Chapter 2 - Lunch

Darren picks up Anne on time as well as Anne who is on time waiting for Darren in front of his alley and this afternoon they will meet with an important client in one of the cafes already in specify.

Darren was quite amazed by Anne's very neat clothes and makeup, and looked so beautiful that he was fascinated by himself.

"Ehem. sorry Mr. Darren we have arrived at the destination cafe," he reminded.

"Yes, we have arrived. Let's get down."

Yeah, that's what Anne wanted to say let's get down Darren baby but unfortunately the guy just keeps watching until it makes Anne feel so bad.

"Anne,"

"Why sir?"

"Today you look so beautiful" she whispered right in Anne's ear, which made her hit Darren's arm.

"You're very brave to hit your boss,"

"And you've had the audacity to tease your secretary Mr. Darren Jackson" Anne said angrily.

Darren even smiled devilly to hear Anne say that sentence just now, if not for being outside he wanted to laugh out loud.

"Have not said much if you know Mr. Zack has been waiting for us since," Darren clasped his hand pulling him into the cafe.

Zack as an investor who wants to participate in planting his shares in the company D.J Enterprises has been waiting for the arrival of Darren and he was amazed by the affection of Darren holding the hand of his new secretary, he had known Darren for a long time and it was only the first time he had seen Darren seintens with a woman.

"Sorry Mr. Zack has kept you waiting for a long time" Anne forcibly removed Darren's hand.

"Are you guys so romantic, is this your new secretary Darren's girlfriend?"

"You think" Darren blinked his eyes and chuckled.

What is the power of Anne can only sit sweetly beside the rancid Darren and listen to their important chatter, not only important chatter but both of them talk about it too this is all because of the actions of Darren who slyly grasped his hand.

"God.why can I work with such a shitty human like Darren Jackson." - Inwardly speaking.

Anne thought she had mistakenly dreamed that she could work at D.J Enterprises could she resign but she would not be able to pay for her compensation.

Darren looks at Anne who is busy with some of the files that Zack has given him when they are now done meeting with Zack and it's time to enjoy lunch together.

At once Darren smiled ignorantly his hand touched the hand of Anne who had been knocking on the table, and it managed to make Anne surprised when she immediately pulled her hand.

"What else do you want to do?" Anne screamed loudly at Darren who was chuckling.

"Wow, it turns out you're really fierce, huh," Darren still chuckles at Anne's lips for being so upset.

"You were like the busiest man on your own, did you not see! It's your food until it's cold stop working while we're eating together." Darren blinked one of his eyes successfully making Anne swallow her saliva.

Anne listens to Darren's words, she puts aside her file and eats the food Darren ordered for her. Darren watched Anne, he admired the way the woman in front of him who looked very tempting, especially when Anne's chewy lips devoured her noodles.

"Can you just be sweet one day, Miss Anne?" he said, propping up his chin with one hand.

"Huh unfortunately I was born since birth as sweet as this Mr. Darren," Anne replied to Darren's temptation.

"Well, can I taste what you're so sweet, Miss Anne?" darren's words just made Anne growl her teeth, wanting Anne to touch Darren's perverted brain.

Anne immediately devoured all her food, she focused more on her eating activities compared to having to see the face of Darren who was now chuckling.

Anne was standing next to Darren sitting on the couch with her fiance Moa Gibson, eager to get out of this room as soon as she could feel like she was just being treated as a mosquito repellent among them.

"Oh baby tonight we go, yeah" Moa keeps whining asking Darren to go out on a date night with him.

"I'm busy Moa you go alone," Anne could see Darren didn't like Moa, as she tried to let go of Moa's arms.

But, if Darren doesn't like Moa what they're up to. Because they were in a match, Anne's mind drifted everywhere. Anne tried to get her mind out for what she thought of such an annoying guy like Darren.

"Well let's go on a date tonight but on one condition,"

"Does that baby just say, you want me to give you some warmth tonight?" Darren was disgusted to hear the word warmth, who was the one who asked for warmth from Moa.

"Not that thought of you, I'd go on a date as long as Anne's with us tonight," as if in the afternoon lightning strike Anne rounded her eyes, she didn't believe Darren's crazy thoughts just now.

What the hell, here in this room alone Anne already feels like a mosquito repellent especially if until she comes with them. Anne really couldn't imagine it.

"Sorry Mr. Darren it seems I can't come, where may I interfere with your date with Ms. Moa," he said carefully.

"Look at her not wanting to, we're alone anyway I don't want our date to be disturbed by others" Anne raised one eyebrow, who would be a bully.

The purpose of Darren invites Anne to participate in his date is because he is bored if he has to continue with Moa from the first engagement Darren never wanted, Darren said, if it wasn't for Jackson-Her father's request maybe Darren wouldn't have wanted to.

Jackson and Moa's father, Vincent Gibson, have been best friends for a long time, since Darren and Moa were young, and their parents have agreed that their child has grown up. They will both match both.
