The Secret of the Billionaire's Curse

The Secret of the Billionaire's Curse
Feel Suspicious

At the Nielsen family residence, Lulla did not stop urging Clara to immediately have a baby. Lulla even gave various suggestions to propose Clara to consult with the best doctors in Copenhagen in order to get pregnant soon. The middle-aged woman even eagerly accompanied Clara to go for consultations when she was very disapproving of Clara and Aren's relationship.

While Clara who was forced to follow all orders from Lulla finally felt tired of the pressures that Lulla gave. Clara was silent at first and tried to stay nice to Lulla, until she was not strong anymore. That night, Clara told her husband everything.

“Honey, I'm really tired of hearing all the pressure from your mother.” Clara landed her ass on the edge of the bed, then went to lie next to her husband who was currently lying sideways, facing towards Clara.

“Already, don't think about it,” said Aren as he put Clara's haircut behind the girl's ear.

“How can I not think? Your mother kept saying the same thing every time she saw me. I got lazy to get out of the room if this is the way,” complained Clara while sighing slowly.

Aren chuckled softly. “Do you remember the Frans curse I told you about? I think my mother was afraid that I would also get the same curse,” said Aren, guessing his mother's way of thinking.

Clara took a long breath. “If the one who got the curse is Frans, why did she also rush to tell me to get pregnant? We also just got married for a month. There's no way I just got pregnant,” grumbled the girl.

Aren stroked Clara's cheek. “Already, you rest. I don't want you to get stressed out for thinking about my mom,” he said, rewarded by Clara with a nod of his head.

After Clara falls asleep, Aren contacts Frans to tell her about what happened at the Nielsen residence recently.

Frans, who had just woken up, frowned when she found Aren calling her in the early hours of the morning. Between Copenhagen and Fiji there is a considerable time difference so Frans grumbles a bit when he picks up the call.

“Do you have to call me in the morning blind like this?” frans scolded as soon as he picked up the call.

Aren chuckles. “Sorry, Frans. I forgot that you are currently on your honeymoon on a tropical island,”.

Frans rubbed his eyes, then sat up. “What's up, Aren?”

“Clara is really upset with my mom,” Aren chirped. “Lately she has always urged Clara to get pregnant soon because ...” Aren stopped his words, fearing that he would offend Frans.

“Iya, Frans.”

“Just tell your mother that the curse is stuck in my body and it won't rub off on you, so she doesn't have to worry,” Frans said.

Frans and Aren's conversation was apparently heard by Kara. As soon as she saw Frans put his phone on the nightstand, she opened her voice.

“In this world there is no such thing as a curse, Frans,” Kara said.

Frans sontak. “What do you mean?”

“The curse does not exist. What happened to you and the woman in your past is not a curse, I'm sure,”. The girl was very sure that Frans was not hit by any curse.

“You don't know anything about what happened to me, Kara. What happened to me must be part of the curse.”

Frans and Kara argue. Both wanted to keep their trust. Kara, who does not believe in superstitious things like curses, insists that what happened to Frans is just a coincidence. While Frans who experienced it all and has been suggested with the words Lulla does not want to believe the words of Kara.

They kept arguing, fighting endless arguments. Until a sentence that came out of Frans' lips made Kara cry bitterly.

“I told you from the beginning that we will never have children!” frans jolt, making tears that dammed in Kara's eyelids finally shed.

“Frans, you should not be pessimistic about this,” Kara said among her sobs.

Frans who saw Kara crying felt guilty. The man clasped Kara's hand and kissed her.

“Sorry, Kara. I didn't mean to hurt you. I just don't want you to expect to have a descendant with me because I know the curse will keep me from doing it,” Frans said, bowing his head, regretting.
