Ying Ying sat before the table while propping up his chin with both hands. His mind was still focused on Emperor Wei's second edict, while Tan Xiang bailed out briefly after escorting Ying Ying to the room.

Chen Chen was surprised to see Ying Ying had already changed into a new hanfu outfit.

"So Miss Chang Le ate too many small snacks. If Miss Chang Le is hungry again, I'll take her to the dining room later tonight" Tan Xiang said.

"All right, Brother Tan Xiang!" answer Chen Chen.

As Chen Chen walked out of Li Chang Le's room, Ying Ying tried to concentrate his hearing to hear Chen Chen's footsteps.

Ying Ying breathed a sigh of relief from being able to hear the sound of Chen Chen's footsteps drifting away and also the sound of Chen Chen's conversation with the other servants.

"Thank God! My powers can appear lagj!" inner Ying Ying.

"Miss Chang Le!" call Tan Xiang.

"Yes! What's up Tan Xiang?" ask Ying Ying.

Tan Xiang's agitated facial expression made Ying Ying curious about what Tan Xiang was trying to convey.

"Miss Chang Le must not be the consort of Prince Wei Bu Yi" Tan Xiang said.

"Why?" ask Ying Ying.

"Tan Xiang was sure the Great Lord would attempt to have Emperor Wei call off this engagement," Tan Xiang replied.

"Why did you..dad want to cancel this engagement? What secrets are you hiding, Tan Xiang?" ask Ying Ying.

Tan Xiang knelt before Ying Ying and sobbed. "Tan Xiang doesn't want Miss Chang Le to die!" tan Xiang replied with a trembling voice.

Ying Ying stood up from the chair and pulled Tan Xiang away from kneeling before him.

"Sit down, Tan Xiang! Tell me everything you know! I can decide for myself the journey of my life!" said Ying Ying.

Tan Xiang sat beside Ying Ying, then wiped the tears on her cheeks with his hands.

"Actually Miss Chang Le became the 7th empress of Prince Wei Bu Yi!" tan Xiang said.

"7th Empress? Isn't it that Prince Wei Bu Yi can't give a descendant? Why do we have so many queens? Wait a minute! Shouldn't every prince have only one empress?"

Ying Ying asked Tan Xiang a question repeatedly.
