The Rune Knight (Monster Tamer)
CHAPTER I The First Step
1.3 History part 1.
The light from the flames stuck in each corner illuminated the entire vast room. Many books neatly arranged on shelves lined up and arranged to fill part of the room. It was seen that the male student was holding an open book beside one of the shelves while flipping through the paper on the book. In addition there were some female disciples seen looking for something by walking slowly near the bookshelf. Some of the students looked quite serious reading while sitting on a bench near the stairs to the second floor accompanied by a pile of books beside him.
After I looked around, I walked slowly to pay attention to the books on the shelf. I carefully searched for the book my grandfather had told me about in training before I was kicked out of the house. The title of the book is 12 kingdoms.
"Hey, what are you doing?" the voice of a very familiar woman spoke to me rather rudely.
"Eh, princess. I was looking for a book" I said after I looked at the face of the woman who called me.
"Don't call the princess. We are both training students. Just call me Nadha. Ok!" said the princess while teasing me a little.
"Ehmm. yes sir, uh no I mean Nadha," I replied stammeredly and slightly embarrassed.
"What book are you looking for?" nadha asked while looking at the book on the shelf behind me.
"I'm looking for the book my grandfather told me about. The title is if not wrong 12...," I answered while continuing to try to find the book on the shelf but my answer was cut because Nadha suddenly shouted.
"I found it," Nadha suddenly shouted as she picked up the green-colored book from the shelf.
All eyes in the library were on Nadha including me. The students who were curious about the voice were also trying to figure out what was happening. They came to the hallway where the voice had sounded. Suddenly my left hand was grabbed and pulled by Nadha. He ran up to several empty benches close to the stairs leading to the second floor.
"Eh. sorry," Nadha apologized while taking my hand off. He looked surprised when he saw his right hand holding my left hand.
"It's okay Nadha," I answered Nadha's apology while raising my left hand in front of my face and smilingly looking at her.
"Basic pervert" said Nadha and his face turned angry.
I just smiled in response to Nadha's words and didn't answer.
"What book are you looking for?" nadha asked in a slightly irritated voice while trying to sit on the bench and put the book she brought to the table.
"I'm looking for a book called 12 kingdoms" I replied to Nadha while trying to sit near Nadha.
"Is this the book you're looking for?" nadha asked as she lifted the green book from the table.
"Ah yes maybe the book," I replied as I had previously looked carefully at the green book.
On the cover of the green book it says 12 kingdoms. I was shocked and wondered in my heart why the princess was also looking for this book. But I didn't try to ask him.
We both agreed to read this book together. I tried to get closer to Nadha to read more clearly the contents of the book. After the cover was opened there was the inscription Radja Carleon and below it was written Raizen.

My hand moved to record a few words in the book before I went to sleep. But after I wrote, there was no sleepiness present to put me to sleep. Finally I went on to write the name of the kingdom and the king who presided in 1500.

Work in the middle of the desert. But it has a land so fertile that it includes a prosperous kingdom. His king was 25-year-old Rohan. This king is a Scropion king type tamer monster named Sion.
Romance.
The kingdom had a second military power after the majapahit. His king, 20-year-old Napoleon, was a rival of King Albert because he had trained together. This king is a titan tamer monster named Dominic.
Clovers.
A very closed kingdom with other work. Even rarely anyone knows the information that is in the work. His king was 25-year-old Galan. He was a black phoenix tamer monster named Azura.
Magnolias.
A very densely populated kingdom with different architectural styles to other kingdoms. His king, Laxus, was 20 years old. He has a Werewolf tamer named Hector.
Imperial.
A kingdom that has a powerful motto that is powerful. The king is not of royal descent. Everyone has the right to challenge the king once every 10 years to seize his throne. His king, Luca, was 25 years old and notorious for being sadistic. He has a lilith-type tamer monster named Sonia.
Carleons.
A kingdom that loves nature and takes care of its natural conditions. His king's name is 60-year-old Harlequin. He had a Seraph-type tamer monster named Yuan.
I finally finished this part in my heart saying. I love to write, especially about my personal experiences. This I do so that the next generation can find out how fun this era is.
"Tok Tok," the knocking sound on the door sounded quite clearly in my ear.

I walked down a long corridor that felt very quiet. True this was very late at night, all that was seen were some guards patrolling or standing in their posts.
Two burly male guards stood firm without saying a word guarding a door. I walked on until I approached the two guards. Both of them bowed and opened the door for me.
There was an old grandfather in the room standing next to the window staring at the night sky. Besides it was seen a middle-aged woman had fallen asleep in bed far enough away for me to reach.
"Dad why call me these nights?" I asked while approaching my father's position who was looking at the night sky through the window.
"Oh you've come Raizen. For a moment we sit there." replied my father as he walked in the direction he pointed and finally sat down.
I followed my father and sat in front of him and saw that from a distance my mother had fallen asleep.
"Next week you will be crowned king of this kingdom and this is not a plea but a command," said my father unceremoniously with a serious look at me.

The sound of music even though slow but enough to make the atmosphere in this large room come alive. Some people were seen talking to each other while standing and enjoying the dishes served. Father and mother were carried away by the atmosphere and served some invited guests I did not know chat.
I stood a little far away, in the right corner of the throne of the king's throne, carrying a cup of chocolate in my right hand. Without me realizing suddenly there was a hand that was embracing me from behind.

His name is Albert, he is now the king of Majapahit. Even though he is now king, he still acts as usual to me. But there's something I'm afraid of right now that's about her prank that never changes.
For sure he will cause trouble in this place in my heart sure. I noticed him and it's true he must be planning something here. When I saw his smiling face I felt an unpleasant feeling.
Soon a group of soldiers led by artemis came in front of the door while pointing arrows at the room. There were about 50 soldiers in the group.

A seraph-type monster appeared from the light earlier and threw out its wings so that the smoke that filled the room disappeared.
But without me realizing my father had hit the assassin's head with a stick in his hand many times.
"You're a fool, Albert, to break the coronation of my son. It's not funny" my father yelled in annoyance while beating the assasin's head with all his might.
"Hahaha, get caught. Uncle was great, "without guilt Albert laughed despite looking painfully at my father's blow.
Finally my coronation began after the uproar caused by Albert.

One month I have been king of Carleon. I sat in the king's seat while receiving reports from the royal executives. It was seen a soldier running towards me and interrupting the report that was being relayed by one of the royal executives.
"Report your king" said the soldier panting while kneeling before me.
"Stay, what do you want to report?" my orders were with the soldier earlier as I felt a bad feeling.
"Majapahit was attacked by 3 kingdoms at once, namely the Imperial, Royal, and Konoha kingdoms," said the soldier.
"Then what happened to the Majapahit kingdom?" I was curious about the soldiers.
"According to information from the border guards, Majapahit managed to repulse the 3 royal forces. But the 3 royal troops were still camped not far from the kingdom," said the soldier answering my question.
"Send a scout to King Albert to confirm why there was an attack!!" my orders to the soldiers are not far from me.
10 Years have passed since the incident of attacking the alliance of 3 kingdoms against the majapahit kingdom. The inevitable war is growing. All the kingdoms except Carleon took part in the war. Carleon only defended and never attacked because I wasn't sure what was really going on.
Albert never gave any news at all. The last word from him was a letter from the scout I sent to confirm the attack to the Majapahit kingdom. The contents of the letter I have attached after this page.
"Hey old friend, this is just a small matter. Don't worry about me. Right now I'm trying to figure out what really happened. So don't get dragged into this problem huh. The name of King Majapahit at the end of the letter was Albert.
I actually understood the meaning of the letter that I had to be careful with the mythical monsters in human form. But he did not give any information on what kind of mythical monsters to look out for.

"Evacuate the population outside the fort, and quickly close the entrance gate of the entire kingdom," I said, noting the movement of the forces of the kingdom of Germa. The Kingdom of Germa has indeed expanded its territory by capturing the coastal Konoha region. No wonder they could reach Carleon kingdom so easily.
It appears that the figure I recognize is in front of the Germa army. I immediately flew out using air magic towards the boundary of the Carleon royal barrier meeting the person earlier. That man is Darwin the new king of the empire.

War broke out in the Carleon kingdom. My royal barrier was destroyed after being bombarded by katapult and the magic of the Germans. King Darwin has truly prepared himself to invade my kingdom. There are two tools I've never seen used by the Germans. This made my army defeat against them. It was a cross bow and a magic bomb that was seen coming from a jewel.
I went to the west side because that's where the most visible defeat on my army was.
"Explode whirlind," I cast a spell while running towards someone who looks strong. A huge tornado storm appeared with an explosive sound heard from within the storm. The magic hit some of the enemy forces in the west.
The person I saw earlier suddenly disappeared from my sight and attacked me from the left side using a samurai sword.
I managed to withstand his attack with the magic book I brought. The one who attacked me was General Galeo and beside him was a bird that suddenly changed size to be very large, mythical monster roc.
We fought so long two on one that he unleashed the main power of the runes called installs that combined the power of the mythical monster with himself. His body changed color like the claws of a roc bird that was bluish in color and had wings on its back.
"Thorn whip" I shouted while jumping backwards.
A thorny root appeared from within the ground and directly attacked Galeo. But when the roots touch Galeo's body the roots turn to stone.
Then I tried using water and fire magic, the result was the same. The water and fire had turned into a lump of stone. Then I tried using earth magic it worked. I constantly used earth magic to beat Galeo back.
But unfortunately when I managed to repel Galeo, the royal gate was broken through. I instantly made a water circle magic on Galeo's body without covering his face. As a result, the water turns to stone and locks Galeo's body. He was seen rolling to and fro as his head moved.
I immediately chased after the main army of the Germa kingdom that had entered my royal gate with fly flying magic.
Suddenly there was an arrow at high speed hitting my left shoulder and making me fall. I fell down near a brownish yellow building that looked like a house. A few soldiers came and surrounded me looking like they wanted to protect me. I tried to stand with the condition of the left shoulder stuck in an arrow that was larger than the usual arrow.
"Ahhhh," I screamed in pain as I tried to pull out the arrow.
"Are you all right, your majesty?" ask one of the soldiers who circled me worriedly.
"Relax, I'm fine" I said while motivating the soldiers who were protecting me.
I saw many troops from my kingdom and Germa lying on the ground. Besides that I saw from a distance many Germa soldiers keeping their distance and besieging us.
"I advise you to give up Raizen," it was Darwin's invisible voice coming from his nose.
I did not answer his words while thinking about how to get through the current situation.
"Throw bomb!!!" darwin's voice gave instructions to his troops.
Dozens of magic bombs flew towards us.
"Wind guard," I said quickly I made a shield from the wind magic around us.
Dozens of magic bombs exploded around the magic protectors I made. Black smoke surrounded us as we arrived there was a sound like an object falling from the sky. There was a shadow of someone's back faintly from behind the black smoke.
