Chapter 4 - Man of the Synthesis

Darren was already standing at Anne's doorstep, he accidentally did not knock on her door, so he planned to surprise Anne when she came out of her house and sure enough when the door was opened Anne was made hanging.

"You crazy man!" Anne held her chest in shock at Darren's presence at her doorstep.

"In this sunny morning you should have said good morning Darren handsome, but you cursed me instead" Anne wore her flatshoes on the front shelf of her house.

Anne ignored Darren's rant she chose to lock her door and walk away, making Darren have to walk in equal footstep with Anne.

"Hey, you're not very polite to me, I'm your boss. You know, I've been all the way here to pick you up but you're ignoring me,"

"Nobody asked you to pick me up, besides I'm your secretary Mr. Darren can you be as formal as I can be?" Darren shakes.

"I can't, I can't, I can be as casual as you are Miss Anne" Anne smiled, feeling that Darren was completely out of her mind.

Those who walked on the small road managed to make some people around him, noticing them and Anne who realized it he quickly walked in a hurry because he was famous for never being close to the man in the alley of his house, and the existence of Darren makes it sure will be the talk of his neighbors.

"You walk like a man who just saw a ghost,"

Yeah, and you're a fucking ghost Darren.

Anne smiled kindly and Darren opened the car door for her, will her day continue like this? Really, Anne was uncomfortable with Darren's attitude towards her. Perhaps, other women would have liked Darren's attention but Anne didn't like the attention that a rancid man like Darren would give her.

The handsome man approached Anne's desk, and Anne smiled kindly at him. The man seemed to be a little older than him.

"Hey are you the new secretary in this office?"

"Yes, I'm the new secretary here."

Anne put on her smile and the man reached out her hand, Anne accepted the helping hand with pleasure.

"I'm Brian's marketing staff in this office,"

"Anne, nice to meet you Brian."

What's with his heart now gini, his heart beats faster not because of Darren's rancid act but because of the sweet smile Brian gave him.

Anne only realized when there was a handsome man like Brian in this office, or indeed he was the only one who had just seen Brian.

"Later in the afternoon if you're not busy, I'd like to take you to lunch with all my other friends, too,"

For Neptune! Brian invited him to lunch with a gift that Anne did not expect.

"Ok, I'll try to let you know what kind of secretarial duties you have." Brian chuckles at hearing it. Yes, the job of CEO secretary is very solid.

"Well, I'm going back to work and you're excited to face our CEO.. Stubborn," Brian lowered his voice.

Anne looked at Brian's back that had entered her room, she hugged the bundle in her chest. Huh! If only he could have a girlfriend as sweet as Brian. But, unfortunately at his age is still single.

Duk! Anne's head in the toyor ahead made her shocked from her delusion.

"You.. Mm, I mean Mr. Darren," Anne almost pulled back and it was Darren who pulled his head from behind.

"It's forbidden to fantasize in the office, you have to know the rules here."

"Where was yesterday's file, you know I was waiting for you in my room. You're instead, fantasizing here,"

"This is the file," Anne gave Zack's approved file yesterday.

Darren noticed Anne's face that seemed upset because she was in the room, Darren tried to be so cool and firm when honestly he wanted to laugh at Anne's facial expression now.

"Your lips should not be used to go forward like that, someone will kiss hahaha.. "

Darren laughed as he walked towards his room while Anne was still gawking at the scene watching what Darren had just laughed at. Anne stomped her feet she was really pissed at that fucking Darren.

After the meeting, several employees had left the meeting room unless Darren and Anne who were still accompanying Darren read some documents that had just been discussed.

"You know Anne if this project fails the company will definitely suffer a big loss," Darren muttered as his eyes focused on the documents he was reading.

Anne is confused about what to respond to but she can clearly see if Darren is a boss who is so responsible for her company.

"You're asked to be quiet, what do you notice about my handsome face, huh?" Darren propping up his chin managed to get Anne to rewind her chair, their faces too close.

"Indeed what I have to respond to, I'm sure this project will definitely work if in the hands of the right person," Darren showed his eye smile.

"So you think I'm the right person for this project or right to be your lover" Anne raised an eyebrow, saying what Darren was.

"It's lunchtime, I'm sorry to come out Mr. Darren." Anne stood up and stepped towards the door but her steps were stopped because her hand was strangled by Darren.

Anne brushed off the hand, "Come, we'll have lunch together,"

"I'm sorry I can't, today I'm going to have lunch with Venny" Anne said.

Darren can't believe since when the woman had a friend in her office just her friend now.

"Yes, Venny's been invited to have lunch with us and I haven't eaten in the cafeteria in the office for a long time, either,"

Anne thought hard how to reject Darren's invitation where maybe he suddenly invited Venny to lunch with them. Yes, although Venny is a new friend in the office but this afternoon he did not want to miss the opportunity to have lunch with Brian.

"Sorry Mr. Darren I really can't accompany you to lunch bye,"

Anne ran away from Darren who was looking at her in wonder, what was with her secretary that was why she ran everything to avoid him.

All employees saw Darren's arrival at the Cafeteria because their CEO never set foot in the Cafeteria in his office, and today Darren wants to have lunch in Cafeteria he looks around looking for the whereabouts of his secretary who just ran away.

Darren smiles as he finds Anne sitting in the corner with several other employees, smiling at him and Anne who sees Darren biting her teeth, hoping Darren doesn't approach her...
