CHAPTER 66. Change rooms

Ying Ying was on his way back to the guest room in the palace after successfully reading the contents of the letter from Emperor Tang. As Ying Ying expected, Li Chang Le's spirit was also in the meeting hall so Ying Ying did not invite Li Chang Le's spirit to follow him back to the room.

Ying Ying accelerated his footsteps towards the room, then turned the fake Ying Ying, who was lying on top of the bed into a clay statue again and stored it.

"Tan Xiang's! If Chang Ru is looking for me, please let her in!" message Ying Ying.

"Well Miss Chang Le!"

A while later, there was a knock on the door from outside so Tan Xiang opened the door.

"Miss Chang Ru, Miss Yang Zi, Princess Tang Yan!" greet Tan Xiang politely.

Chang Ru barged into the room and walked over to Ying Ying. Yang Zi and Princess Tang Yan followed closely behind.

"Sister Chang Le!"

"What's Chang Ru?"

"Princess Tang Yan wants to exchange rooms with you to get closer to my room. Queen Wen sent a palace lady to help move the equipment between the two of you.

The four of them sat in the garden. Some of the palace's ladies serve small snacks and jasmine tea.

Ying Ying enjoyed the little snack after making sure there was no poison in it. Ying Ying knew the three of them wanted to convey something, but Ying Ying pretended not to ask her.

Chang Ru and Yang Zi signaled each other's eyes.

"The journey from the Southern Tang Kingdom to the Wei Kingdom was a long way off. Did everything go smoothly on the way, Princess Tang Yan?" asked Yang Zi.

"General Li Jin chose a safe route. It's just that the horse ridden by me suddenly ran fast. I was lucky to be saved by Bu Yi!"

Ying Ying and Princess Tang Yan swapping rooms was a supporting factor for Queen Wen's plan to go smoothly.

Tan Xiang walked over to Ying Ying. "Miss Chang Le! All of Miss's equipment has been moved to the new room."

Ying Ying nodded his head in response, then stood up from the chair.

"Chang Ru, Yang Zi, Princess Tang Yan! I want to rest in my room. See you at dinner tonight!" said Ying Ying and walked away leaving the three of them.

"Chang Le is stupid! You will cry tonight! I am satisfied that you feel the same pain as me!" inner Chang Ru.

Chang Ru followed Queen Wen's orders with pleasure. Chang Ru was very happy that Princess Tang Yan would become Wei Bu Yi's concubine and get married on the same day as Ying Ying.

An hour before the dinner begins, the palace attendants came to usher in a new set of hanfu for Ying Ying and relayed a message from Queen Wen that the new hanfu should be worn by Ying Ying at the palace dinner.

Ying Ying checked carefully whether the hanfu was given the same poison as the phoenix engraved gold bracelet.
