Chapter 55 - The Lionting Mystery

The day began to change. It has now been two days since the birth of the Lord.

Zhang Me, who was asleep on a tree, has now been moved to an artificial hut made of several wooden trunks, twigs and leaves that became the roof.

Ertai chuckled small, he was not so heart-wrenching Fang Je said. He only thought that Fang Je's attitude was natural for a lover.

Before long Zhang Me moved by stretching his entire body while yawning with his eyes still closed.

Ertai and Fang Je fell silent and focused on gazing at Zhang Me's every move.

Zhang Me opened his eyes and sat down and said, "What's wrong?" zhang Me asked as he found Fang Je and Ertai's reaction to be laughable.

"Are you okay?" ask Fang Je.

Zhang Me frowned and said, "What do you mean? I'm not dead, just asleep..."

"But you slept for two days." said Ertai.

Zhang Me gawked at Ertai's words and then spread his gaze over the small, narrow hut about 2 meters high and filled with twigs and leaves hanging on the roof.

"Why did you fall asleep that long? Did something happen?" ask Fang Je.

"Of course, I just feel really tired and it feels like I've only been asleep for a few hours" Zhang Me replied.

"Hm, I want to ask you something." Zhang Me added hesitantly to Ertai.

"Just ask, I have no reason to reject you." said Ertai.

Zhang Me began to refine his sitting position while directing Ertai to get closer to him.

Ertai according to, he approached and sat down beside Fang Je while slightly looking up at Zhang Me who was sitting higher up on the rock.

"You're saying that I don't need to look for the existence of Divine Beasts because they're the ones who will come to me." Zhang Me and Ertai nodded their heads in agreement.

"Meanwhile you can also destroy this Dimensional Portal?" ask Zhang Me again.

Ertai paused for a moment and replied, "This is a different thing, we are not as strong as Divine Beasts. We can only rely on you" Ertai said as he stared at the lionting Zhang Me.

Zhang Me followed his gaze and remembered something, "Oh yes, how do you know if this lionting is a Dimensional Portal? And how do I use it?" zhang Me asked.

"For ordinary people it might be difficult to know if it's a Dimensional Portal but for me it's an easy thing and you just focus your mind on lionting it to use it" Ertai replied.

"Until now I still feel doubtful and curious about the mystery of this lionting." said Zhang Me holding a lionting gem made of jade and red pomegranate.

"Is there anything else you want to ask?" ertai asked Zhang Me who seemed to still hold a lot of questions.

"Where is the existence of the person who locked up the Divine Beast on the Dimensional Portal?" zhang Me asked hesitantly.

"I plan to meet him and ask him if he is able to create a Dimensional Portal to the realm of cultivators" Zhang Me replied.

"I guess he was able to do so, after all he was from the world of cultivators. According to rumors he is a Dimensional doorkeeper who has explored all dimensions..."

"And the Dimensional Portal where I and the other Beasts are locked is between the dimension of the world of cultivators and warriors" explained Ertai at length.

Zhang Me nodded in understanding as he thought of something, "If this Dimensional Portal can open towards the swordsman world means that there is a way to open the door to the cultivator's world." Zhang Me muttered in terror.

"But if you want we can meet him." said Ertai.

Zhang Me looked at Ertai with a serious and hopeful face, "Right? Do you know where she is?"

"A few years ago when he came, he said he wanted to travel to the southern Swordsman Continent. Although it's been a long time but there's no harm in us trying." continued Ertai.

"South Continent.." Zhang Me repeated.

"Is that a far away place?" ask Zhang Me.

"It's very far away and we can keep you company." replied Ertai.

"Of course, right now I need a directional guide, after all you won't agree if I leave it here." Zhang Me replied.

Ertai involuntarily smiled shyly at Zhang Me's words. He forgot the last time he smiled.

"Alright before that I want to try to open the Dimensional portal that is in this lionting and I need your direction" Zhang Me told Ertai.

Ertai nodded his ass and then started directing Zhang Me to close his eyes and act calm. Ertai told Zhang Me to focus his mind and soul completely at one point, the lionting.

Zhang Me who listened followed Ertai's direction until he felt something warm around his neck. The lionting that Zhang Me wore shone gave a response.

Ertai and Fang Je looked at each other in silence paying attention to Zhang Me's calm and comfortable expression.

Zhang Me opened his eyes. He was standing on a path and slowly began to walk forward to follow the path until he found a large golden door with a luxurious motif.

Then Zhang Me turned an object in the shape of a wheel that was attached to the middle of the door. He should immediately know the mystery hidden by this lionting, he thought.

Light shone when the door opened. With such great curiosity Zhang Me rushed in and found five doors smaller in size than the one before.

Zhang Me walked to the left side and tried to open the first door and all he got was a dense forest and it looked creepy.

Zhang Me exhaled his coarse breath, he felt lately he could not stop connecting with the forest.

But the forest is different from others, besides the trees of this forest does not have other signs of life such as animals or others and do not know how wide this forest is.

The not-so-interested Zhang Me closed the first door again then shifted to open the second door.

Zhang Me's smile flashed, his eyes sparkling happily and excitedly looking at the scene before him. He stepped in and around his body while circulating his gaze on the plants that were bearing much fruit.

The second door contains many types of fruit and vegetable plants, many of which are unknown to Zhang Me.

This situation made Zhang Me so excited that he accidentally sprained and fell.

"I can't wait to spend it all." she was in no pain, smiling happily as she licked her lips.

Zhang Me rose from the fall, he grabbed one fruit with a low tree. The fruit is small round and red in color.

Zhang Me impatiently put it straight into his mouth, "This is incredible! It's sweet and fresh!" zhang Me said happily and put the fruit back one by one into his mouth.

Not just there, though, Zhang Me harvested some of the fruit that made him interested and then ate it greedily until he was full and finally he immediately fell asleep with the remnants of the fruit scattered in front of him and forgot his purpose came.
