Concubine Ming Lan and the invited guests who were in the palace hall stared at Emperor Wei with a look of bewildered face. While Yang Kun, Yang Jian, and several other officials were gesturing for each other's eyes.
Wei Wu Xian stood up from his seat. Queen Wen's pale face made Wei Wu Xian worried.
"What's the father?" wei Wu Xian.
"Ask Queen Wen!" replied Emperor Wei with a firm voice.
"Mother?!"
"Emperor Wei! I didn't do anything. My hands are in a lot of pain right now" Queen Wen said in a tearful voice.
Emperor Wei gave a rude snort, then shouted in a loud voice.
"Tabib Chen! Check out Queen Wen's fake nails!"
Queen Wen's body trembled at Emperor Wei's words, while Physician Chen had already dashed over to Emperor Wei and Queen Wen.
Physician Chen removed the five fake nails from the fingers of Queen Wen's right hand and examined them thoroughly. Emperor Wei removed his hand from Queen Wen's wrist.
"Emperor Wei! One of these fake nails is in a secret chamber and contains an extract of black lotus petals" Physician Chen reported.

Physician Chen inserted a silver needle into the pearl soup. When the silver needle is removed, the silver needle tip is black.

Eunuch Cao took all the letters from Xu Feng and gave them to Emperor Wei. Emperor Wei's hands trembled as he read through the contents of the letter one by one.
