After meeting Frans that day, Kara could not stop thinking about the man. Especially when Frans was casually grabbing her waist. Kara felt safe in Frans' arms. From that day on, Kara became increasingly convinced that she was starting to like Frans.
Like girls in general, when you like someone, Kara will certainly find out about the person she likes. That night, Kara tries to find out about who Frans is through the internet.
“Looks like she does not have social media,” muttered Kara because she did not find Frans social media account even though Kara has been surfing all over the platform on the internet.
Kara tapped her chin with her index finger. Thinking about how he could find out who Frans really was and whether he already had a girlfriend. Kara certainly does not want if she becomes a woman grabbing someone else's partner.
“Hm, looks like I should just search his name on the internet. Who knows if there's any biodata about Frans. It also seems that he is not a random person,” he said again.
The girl entered Frans Nielsen's name into the search field. Kara's mouth gaped as she read the articles about Frans. Despite not having social media, there is little information on Frans. There mentioned that Frans is a young businessman who is very successful and comes from a distinguished family.
Reading this honestly made Kara feel inferior. The girl took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly.
“It looks like I have to bury my feelings deeply because a guy like him would definitely not be interested in a girl like me,” Kara said then closed her laptop in disappointment.
A few days passed. Kara begins to force herself to forget her feelings for Frans. The girl began to distract her thoughts with busyness so that she would not remember Frans.
“Hai, Kara.”
The call made Kara shocked. The girl then turned her head and found Aren already standing in front of her cafe cashier table.
“Hai,” reply Kara. “Do you want to order something?”
Aren shakes. “No. But, I need your help.”
“Help?”
“I want to propose to Clara on her birthday. I want to make some kind of surprise and I need your help to get Clara to go where I'm going to propose to Clara. Hows it? Do you want to?” ask Aren expectantly.
The day that Aren had decided on arrived. Kara has contacted Clara and asks Clara to accompany her to a party. Kara asks to make an appointment on the spot so that Clara doesn't have to bother to pick up Kara.
When he arrived at the location of the party— namely in a park that has been decorated by lights and flowers—Kara frowned when he found Clara looking sad.
“Clara, why is your face sour like this?” ask Kara.
“Two days Aren can not be contacted, Kara. I don't know what my fault is and why she ignored me,” Clara said, sighing heavily.
Kara refrained from laughing. He must try his best to keep Clara from suspecting that Kara already knows about Aren's plans.
“Have you tried asking Frans?”
Clara shakes. “No. My phone wasn't picked up by Frans. Looks like he's busy,” Clara replied.
“Hm, maybe they are in business outside the city both and are equally busy so Aren did not have time to tell you,” said Kara, trying to entertain Clara.
“Ya, just maybe,” reply Clara briefly.
“Already, don't be sad anymore. You're here to accompany me to the party, ‘ right? I don't want people to think I forced you to come here because they saw your pouting face,” Kara scolded.
Clara chuckles. “Alright, alright. Come on, we're in,” he said.
Clara and Kara enter the park. There are many twinkling lights and flowers arranged so neatly. It really creates such a romantic atmosphere.
Clara's heart stopped beating as she looked at the inscription of the rose petals that read ‘I love you, Clara. Will you marry me?’
The girl held her breath, feeling surprised by what she saw.
