The Shah of First Love
PROGRAMMES

“I will collect the money, in a year it will be collected then I will go to school again, I want it, Maren. Even though I was left behind.”

“There is a C package chase program, both can be diplomas, only the school system is different. You can follow that. I support whatever you want as long as it's true,” she said and Kani fell silent, thinking hard.

“I'm sleepy,” said Kani switched the conversation.

“Don't you, I'm afraid I'll sort it out later, you don't understand that I'm so normal?” He was so proud.

“Why are you so honest, Maren?” Kani laughed out loud.

“Ya let it go, to you this.” He grinned and Kani chuckled softly. “For you also be careful when meeting other men out there, do not easily believe in them, I am with those you do not know, will not be the same.”

“The bottom line is, I can't think everyone's good and have to be vigilant, right?” reply Kani and Amarendra smiled.

“Yes, thank goodness you're a little smart now, not slow as usual.” He grimaced as Kani pinched his arm and the two were silent. Then shortly Amarendra took Kani for a walk, bought and tried the food and drinks he wanted, not to forget also buy for Purwa. Amarendra is very grateful because if Purwa is not ignorant, how can he know that Kani is in trouble now.

Kani shook her head when Amarendra offered her a meal, she was full, unable to stand it anymore and afraid of fat.

Amarendra escorts Kani but Kani refuses, they enter the alley quite far from the Foundation.

“They are all women, will be excited if you drive up the foundation.” Kani glared as Amarendra smiled knotfully, thinking of something else. “They're all old, I'm the youngest.” He connected when not asked.

Amarendra smiled, looked at his watch and he had to leave. Kani silently watched and Amarendra took off his helmet.

“I..” The sentence hangs and Kani smiles widely then tiptoes and pulls her shoulders. Amarendra retorted, hugging Kani tightly. Amarendra closed his wet eyes, he was so afraid to let Kani be here. “Please, take good care of yourself.”

“Iya, that money will I change emm...Maren.” Kani is shocked as Amarendra's embrace tightens.

“Until when continue to bring up what I give, intend to replace what I spend? I don't need that, I just want you to take good care of yourself, that's enough.” His voice was heavy and Kani smiled. Amarendra let go of her embrace and she tidied Kani's hair. His eyes were red and Kani held his hand.

Kani is afraid to see Amarendra struggling to catch up with time. Then he crossed over and walked towards the Foundation. Kani came in and everyone noticed. After arriving at the balcony, Kani immediately pulled Purwa.

“Who used a black jacket carry the motor earlier?” Purwa investigates and Kani nods, taking him to sit down, taking out the plastic contents she was carrying. “I don't see his face, but his body is the same as in the photo, cool. He loved you so much that he really came.”

Kani smiled widely silently listening to Purwa's chatter. Kani touched her forehead and felt she could still feel the warmth from Amarendra's lips. His head was shaking, he did not want to be confined in a warmth that was not certain he could have.

Later that night, Kani called Amarendra because after seeing him the man did not give any news. Kani can only hold back tears while biting the sarong she made a blanket when Amarendra replied to his message, no time to pick up the phone from him, he just came home from work at one early morning. Kani asks him to get some rest, fearing he is sick from being too tired and feeling guilty.

“I love you, Maren.” Her tears fell down her cheeks and her wet eyes kept looking at her phone screen, a photo of her with Amarendra.

On Sunday, the name Kani was called, she was already quite capable after two weeks of living in the foundation, learning many things. His employer's house in Bogor, Kani never went there, and there are officers from the Foundation who will deliver. Take the bus and Kani look up when he arrived at Baranangsiang Terminal then from there ride the angkot once. Kani who was wearing a white uniform with a blue list on her chest could only look at all the buildings she passed. The foundation officer who drove him so jutek. Kani tries to ignore the short-haired woman just like her.

Arriving at a house located in a Gang, Kani was surprised to see the house looks ordinary but after a woman with a sour face opened the door and invited in, he said, the ordinary house holds a luxury hidden in it. Spacious, majestic, there is a curved staircase on the left. He sat down and was treated to drinking water. The child she was going to foster was two years old, a beautiful daughter with curly hair.

Officers from the Foundation left and he was asked if the woman who opened the door, named Patmi, had worked for years and was trusted by the family. Kani is taken to their room, sleeping one room in the room located below, she goes down the stairs and sees a different kitchen with a nice kitchen on top.

“This is our room, we can not cook in the same kitchen with the employer also with cooking utensils. This is a Chinese family, at all times eating meat and foodstuffs that are haram for us who are Muslim. The food for us is in that little fridge, I warn you to wash your used food and do not pile the laundry in the bathroom.” His hand pointed at a plastic door and Kani nodded in understanding. Then he was invited to go up again so that he could get acquainted with the child he would foster.

There were two other young children in the house, the eldest and the second child, whom Kani took care of the third child and then she saw a woman on the second floor looking up, nursing her fourth child, and she was breastfeeding, Kani smiles kindly but the woman glares at him just like that then she catches Patmi smiling a little like a mock.

Kani feels at home there, the Chinese family and family work as sellers of Branded clothes. The female employer he saw was not as cynical as he began to understand her, and the male employer who was indeed prone to being ignorant, and there is a single man who is still the younger sister of the employer who likes to joke with Patmi, Kani always sees the dull face of Patmi blushing. But when the man approached her, Kani was scared and quickly evaded.

Kani did not expect her beauty would backfire and make Patmi envious, she to ask what her face and body were wearing, Kani answered honestly but one day she saw her beauty pouch was messy, Patmi does not believe until checking and his attitude from the beginning sucks increasingly so. Kani is not given time to eat quietly, rest well, Kani is tormented but still trying to survive, and one day when both of them have to shop while carrying the child Kani foster, Patmi accidentally left her, and the other day, though Kani said she could not cross let alone on the crowded street so that a middle-aged man was willing to guide her across.  Arriving at home, Kani got angry with the male employer because the child she foster can not be outside for too long, sure, the child immediately fever at night also red-red skin.

“DAMN PATMI!” Kani is angry and tries to be careful. He's been working a month, received his salary, a million four hundred, it's big and he's happy. Don't know if anyone's sad to be back away from him, who else if not Amarendra.

Patmi's bad attitude he complained to Eka at the Foundation, because Patmi his son (Under his auspices) like him. Kani is sure to be defended, but Eka instead asks him to remain patient and can work with Patmi. Until Kani is vilified of stealing some expensive clothes from the warehouse and Kani is fired, grateful that his salary was paid intact even though he was threatened with imprisonment but his female employer defended and Patmi was happy that a co-worker she considered a rival had managed to get out.
