DELIBERATION

That night arrived, Heri and her parents came, confused how many people gathered in the Double Pak house. Mr. Muji bowed next to Raihan and Yana as well as his mother. They've all been waiting. Had thought the event would be held at Mr. Muji's house but Mr. Ganda wanted to be at his house. Obviously for Rere to explain but the presence of Kani is also much more important until finally Kani is picked up and comes with Bu Ismi.

Heri sighed looking at Kani who was so devastated by what happened. Kani continued to embrace her mother and her mother stared intently at those who stared at her son's disgust.

After the event was opened by the homeowner, Kani glanced at Rere who came out of her room with a menor face. He was like mocking her at this tense show.

“Absolutely not, not this kid who stayed at our house that night. Heri brought a girl his own cousin, not his girlfriend. What do you mean, huh? Do you think I will allow my son to bring in girls to the house?” said Heri's father who did not accept the question smelling accusations from Mr. Ganda.

Kani was relieved to hear it, also liked because Heri's father was angry so he could fight against his will.

“But Rosi said so, Kani stayed at Heri's house,” sela Rere who was convinced and Rosi who was forced to attend by Yana just came. He firmly denied Rere's remarks.

I was wrong, I'm sorry.” Heri clasped her hands together and glanced at Rere. “I almost did inappropriate actions with Kani, Kani fought back. I like him but he doesn't like me. Rara and Rere looked at each other and all eyes were on them as well.

Everyone shook their heads and Rere held back a cry.

“Not Aa who said Kaniraras was pregnant,” said Mr. Muji was full of anger. “Aa who started talking everything out to everyone until it went wide everywhere,” he continued exasperated and if not detained may have gotten out of control hitting his own brother-in-law.

“Why do you blame my husband, yes if you have ever stayed overnight, slept together, it is impossible if it is not the case?” emphatically Bu Atik defended her already cornered husband.

Ms. Ismi suddenly pulled a pack of pads from inside her jacket and she threw them in the middle of everyone.

“Kani is coming month now. Anyone else want to say that my child is pregnant? Come who!!” snarled Bu Ismi and Kani looked at him fixedly. “You all parents, especially your relatives, may accuse indiscriminately, this is Slander, defamation. May Allah not repay the pain we have in you with more pain. My son is not wrong but that does not mean also separated from the name error.”

“What is the proof that Kani came by the moon? A Mother will do everything possible to protect her child,” replied Bu Atik and Pak Ganda pulled his shoulder to sit down and did not make their family more embarrassed.

“You are not wrong, so do not worry, those who still do not believe to be busy with the contents of their respective minds. Obviously, everything is slanderous, you are a victim. Make it a lesson,” said Yana's mother while holding Kani's hand and Kani nodded while crying.

Kani was proven not pregnant and all the accusations turned around to make the family of Pak Ganda ashamed. Everything dispersed and Mr. RT shook his head feeling ashamed of himself and apologized to Mr. Muji as well as everything.

This afternoon, Kani was relieved especially her mother because she came by the moon even though it was late, it became good news to argue everything. After all there are pregnant people who do not experience any physical changes.

Kani leaves the house with relief, she also feels happy that Heri does not complicate things as well as everything and when she gets home, Kani immediately eats, wiping her tears occasionally, she said, she was happy and all her sisters were watching.

While Mr. Muji and Ms. Ismi in the room were arguing, either debating let alone and Kani did not care. What has been proven does not make his Father want to look at him, there is a sense of relief and also useless or whether for his Father he remains wrong no matter what happened at the deliberation.

Kani feels like she'll be able to sleep well tonight. After eating he took a bath, cleaned and poured himself. His mother then came, gave him her cell phone and drinking water.

“Rest, don't think of anything weird anymore,” said Bu Ismi and Kani smiled.

Miss Ismi comes out of the room, Kani sleeps alone and she rolls around freely. Dahlia and Kenanga sleep in the living room, they fall asleep while watching television.
