As soon as the door of Frans' luxury home opened, it was quiet to welcome the man. Frans walked into the house smiling to himself, remembering the girl he had helped. This certainly makes the driver confused but the driver did not dare to ask.
Since the day of his separation from Carlynda, Frans has become increasingly accustomed to solitude. He never felt lonely at all even though he only lived in a luxurious house alone. The driver and personal assistant stayed with him. However, they did not live in the same part of the house as him because Frans provided special house wings for his employees so that no one would disturb him.
Strolling up the stairs to the main room, Frans kept thinking about the incident. The man seemed to be unable to forget the shadow of the girl from his memory. About how scared the girl was to how the girl innocently borrowed money from her driver. Ah, the girl did not even intend to use Frans in the slightest when Frans thought about it, the girl would know that Frans' vehicle is a luxury vehicle that only rich people have.
“Why am I thinking of him?” muttered Frans while taking off his tie. He shook his head. “Ah, stop. After all, he and I could never see each other again,” he said, trying to erase his memory of tonight's incident.
Meanwhile, on the other hand Kara has just arrived at a third-level building where her cafe and residence with her grandmother are located. On the first floor was where his cafe was while on the second and third floors was his home. The cafe owned by Kara is a family cafe that has sustained the lives of Kara and her grandmother all this time.
Upon entering her residence, Kara found her grandmother sitting relaxed while watching television. Lesyana, Kara's grandmother, frowned when she found her granddaughter coming in a state of chaos. Kara's hair looked very messy, her makeup had also been disheveled.
“Kara, what happened to you, honey?” ask Lesyana while standing up.
Kara approached the grandmother and landed her ass on the sofa. “I'm fine, Grandma. It seems I drank too much earlier so my stomach feels very uncomfortable and I vomit on the road,” Kara said, lying. The girl could not possibly say what happened to her grandmother because she was afraid that her grandmother would become worried and sad.
“Ya. Grandma will make soup to eliminate nausea in your stomach,” said Lesyana, not suspicious in the slightest because he knew that alcohol did make the stomach uncomfortable and Kara needed heavy food to eliminate the nausea.
“Grandmother, no need to bother,” said Kara, forbidding her grandmother to go to the kitchen. “I'll go straight to sleep, definitely tomorrow is okay.”
“Kara, Grandma was also once young. If you don't eat something tonight, tomorrow morning you will feel very bad,” Lesyana replied with an amused chuckle.
Lesyana then went to the kitchen followed by Kara behind her. Lesyana picked up some food ingredients while Kara sat in the kitchen high chair.
Kara smiled thinly. He felt bad for lying to his grandmother. While going to a nightclub with her friend, Kara did not drink at all. But, this was the only reason she could use so that her grandmother would not worry about her coming home in a state of chaos.
In less than twenty minutes, Lesyana had finished cooking. She made her family's signature potato salad, roasted sausage, and herbal tea for Kara. Smiling, she serves the three meals on the kitchen table and sits down on the side chair of Kara.
“Eat and drink while still warm,” Lesyana said. “Usually every time grandma comes home from the club, your great-grandmother often makes this for grandma.”
“Really?” kara asked as she turned her head, making Lesyana nod. “The smell is delicious. The drowsiness that I had felt immediately disappeared instantly,” as well as Kara.
Despite only being left alone because Kara's parents had died, they didn't feel lonely at all. They just work hand in hand to take care of each other.
“Grandma, go to bed. Grandma doesn't have to accompany me to eat. It's getting late,” Kara told her grandmother when she saw Lesyana yawn wide.
“Alright, Grandma go to the room first. Good night, Kara,” said Lesyana.
“Goodnight too, Grandma,” reply Kara then approached Lesyana and kissed her cheek.
After Lesyana went to her room, Kara sat back in her chair and ate the food that Lesyana had made. Despite not being drunk, Kara seemed to need the food because she was feeling very dizzy.
As he recalled what had happened to him tonight, his memory of the man who had helped him was strongest in his head.
The shadow of how the man let her get in the car and drive her until she finds a taxi makes Kara unable to forget.
Kara doesn't know who that guy is. But, he still clearly remembered how the line of the face of the foreign man who had helped him. Given how the man was confused as Kara hugged him, it seemed like the man did not have much good experience with women. I don't know, Kara doesn't know either.
That night, Kara goes to her room and sleeps while continuing to remember the events of that night that haunt her.
The next day, as usual Kata will help his grandmother to prepare all the equipment before opening the Cafe. Early in the morning, Kara and her grandmother would bake bread because bread was the main food of the Danes. After finishing baking bread and arranging it in the cafe window, Kara also prepared various types of coffee and tea that will be prepared today and then after Kara opened the Cafe.
Just now Kata opened the cafe, his friend had appeared at the door carrying Kara's bag that was left behind at the nightclub.
“Kara, where were you last night? Why did you come home without saying anything to me?” asked Melina, Kara's friend, folding her hands in front of her chest. The girl was upset because last night she was looking for Kara there and here but found nothing.
“We talked outside,” whispered Kara then pulled Melina's hand to come with her outside the cafe. Kara doesn't want her grandmother to hear their conversation later.
“Kara, what's up? Did something happen last night?” melina asked confusedly. Melina becomes worried that something bad has happened to Kara but she knows nothing about it.
