Chapter 37 - Comma

Anne has been declared in a coma for a week and still unconscious Darren is frustrated with Anne's situation even though Jackson and Emma have given him encouragement but still the woman he loves is lying weak in the the hospital bed.

"Darren, calm down, you don't keep going like this, my men have been mobilized to help the police in investigating Anne's accident case," said Jackson who saw his son did not want to do anything except accompany Anne in the hospital.

"If you continue like this you'll be sick just like Anne, you'll have to take care of your health Darren" Emma said.

"If I may ask the Lord that I lie sick here lest Anne in her life she has been hurt often, it is enough that I should have an accident." Darren was crying beside his girl's bed.

"Stop talking like that Darren did you forget about us" said Emma who joined in tears to see her beloved son crying like this.

At once Darren gets a phone call from Frans he gets word that Rick has finally found his whereabouts and now he has been secured in his own apartment.

Yep, yeah, when news of Anne's accident was aired on TV even Darren immediately reported it to the authorities for a moment somehow Rick disappeared and there was no news at all he just died his resignation letter on the table the job makes their suspicions even more certain that Rick is behind Anne's accident.

"Where are you going?"

"Dad, Mom please take care of Anne for me. I have to go because there are things I have to finish" he said, grasping.

"Darren don't be rash in acting,"

"And I just want to see Rick that's it, please take care of Anne for me" she said, looking into Jackson's eyes.

Darren entrusts Anne to her parents, and she must meet Rick. Now that Jackson realized it turns out that Darren is really very stubborn like himself he was just worried that his son would do something beyond his limits.

Darren hits Rick's face hard until the man is already helpless he can't fight back as both of his hands are tied to the back of the chair.

"Had Rick told you who told you to do all this" Frans said.

"I told you I had nothing to do with Miss Anne's accident" Rick shouted loudly as hard as Darren's punch in the face.

Bugh! Darren hits him back even to the point of making Rick bleed out of his nose.

"If you don't want to be honest I'll make sure I kill you here and throw your body for pet dog food at my house" Darren shouted back to beat blindly.

His body was already really not strong continuously in Darren's face if it kept on like this the man would definitely really kill him.

"I'LL SAY HONESTLY BUT I BEG YOU TO STOP HITTING I CAN DIE," rick said that managed to make Frans relieved to hear that he could not bear to see the blood that continues to pour everywhere due to Darren's blow on Rick's face.

"Tell me who told you to!" Darren gripped Rick's face until he managed to make the master in pain.

"I did it for the money to save my brother's dying life in the hospital, when I found out Mr. Vincent was offering me help as long as I wanted to be a spy in Mr. Darren's office," said slowly.

"So that guy was Vincent,"

In order to save his brother Rick's life, he becomes a spy in Darren's office, he even deliberately wanted to damage the program data on Kelvin's laptop lucky Frans had gotten a copy so when they drove the car while in the test the driver of his car was still running normally shadow if the automatic steering car they make a sudden broken/even error most likely they will have an accident at the time of the driver's test.

"How about Mr Darren?"

"Give him to the police station because no matter how much he's been involved in making premeditated murder."

"Okay sir, come along. You have to take responsibility for what you've done Rick." Frans drags Rick out.

Now that Darren has to make a plan for Vincent's turn to be ambushed later, the old man has dared to hurt his woman.

Drtts.. Drtts.. His phone rang displaying Mom's name on his screen as Darren picked it up.

"Darren go back to the hospital, Anne was awake when she woke up she was looking for you."

"Yes mom I'll be in the hospital soon,"

How happy Darren was to hear Anne had come to her senses from her coma and even her women were looking for her whereabouts.

Anne was still in a daze whether she had a dream or how she woke up earlier all she saw was the faces of Jackson and Emma, both of Darren's parents. He thought he was in dreamland but in fact he was not dreaming both of Darren's parents were really looking after him even as he realized they were smiling at him.

"Has Darren not arrived yet, madam?"

"She's here Anne if you're tired of going back to sleep, remember what the doctor said don't think too much" Emma said.

"You rest Anne, maybe Darren's in a traffic jam on the road,"

"Yes, good sir." Anne smiled awkwardly.

Indeed Anne felt goosebumps hearing the voice of Jackson who usually always spoke while looking at him sharply now the old man spoke so very slowly interspersed with his sweet smile, his smile very similar to Darren's smile, his face was equally handsome with Darren maybe even his attitude was exactly the same as Darren who was very stubborn.

Anne tried to close her eyes but strangely she had not fallen asleep. Yes, obviously he was hard to sleep because what he now wanted to meet was Darren but the man never arrived either.

"Darren where are you?" inner talking.

Not only Anne who was worried but Jackson and Emma also felt the same concern for Darren because Jackson's men had told him that Darren was meeting Rick at his residence and now it's one more hours they wait for Darren's arrival until Anne is made restless because the man did not come too.

"I'm going out to try to call Darren you're with Anne here" Jackson said, exiting the room.
