CHAPTER III The Deleted Legend

3.5 Power of Sloth.

I walked through a dark room accompanied by the sound of echoing footsteps. Even though it was faint to see there were two people in front of me. After some time I walked, the light was finally visible. Me, Elric and Escanor came out of the cave.

After that Escanor immediately left us both. Then Elric and I ran and jumped on the tree to get back to the field where the children were gathered.

"Elric, has Sincan been found?" ask me when I jump over some trees.

"At that time, a white-haired grandfather came with the boy. If it's not wrong, it's Al, Al, Albert" said Elrick, who tried to recall the man who brought Sincan back.

"Haaa, Albert," I said astonished at the name.

"Brakkkkk," I suddenly lost focus and hit the tree in front of me.

"Hey are you okay?" said Elric who stood beside me as he extended his hand.

"It's okay" I replied as I grabbed Elric's hand and tried to stand up again.

"What are the characteristics of this old man named Albert?" I was curious about Elric.

"Hair is white, but white is unusual. Ah yes it is similar to the color of your hair" Elric said, recalling the person who brought Sincan.

When Elric gave me that information, I wished that it was my grandfather. I am very happy with that information. Although there is little doubt.

"Continue?" ask the still curious Reminiscences.

"That's a scar?" I said surprised. But grandfather has no scar on the visible part except his back I said inwardly. After that, I doubted that this person was my grandfather. But in my heart I hope that it is grandfather.

Arriving at the field where the children were gathered we were shocked by the presence of King Harlequin in the middle of the children.

"Baginda king," I said greeting king Harlequin while kneeling before him. Elricpun followed me to kneel in front of him.

"Stand you. There is no need to be that formal" said the Harlequin king, who plays with the children.

"Who is the king here with?" I was curious because I somehow expected Nadha to come with him.

"Why ask that?, I came with Mr. Shahir. Kangen with Nadha you remember?" said the king of Harlequin who seemed to know I meant to ask him.

"Eh, not the king. I just want to know, because there's nobody else I see around us but these kids" I told King Harlequin.

"Hahahaha, don't lie, Kenang" said the king of Harlequin who knew the meaning of the question.

I was silent and my face was hot. Elric was confused by my closeness to King Harlequin. He seemed to wonder why I dared to talk to the king like I knew each other.

After a while came a man in green and a woman in light blue.

"Dad," said the woman in blue who came.

"Oh, Nadha. There are those who seek you" said the king of Harlequin, pushing me towards Nadha.

I only obey when pushed by the king. Elric was still confused by what happened.

"Hey long time no see" said Nadha who looked happy.

"Hey," I said as I scratched my head in embarrassment at the words of the Harlequin king.

"What business did the king and Shahir come here?" ask me after greeting Nadha.

"Oh, I'm just delivering a lost child to someone" the king said with a smile.

"Deehhh, dad. Don't be" said Nadha, lashing out at King Harlequin.

"Duaaaarrrrr," the sound of an explosion rang out very loudly. The explosion emitted a pitch-black smoke. It seems to be from the cave where I was trapped earlier.

I, Nadha and Elric were immediately assigned by the king of Harlequin to evacuate the children. Meanwhile, the king and Shahir went directly to the direction of the explosion.

After I, Nadha and Elric evacuated all the children at the guard post, we went straight to the blast with some soldiers.

I kept jumping up and down the tree with Elric and some soldiers who had both assassin and artemis. While Nadha was running on the ground followed by some soldiers who had paladin jobs, necromancers, and Lector.

After passing through the forest we saw Mr. Shahir was fighting with a person I know that Andi. While the king of Harlequin was preoccupied with the satirical mythical monster I had encountered named Sloth.

Suddenly a very strong vibration was felt when we surrounded Andi and Sloth. It seemed like the tremors were centered from the cave beside the fight. Instantly the ground cracked and some sinks. Sloth and Andi jumped off the ground.

"Nearly," said Sloth as he rubbed his face with the back of his hand.

"Maybe it is," answered Sloth lightly.

As a result of the vibration created a very long ground crack from the cave to enter the forest.

"Thunder Clap," cried the king of Harlequin from the opposite side as it was separated by a crack in the ground.

Out the blue-colored lightning glow from the Harlequin king book led to the blue sky. After that dozens of thunderbolts from the blue sky descended down where Sloth and Andi stood.

But Sloth and Andi managed to dodge it easily. Seen the area where the fall of lightning magic belonging to the king Harlequin scorched and damaged the surface of the land.

When the shadow returned to Sloth, his body underwent a change. He grew taller and his body looked proportionate.

Then he ran so fast that my eyes could not follow him. One by one the soldiers fell and their bodies just vanished.

"Damn," I said as I continued to watch the massacre.

"Amstrong appeared" cried Nadha from a distance.

White light appeared to form a human body and had wings. Armstrong appeared right in front of Nadha withstanding Sloth's attack.

Suddenly I realized that this was still in the fight. I'm calling Escanor. "Come down Escanor."

Instantly a large bluish-green Dragon appeared with a very powerful lesion that shook the earth. Me and Escanor immediately attacked the Sloth held by Armstrong.

After Sloth was successfully blasted by Escanor, she retreated slightly from her position with her arms crossed in front of her chest. He had managed to withstand the Escanor's bursts despite being visibly injured as a result. But after that his body grew bigger and gave off a terrifying aura.

Meanwhile, Andi who was far away from me just kept quiet. He didn't do anything. He seemed to ignore me and pretended not to know me.

King Harlequin approached Escanor along with Shahir, Yuan, and Rize. They tried to attack the Sloths many times but none of their attacks hit the Sloths.

As the attack continued, I approached Nadha and Armstrong.

"Are you all right?" I asked Nadha and Armstrong after being close to them.

"No problem" replied Nadha who was still focused on the attacks that were heading towards Sloth. While Armstrong just quietly looks focused on the surrounding.

After a series of attacks led to the Sloth, suddenly the cave next to the fight was destroyed. Appeared a very large creature in black and stocky. It was Wrath that surprised us.

"Hei Wrath is it done?" sloth asked the black creature earlier while waving his hand.

"Oh already, let's go," said Wrath as he showed a small object in his hand. It was a very good spear-shaped thing.

"Go first, Andi follow Wrath," said Sloth who did not want to miss the fight against those around him.

"Alright, come on Andi," said Wrath as he turned around. After that Andi ran up to Wrath and jumped on his shoulder.

Suddenly a huge black hole appeared swallowing Wrath and Andi. They both disappeared, nothing left.

"Let's continue," said Sloth who directly attacked everyone nearby. The speed was terrifying but Escanor was able to follow him well and withstand the attacks that were heading towards some people.

It was like seeing the slow movements of the two of them, but I was sure that my movements could not keep up with their speed.

Attack after attack exchanged between the two of them. Any blow that can be tacked on must have unleashed an explosion.

"Divine Ray," Yuan and Armstrong said together.

Two lights emerged from the top of the concurrent Sloth which increasingly disappeared and then exploded violently. While Escanor who heard Yuan and Armstrong's voice immediately retreated to avoid the light earlier.

Although Sloth was hit by that impromptu attack, he was still able to stand firm with wounds all over his body. Then the aura around the Sloth became heavier. This aura changes just like I felt when Escanor fought Pride first.

Sloth's body then turned into a bigger one. His face that originally looked like a human slowly changed like the face of a goat. It grew two more hands under its main hand and its body became bigger.

"Back off everything" said Escanor who learned that Sloth's changes would be very dangerous.

Then everyone who was around the fight instantly gathered. All the soldiers that were with me and Nadha in the beginning had already disappeared. So it is I, Nadha, Elric, king of Harlequin and sir Shahir.

While the mythical monsters protect us. Yuan, Armstrong, Rize, and Alfonse were right in front of us. While Escanor was far away from us and closest to Sloth.

But when Sloth started jumping to attack Escanor, suddenly our bodies seemed to be moved somewhere.
