Chapter 36 - Accident

The next day Darren gets word from Emma that Jackson is sick and wants to meet her at first Darren refuses but because Anne tries to persuade him in the end the man is willing to obey what the woman said.

"If it wasn't for Anne's request I wouldn't have made it to this house" Darren told Emma.

"Let's get Darren inside to see your Daddy" Emma said.

They went into the main room in the mansion which he currently saw was Jackson lying weakly on his bed, the old man actually fell ill.

"Wake up Darren has come" Emma said as she approached her husband.

"Darrenes.. Darren where is he?" asked in a daze and right in his eyes found his son who was now staring at him too.

"And I'm here, how are you doing now?" tanyanya while sitting on her bed.

"I'm fine where Anne didn't you ask her to come?" the question managed to make Darren stunned, what is with his father at this time.

"He couldn't come along because he appreciated starting," he replied.

Yes, in order to maintain the feelings of Jackson, the woman chose not to go with him to meet his parents because Anne knew very well if Jackson did not like him who had a special relationship with Darren.

"I'm sorry Darren shouldn't I constantly force you to do something you don't like, you're right as a father I'm being too selfish" he said, lowering his head.

"I'm not going to force you to marry Moa you're entitled to marry the woman you love Darren" she said.

"It's ok dad and thanks for understanding. I'm sorry for being so rude to you, too,"

Somehow Darren felt guilty at once for speaking in a high tone of intonation saying that Jackson was a very selfish father.

"Next week take your time and Anne to visit us Darren,"

"Yes mom, if I have time, I'll take Anne to come visit you guys,"

It was clear that Jackson had already given his green light signs for his relationship with Anne. Sooner or later in the end the relationship of the two will definitely be well received in both parents, which parents do not want to see their children happy.

Darren continued to run down the hospital corridor looking for ICU space after getting word from Frans he immediately left the residence of his parents' second home.

"Sorry you can't go inside because the doctor is treating the patient" said one of the nurses behind the front door.

"WHAT PATIENT INSIDE WAS THE VICTIM OF THIS AFTERNOON'S CAR ACCIDENT?"

"YES RIGHT, MR. VICTIM ON BEHALF OF MISS ANNETASYAH CLOPER."

As Darren's limp feet fell to the cold floor, he still couldn't believe the woman the ICU doctor was treating was Anne, but the belief was more certain when she look at Frans and Kelvin's whereabouts in the hospital right now.

"Sir Darren is sorry we came late" Kelvin said.

"I just left it for a while but it's been like this, it's my fault."

Darren covered his face he blamed himself if this morning he hadn't listened to Anne coming to his parents' house and had chosen to pressure Anne to meet their business client it won't be like this.

"I'm sorry Anne,"

"Already this sir is pure accident is not the fault of Mr. Darren," said Kelvin but Darren still continues to blame him.

"Tell me how did Anne get into an accident like this?"tanyanya looked at her two co-workers.

Anne was staring at the heavily motorized streets during the day, after waiting for nearly an hour or so for a client she said she wanted to see but the fact was that she didn't see him at all.

"Damn! It seems like I was lying, a waste of my time" he said as he walked out of the cafe.

Anne circulated her gaze looking for a taxi but not two minutes before a taxi car approached her own inner self feeling God seemed to be good with her so she did not have to wait long.

"To the space building, sir,"

"Well miss,"

The taxi drove as smoothly as Anne's mind now thought the man she loved was meeting her parents. His mind became worried because Darren had not given him news since this morning the man left.

Shhh.. The taxi driver set his brake pedal firmly managed to make Anne's body staggered forward.

"Why Sir?"

"Sorry miss it looks like the car tire is leaking I will see it coming out for a while" said the taxi driver as he exited his car and saw his car tire did not leak at all.

"How Sir?" anne asked from behind the window.

"Wait a minute Miss" And the taxi driver immediately raised his hand as a sign that the situation was safe.

"Do I get off sir?" Anne tried to open the car door but it was locked by the taxi driver.

"What's this why the door has to be locked, sir please open the door I want to get out."

Anne kept shouting but the taxi driver just waved his hand from a distance while smiling as he said, "I'm sorry Miss, please," And immediately the taxi car was hit from the front by a black Jeep car that drove quickly made the taxi car in front of him directly upside down and issued a large smoke.

And Anne's still stuck in that cab.

"By the time we came Miss Anne had been rescued lucky the people around immediately gave her help before the car really caught fire, that's all I know sir."

"The cab's locked up and there's only Anne herself in it?"

Frans and Kelvin nodded their heads as Darren asked him that.

"It's not a pure accident but there is someone who has planned all this, both of you I'm assigned to investigate this anyone you think deserves to be suspected quickly investigate him" said Darren.

"I think Rick is someone we should suspect, sir,"

"Frans don't just talk Rick is our co-worker one team," said Kelvin who does not like if his best friend Rick's name is dragged along.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to accuse Rick but I did catch Rick trying to corrupt the program data on your vin laptop, I've heard him talk to someone behind his phone asking Rick to let him fail us in the competition" Frans said with all the facts he knew, he spoke not just because he really caught Rick at the time.

"Actually I'm also very suspicious of Rick. If you still feel that your friend is not worthy of suspicion please give the evidence to me and to you Frans please help me find out who the perpetrator who has dared to make Anne like this." Darren told the two.

If Rick was involved in Anne's accident and everything Frans said was true how unfortunate Kelvin was for defending his best friend.
