CHAPTER 49. Transfiguration magic

Ying Ying, Tan Xiang, and Li Chang Le's spirit headed towards Li Chang Ru's room after exiting the music room to execute a plan of tricking Bai Lu.

Ying Ying used illusion magic so no one saw them enter Chang Ru's room.

While they were inside the room, Ying Ying took out two clay statues from the magic ring, then wrapped a strand of Chang Ru's hair and a strand of Chen Chen's hair onto the bodies of the two clay statues.

Ying Ying placed the two clay statues on the bed. Then Ying Ying's index and middle fingers were simultaneously directed to the bed.

In a short period of time, the two clay statues transformed into Chang Ru and Chen Chen due to the magic power of transfiguration.

"Chen Chen!"

"Yes, Brother Tan Xiang!" chen Chen answered the incarnation of the clay statue.

The Rentenir believed Bai Lu's words and threatened that if Bai Lu did not pay the remaining debt, then they would charge him to the Residence of General Li Jin.

"A Niu! Lim! Take young master Li Teng to his room!"

"Okay, young lady!" answer A Niu and A Lim together.

Bai Lu headed towards Chang Ru's room to give her some dew. The fake Chang Ru received the dew water bottle happily and immediately opened the veil to smear the swelling on her cheek.

Bai Lu was certain that Chang Ru's face would be as smooth and beautiful as before after putting on the dew water for two days.

Bai Lu was inside Chang Ru's room for ten minutes before going to her room to rest. As per Ying Ying's estimation, Bai Lu was completely unaware that Chang Ru and Chen Chen he had encountered were merely incarnations of clay statues.

In the morning Bai Lu woke up to the sound of knocking on the door from outside.

"Madam!"

"Come in!"

A Ling opened the room door and walked over to Bai Lu. Bai Lu was already leaning on the bed while staring intently at A Ling.

"What the hell woke me up in the morning?"

"Miss Chang Ru is still sleeping in her room," replied A Ling.

Bai Lu suspected Chang Ru was unwilling to come out of the room as she was still wearing a veil so decided to immediately find out what was going on.

Bai Lu stood in front of the music room and tried to eavesdrop on the sound from within, but did not hear any sound. A Ling and a few servants stood behind Bai Lu. Bai Lu deliberately brought along some of his trusted servants.

"Open the door!" bai Lu's Order.

"Okay, young lady!" answer A Ling.

Bai Lu stepped his foot into the room. His pair of eyes widened as he watched the hanfu tear and scatter on the floor.

"ah! There's a man swallowed*ang!" shouted A Ling while closing her eyes with her left hand, while her right hand pointed towards the table where guzheng and other musical instruments were.

"What's wrong? What's up?"

The servants behind Bai Lu entered the room and peeked out from behind. They did not dare to advance forward before getting an order from Bai Lu.

All the musical instruments that were originally neatly arranged on the table, scattered on the floor. While on the table look two men swallow*ang.

From the point of view of Bai Lu's entourage, only the backs of the two men were visible and under the bodies of the two men were two pairs of smooth white female legs.

"Chang Le's? What are you doing?" yelled Bai Lu.

Bai Lu knew for sure what Chang Ru was up to after entering the music room and looking at the contents inside.

"Miss Chang Le?"

The loud and carefree voice from behind made Bai Lu's entourage turn to the source of the voice simultaneously.

Ying Ying and Tan Xiang walked quietly towards Bai Lu's entourage.

"Why is Miss Chang Le outside the room?" ask A Ling.

"Me and Tan Xiang just got home from the market after buying a little snack, then heard my name called out repeatedly so it came to you!" answer Ying Ying.

The servants looked at the several small paper bags in Tan Xiang's hands so as to believe Ying Ying's words. Of course all those small snacks were the result of Ying Ying's magic.

While Bai Lu had a bad premonition upon seeing Ying Ying's appearance. Bai Lu observed once again the tear of hanfu on the floor.

"Chang Ru!" inner Bai Lu.
