CHAPTER I The First Step

1.7 Partner part 1.

It's been two months since the incident where I left my grandfather to fight against seven major sins. I keep hoping that grandfather is fine because until now there has been no news from grandfather.

Unknowingly I was hit by a very strong kick in my face so it bounced again. I lay down and raised my hand that was clasped with my thumb raised. I did it because I saw the forbidden area a second time.

Nadha looked very angry and went to the side of the field talking something to the soldiers. After that the soldier told me to wait in the middle of the field. It was seen Nadha re-entering the field using female-only warrior clothes.

We finally started fighting again. I only dodged and occasionally tried to attack because I could not bear to hurt the beautiful woman in front of me. Even so Nadha did not hesitate to attack me.

I resisted the attack and stopped Nadha's body movement with my lockdown from behind.

"Is this enough?" I said as I held Nadha's hands behind her.

"Come here Armstrong," cried Nadha while trying to escape even though he could not.

Our faces both turned red. Nadha also reacted angrily to her father.

"Eh said we ate with the higher-ups, but there were only the three of us?" I whispered to Nadha astonished by the situation.

"I lied to you, it's just a royal family dinner" Nadha answered me with a smile. I was immediately shocked by what Nadha told me.

"While waiting for Nadha's mother let's talk first" said the king very kindly.

"Oh dad, I had read a book from my grandfather's diary that my father had given me. The name of the father is very similar to the great-grandfather," said Nadha wanted to make sure.

"Let's go now, get your bags and leave," said Nadha excitedly.

After I picked up my bag, Nadha directly dragged me out through the window. We stayed until we got out of the gate.

Finally we came out of Carleon's royal palace. Our goal now is the nest of the Fafnir dragon written in the book that Merlin gave to the king of Raizen. We call it the monster book.

It was written in the book monster pedia that fafnir was in the territory of Carleon and Majapahit without being known by people. He was on the border of the Carleon and Majapahit seas, precisely in a meadow called savannah.

I was very impressed with Nadha even though she grew up in the kingdom as a princess but she did not complain in the least on this trip.

"I haven't thought about it yet, let's rest under the tree first," I answered a question from Nadha while walking towards a very large tree. The tree stood firmly in the middle of the Savana alone.

After that we both rested under that tree. I didn't feel like I was asleep and had a very strange dream.

I was in a very dark cave. Then someone spoke to me.

"What are you looking for?" ask someone without me knowing where it is.

"I want to find a partner who can help me grow so that I can be as strong as my grandfather even more," I answered that person's question.

"What would you do if you were strong?" ask someone again.

"For the time being I want to find my grandfather and I don't want to be a burden on him anymore" I replied again while searching for that person's location.

"yes, why Nadha?" ask me while opening my eyes.

"Have we slept here?" nadha asked confusedly.

I looked around and was shocked. It looks like the cave I was dreaming about. I quickly stood up and held Nadha's hand. I pulled him so as not to get behind me.

We walked down the cave. Until I finally saw an oasis-like spring and a dragon in the middle.

"Welcome to the nest of my dragon children" a voice sounded from the direction of the dragon lying down.

"Hallo dragon lord," I greeted him with my body that felt extremely trembling as I approached the dragon.

The dragon had an extremely large body and was bluish green in color. Its physical characteristics are very similar to the description of the dragon fafnir.

After that I tried to attack the monster. I jumped up and tried to slash from above. But all of a sudden the slime had changed into a huge dragon-like shape and was spitting out flames.

I looked at the dragon earlier, looking he was smiling happily watching me burn.

"Hey, that's no ordinary slime. This type of slime is a copy slime that can follow the form of other mythical monsters and their skills within a certain distance" said Nadha while opening the monster book.

I was more careful in attacking. I circled around the dragon-shaped slime body earlier while observing. I would occasionally attack and retreat again.

We tried to follow the dragon but were hampered because the place he was flying was a river in a cave. I pulled Nadha and quickly turned around. Suddenly a chunk of rock fell on top of us while trying to get out of the cave.
