Chapter 8 - Sandwich

The sun is so bright it shines on parts of the world and today some humans have started their activities as well as Darren and Anne who are already in the office.

The man looked very happy to be seen from the whistling coming from his mouth, some of the employees who saw her looked amazed because this was the first time they saw her boss so happy but her happiness faded away when she saw Anne with Brian who was in the Cafeteria.

"Gapain him early in the morning already together with other guys,"

Darren approaches them and sees Brian eating a sandwich in Anne's lunchbox.

"It's still morning like this you've been dating!" Brian stood up to give his salute to Darren except for Anne who was still sitting upset.

"Sorry Mr. Darren, me and Anne are not dating I'm just trying to make Anne's sandwich for me" Darren's eyes told him, Anne's sandwich and Brian's.

"How good does it taste?" Brian nodded increasingly making Darren go up.

"Dissolve you two, get back to work I don't want to see you two together like this anymore,"

"The office hours have not started Mr. Darren yet," Anne said in a voice that did not accept seeing Darren sound like that.

"Keep that the office hours have not been started you can feel good together, release the responsibility of your respective duties?" darren's thunderous voice managed to make some employees witness his current actions.

"I'm sorry Mr. Darren, I'm going back to work in my room once again I apologize for something like this I promise not to repeat," Anne was made to not believe Brian's words so innocently apologized.

"Good! Then wait for the two of you to get back to work" Brian nodded and brought the box of sandwiches Anne gave him.

Now that Anne was still standing, she clenched her hands, grimacing Darren's attitude just now.

"You don't want to apologize to me?"

"NO!"

Anne went off to pitch just like that, leaving Darren who was smiling in satisfaction of successfully dissolving the disturbing romantic scene in her eyes.

"All of you do it in silence, get out there and get back to work!" darren said to some employees who are still paying attention to him.

Darren in the opponent, he feels proud now because he is reluctant to his subordinates, including Brian from now on he entered the list of employees who do not like Darren because he dared to approach Anne.

"This is the document you requested," Anne handed the document to Darren who was propping up her chin, watching Anne's pouting face.

"Is that what you're doing to your boss Miss Anne?"

"Yes, I'm sorry I didn't mean to" he said, showing a smile on his horse.

"Don't smile like that, I don't like to see it. Now show me a genuine smile,"

Anne snorted bitterly, what else Darren was asking her to see should he be grateful even now ask her to smile sincerely at him.

"You're upset that I broke up your romantic breakfast with Brian, right?"

"No, Mr. Darren" he said, smiling as sweetly as possible, even by force.

The rancid man smiled sweetly seeing her smile at him, this is what Darren likes to see Anne's sweet smile in the morning.

"I have an important duty for you, Miss Anne,"

"What important tasks?" Darren made Anne curious.

"After coming home from the office I'll tell you, well please get out of my room. I want to take a nap, tired last night I stayed up late thinking about my request for you that you haven't granted."

Anne came out of Darren's room, now she's thinking about what an important task it is not to say Darren will take her back to meet her parents. Really am! Anne is not ready to face both parents Darren, yesterday he was forced and trapped Darren.

Thinking of Darren's actions managed to make his head feel tired, there is always a stupid thing Darren did that managed to make him always made his own confusion about his behavior.

Vanny approached Anne and said something that was being talked about in their office.

Yes, the name Anne is currently being the subject of cheap gossip because of Darren's action this morning like someone who is showing his jealousy.

"You sure about Anne? I think Mr. Darren likes you,"

"Hahaha.You know Van, he's always been a bitch to me so how could he like me,"

"I just feel like it's Anne, Mr. Darren's attitude isn't like he usually doesn't care so much for other employees and it's just you he's so humble" Anne closed her laptop.

"Van is like a chameleon, you know chameleons, right? Always changing the color."

"Yes, and that's how our superiors are often fickle and more dominant in their annoying attitude" Anne said.

"You don't seem to like Anne very much, if she'd heard you talk like that she would have done something."

"I'm not afraid of him at all, you know he's like a parrot in a cage that makes more noise but there's no action" Anne said.

Vanny can see clearly if Anne seems to be very dislikeful of Darren's attitude and perhaps only Anne is one of the employees who does not take part in admiring Darren.

Darren hears all of Anne's talk with Vanny but is not angry at all, but he is even more happy because it can make Anne upset.

What's with her is usually not so close to women but this time Darren just feels Anne is very different from other women.

"You're saying there's an important task for me, half an hour of office hours to be done what's your job?"

"You're sure of the task that this parrot is going to give you, Anne" he said, chuckling at Anne's shocked expression.

****! Anne felt insinuated by Darren's remarks just now it seemed like Darren knew he was talking about Darren that afternoon.

"Just tell me what your job is,"

"Huh calm down Miss Anne do not rush," he said as he got up from his seat, he touched both shoulders Anne managed to make the master frightened.

"What do you want Darren to do?"

"What do you think, Miss Anne, get rid of your dirty thoughts." Anne wondered how Darren would know her thoughts now.

"You're the one who thinks k-o-t-o-r! Get that hand off Darren's shoulder,"

"For a moment, I just wanted to tell you what your job is.. "

"Just tell me what tasks I have to do, don't beat Darren!" he said that made Darren feel anxious.

"Tomorrow morning you make me the most special sandwich" he whispered right in Anne's ear.

"WHAT! You asked me to make you a sandwich, what kind of a job is that?"

"Special task for you, Miss Anne, make the most special and the most delicious more delicious than you did for Brian this morning."

"See you miss Anne," Darren came out waving his hand at Anne who was still silent.

Fucking darren! What kind of assignment Darren just gave, he thought was really an important task in fact just the task of making sandwiches for the maniac.

"It's not that he has a lot of money why not just buy it at an expensive restaurant, why should I make sandwiches for him." Anne stomped her feet because she was so upset with Darren.
