yana will regret it someday with her decision.

“I want to work, lazy school, no problem, really even though just graduated SMP.” Yana glared. Raihan immediately stopped the debate between the two and pulled it because the bus had stopped waiting for the three to enter. Amarendra was holding his bag and he looked up, Abah on the balcony waved and he smiled. Abah forbade Amarendra many times but he was so stubborn and had to support his mother even though Abah was loud would guarantee. Amarendra does not want any social jealousy from grandchildren, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and others. She was capable enough to support herself and her mother.

The bus drove over and Amarendra with the two just sat down. Yana continued to nudge Amarendra who was sitting in the middle. They chose an elongated seat near the rear glass of the Bus and next to the door.

“Maren.” Yana kept nudging and Amarendra hissed. “It...” Yana glanced at a girl who had been watching the three of them.

Amarendra pointed at the empty seat next to Kani and Kani shook her head, glanced at her Father at a glance then she raised her hand and Amarendra nodded in understanding. Raihan and Yana who saw the two throwing codes at each other could only be spectators and ended up choosing to sleep with their faces covered in jackets.

Kani:

I'm nervous, Maren.

Amarendra:

They will obviously accept you, you diligent son. Looks like we'll split up before the City Terminal. I will satisfy myself by looking at you now.

Kani glanced at it and Amarendra smiled, watching the girl's face as she read the message and raised her face and smiled at her.

“From any side, I can see how beautiful you are. I wanted to get closer but was afraid of the thought of the man with the head who was bothering you,” muttered in his heart and read a reply from Kani, the girl asked him to stop looking and Amarendra shook his head. Keeps doing.

An hour later, they stopped sending messages. Amarendra silently watched Kani who was asleep leaning on Mr. Muji's shoulder. Amarendra pulled out his digital camera and took a portrait of the girl. Amarendra who saw Mr. Muji woke up quickly quickly folded his hands in his stomach, closed his eyes tightly and did not let the middle-aged man glance at him. Mr. Muji did not have time to glance at the lyrics, he continued to hold his son's shoulder so as not to be nudged by the newly entered. The bus is full now. Amarendra could not see Kani because it blocked those who stood up. The sun was crawling up, Kani and Pak Muji would go down in a moment and Kani looked for a gap to see Amarendra but could not.  Finally he and Mr. Muji went down through the door where Amarendra was with his two friends. Amarendra and Kani look at each other and Kani can detect the sadness in her friend's eyes. After descending, Kani smiles and Amarendra replies.

At home, Ms. Ismi has a guest who is none other than Kalingga. It was a bit strange because the young man wanted to visit.

“Begini, Mom, permission to take Kani for a walk.” With a big, sweet smile, he said. Kenanga and Dahlia who heard also noticed.

Ms. Ismi shook her head and it made Kalingga frown.

“Kani was just dawn just left with gaffer to work.” Miss Ismi smiled, forced.

Kalingga subdued the view a few seconds, “Work, Mom? Not it...school?”

Ms. Ismi massaged her chest slowly and replied. “Kani didn't go to high school, Mas. So he wants to work, maybe afraid of Moms mate like other girls in our village who married at a young age because not school.”

Kalingga mangut-mangut, without having to ask what is the cause of Kani did not continue school he can guess. He then retreated and Bu Ismi nodded with a smile.

“Is Kani still close to the Maren, huh?” muttered Kalingga who was now sitting on his bike. “Ah is not possible, if Kani works obviously the child will also leave and they are far apart. I need to get closer to Kani.” He added stay in heart then passed away, back home.
