One tear drop of Kara falls on the cheek along with Frans' car which disappears around the corner. The girl twisted her body, then entered into the multi-storey building where she lived. Luckily the cafe was closed so no one would see him cry.
The girl walked slowly up the stairs leading to the second floor. His heart felt so heavy when he thought about how the fate of his love. For Kara, Frans' silence was an answer. Kara knows that Frans was once married and may still have the trauma of building a new home. However, all women would want to be married by the idol of his heart, right? No exception with Kara.
“Kara, have you gone home?” lesyana who apparently did not sleep.
Kara hurriedly wiped her tears and showed her smile to Lesyana. “Grandma hasn't slept?”
“Grandmother is not sleepy.” Lesyana smiled faintly, realizing that something was wrong with her grandson. “Am I okay, Kara? Why are you crying?”
Hearing Lesyana's question, instead of stopping crying, Kara just sobbed. The girl walked over and scattered into her grandmother's arms. He hugged the old grandmother's body while spilling all the anxiety that was in his chest.
“Kara, what happened?” ask Lesyana confused.
“I asked Frans if he loved me and he said he loved me. However, when I asked her if she wanted to marry me, she did not want to answer, Nek,” Kara complained.
Lesyana smiled faintly. This is what Lesyana doubted about the relationship between Kara and Frans. Couples who have been married and divorced, must have a strong reason why they can divorce. Kara and Frans do not know each other well enough to talk about everything while Kara is expecting a serious relationship.
Lesyana stretches her arms, then rubs Kara's tears. “Already, don't cry. If Frans really loved you, he would've married you, Kara. No need to cry. Let time answer everything,” he said, advising the grandson.
Kara nodded her head, agreeing with her grandmother's words.
The next day, Kara had her day as usual. Although there was no word from Frans, he continued to try to prepare for normal because he was sure that Frans really loved him, Frans would definitely contact him.
Three days passed, Frans was more agitated in his office. In the past three days, Frans has been unable to concentrate on her work because she thinks about Kara. They haven't even communicated for three days.
Gts ... Gts ... Gts ....
“Log in,” says Frans.
The door opened, revealing Aren who had just arrived after being contacted by two friends Frans who had already arrived. They needed Aren's support because Frans wouldn't listen to them.
The four of them sat on the sofa. Frans took a deep breath before starting his story.
“Kara says if she wants to get married,” Frans replied.
Aren raised next to his eyebrows. “Then, what's the problem? If you really love Kara, yes, just marry her.”
Frans remained silent. It's not about him wanting or not wanting to. But, more about her trauma with a marriage. Twice having a broken relationship due to a curse attached to her, Frans is afraid that the curse will continue if she marries Kara later.
“The problem is Frans is afraid that the curse is still there,” said Peter who can read what Frans has in mind at this time. “Padahan .. in my opinion, you should not make the curse as a barrier to happiness.”
“This is no longer about me, Peter. But, about Kara too. I'm afraid that Kata will leave me,” Frans replied.
Just this time the man was afraid of losing a woman. In fact, he used to be able to easily forget his ex-wife as if nothing had happened between them.
“If Kara seriously loved you, she would never leave you, Frans. Trust me,” chimpanzee Sean.
Frans turned to his best friend, then said, “After marriage, Kara would want to have children. What about that thing? With the curse that ensnared me, where can I have a child with Kara?”
Aren who from just now was silent finally opened his voice. “You better tell Kara everything, including about the curse, Frans. If Kara truly loves you, then she will accept you,” Aren said.
“Are you sure?”
“Of course! You'll never know the answer if you don't try it, will you?”
