CHAPTER II Inter-Academy Tournament

2.5 Intruders.

"Duaaarrrrrrr," a very powerful explosive sound came from outside the cave. I was the one who was initially checking the condition of the hell hound on the shocked ground. And Robin is not far from me. It seems he was shocked too.

"Let's rush out, something's not right" said Escanor who felt an oddity from the outside of the cave.

"Come," I said as I tried to stand up.

I evacuated the injured lizardmen and fenrir with Escanor. We put them in the trees around the river. It's just that I can't cure them.

"I'll replace you first. Go heal the victim with Armstrong first. It's dangerous if they're not treated now" I said explaining why I attacked.

"Yes fine, but don't beat him before I go back," said Nadha looking annoyed.

I smiled wryly at the words from Nadha. It is easy if only there is no intention to defeat him. Unaware of being battered, I said in my heart as I watched Sirius move.

"Hey Sirius what do you really want to do?" I asked Sirius who was standing in front of me.

He just smiled and tried to attack me. Escanor held him right in front of me. After that Robin's arrow shot from the left side towards the right into Sirius's eyes. But Sirius managed to smash the arrow with one feather from his wing.

An enormous sized slime landed from above Sirius. The mucus hit Sirius' entire body. He was caught off guard because he could not feel the presence of the hiding chameleon.

I think maybe it was a plan that Robin and the Chameleon had prepared. After that Escanor and I tried to get close to Sirius.

"Give up" I said, searching for Sirius's crystal ball.

"What are you looking for?" sirius asked with a smile.

"hahahaha," Sirius laughed and looked very relaxed.

Although Sirius was being pressed but his attitude was very relaxed. I don't know what he's up to I don't understand either. Escanor who had been silent was finally angry at Sirius for his stupid stay.

"Flame tornado," suddenly came a voice from the sky.

Me and Escanor immediately moved away from where Sirius was held. At the place where Sirius was restrained came a very hot firestorm. The storm vaporized the river not far from there.

Sirius, who had been restrained, flew out of the firestorm. He was flying like he was approaching something. It was Envy. It was Envy who had fired the magic earlier.

I was surprised by Envy's arrival. So did Escanor, Nadha and Armstrong.

"Goodbye fafnir" Sirius said as he flew away.

"Oh yes my name is not Sirius, but Zeref. The real Sirius has been killed by his friends" said Zeref, who paused to face us to explain and flew away again.

We dug a few holes in the ground close to the ruins of the lizardman. Some lizardmen took turns digging up the land. I just noticed they were digging next to Nadha and Robin.

I looked around and saw Solus and the hellhounds looking sad. Next to Solus stood Zaryusu who was commanding the lizardmen.

This is our third day in the mythical forest. After going through a long day yesterday, we including the lizardman and hell hound got a few cuts. The injury did not just come from physical injury. But another injury stemmed from the loss of their friends.

A total of 7 lizardmen were killed and 3 were seriously injured. Meanwhile, 20 hell hounds were killed for giving Solus a way to escape.
