CHAPTER 4. First meeting

Ying Ying rested all day inside Li Chang Le's room to recover the weak body health from drowning in the water pond.

Tan Xiang faithfully guarded at Ying Ying's side. Ying Ying routinely drank the concocted herbal medicine Physician Chang cooked by Tan Xiang. 

For two consecutive days, every morning Chang Ru came to visit Ying Ying and brought her many of Chang Le's favorite little cakes.

Ying Ying pretended to forget his words during the wake, who said Chang Ru was a murderer. Ying Ying knew now was not the time to take revenge because her magic power was still not there. 

In addition, Wei Wu Xian was the crown prince of Wei Kingdom and became the most difficult enemy Ying faced.

For a time, Ying Ying held back and pretended to be stupid. Ying Ying must find the best plan to avenge Wei Wu Xian and Chang Ru.

Chang Ru was pleased that Ying Ying did not keep her distance anymore so took Ying Ying out for a walk in the city. Ying Ying did not refuse out of curiosity as to what the second plan of Chang Ru to harm Chang Le was.

As per Ying Ying's estimation, Chang Ru accidentally removed Tan Xiang from Ying Ying's side again like the incident on the night of the Moon Cake Festival. Two men appear to arrest Ying Ying and take her to a brothel.

The shrewd Ying Ying knew what a brothel meant while inside it.

"Chang Ru is so cruel, wanting to damage miss Chang Le's reputation so that she cannot become the crown princess," Inner Ying Ying.

Ever since Ying Ying found out Wei Wu Xian wanted Chang Le dead, Ying Ying had thought of a way to call off the engagement.

Ying Ying successfully fought the two men who kidnapped her and escaped from the brothel by jumping from the second floor.

"Aah!" ying Ying shouted loudly as she fell down.

A flash of black shadow flew towards Ying Ying and carried his body, then landed in front of the horse carriage.

Ying Ying breathed a sigh of relief from being saved and Chang Le's body was unharmed.

"My savior!" chang Le said excitedly as he hugged the man spontaneously.

"Prince!"

The two eunuch-clothed men saluted the man, who was hugging Ying Ying.

Ying Ying released a hug and looked at the man from head to toe, then turned towards the two eunuchs.

"Prince?" ask Ying Ying.

"Yes, young lady. Prince Wei Bu Yi saved the miss," replied one of the eunuchs.

Ying Ying and Wei Bu Yi looked at each other with different thoughts. Wei Bu Yi's expressionless cold face did not scare Ying Ying.

Ying Ying was curious about Wei Bu Yi's true identity because during her stay at General Li Jin's Residence, Ying Ying had never heard of the name of the man before her.

After all, Wei Bu Yi's appearance was very different from every person Ying Ying had ever seen in General Li Jin's Residence.

"Why is his hair gray? His face is still young. It might be the same age as Feng Xi or older than Feng Xi by a few years," Inner Ying Ying.

Although Ying Ying had only seen Feng Xi for a short period of time, but Ying Ying's memory of Feng Xi's face was very clear.

Moreover, Feng Xi often sent letters to Chang Le to inform them of their situation on the battlefield. Of course it was Tan Xiang who read the contents of the letter and Ying Ying joined in to hear it.

One of the men shouted from a distance as he saw Ying Ying standing in front of the horse carriage.

"Fucking girl! How dare you hit me!" 

Ying Ying immediately took refuge behind Wei Bu Yi's body. As the entourage of men from the brothel approached, with the intention to take Ying Ying away, they all kneeled down quickly.

"Sorry Prince Wei Bu Yi! We didn't know the prince was here!" 

"What's going on?" ask Wei Bu Yi. 

Wei Bu Yi's expressionless face and sharp gaze made the group of people from the brothel tremble.

"Bring this prince is great. Exceeding Wei Wu Xian's authority," Inner Ying Ying.

"What's his name?" wei Bu Yi asked in a flat voice.

"Na..the name is Xin Xin!"

Wei Bu Yi looked back. Both of Ying Ying's hands were still clutching Wei Bu Yi's clothes tightly. 

"Your name is Xin Xin?" wei Bu Yi asked in a flat tone.

Ying Ying shook his head strongly.

"My name is Ying Ying! My name is Chang Le. I'm General Li Jin's first daughter!"

"Damn it! Isn't he an idiot?" inner man from the brothel.

The man was frightened and lowered his head even further down. His friends do the same.

Wei Bu Yi faced forward. The experience of fighting so far made Wei Bu Yi able to guess exactly who was lying.

Ying Ying answered her question confidently and honestly, whereas the man was already trembling and sweating.

"Dare to lie to me?" ask Wei Bu Yi.

"Also prince! Servants are not brave! The girl lied!"

Chief Ying Ying peeked out from Wei Bu Yi's back and shouted loudly.

 "You're the one who lied!" 

Ying Ying hid again behind Wei Bu Yi's body after replying to the man's words.

The two eunuchs subordinate Wei Bu Yi smiled slightly at Ying Ying's innocent manner. And what was even more surprising to them was that Wei Bu Yi let Ying Ying hold onto her clothes for a long time. 

If anyone dared to touch Wei Bu Yi's clothes, then it was certain that the person's life was already lost. 

The two eunuchs felt that Ying Ying was very lucky to get special treatment from Wei Bu Yi.

"Da Duos!" 

Da Duo, the tall eunuch came forward as Wei Bu Yi called out to him. Da Duo faced towards the group of men who were kneeling in front of Wei Bu Yi.

"Young lady's clothes are made of expensive satin fabric. Jewelry in her hair real gold jewelry with carvings from famous craftsmen. How could she be the girl from your brothel?" asked Da Duo in a firm voice.

The short-bodied eunuch also advanced forward. "Guards! Arrest them and take them to jail to receive punishment for kidnapping!" 

"Also Prince! Forgive me!"

The few soldiers who were lined up behind the horse carriage came forward and carried out the orders of Xiao Duo, the small eunuch.

Da Duo and Xiao Duo were two eunuchs who always accompanied Wei Bu Yi. The two of them were Wei Bu Yi's right-hand man and confidant.
