Chapter 41 - Tournament VII

Yin Yin Yin took over the show. He said that the remaining participants were 50 people and he also apologized for the incident in which two people were killed.

"I can't take my students getting killed!" shouted one of the old men from the audience seats.

All eyes were on him. It was clear on his face that the old man was holding back his anger.

"I can't help it anymore, the one who killed my disciple must die in my hands!"

The old man ran over quickly and walked over to Zhang Me and then pulled him into the fighting arena without the slightest refusal from Zhang Me.

"He is Long Kou!"

"He's an Elder of the Poisonous Mist Sect!"

"It turns out the girl who was killed was his student..."

The man turned out to be Long Kou who was an Elder of the Poisonous Fog Sect, one of the strongest Sects of the black stream that existed in the Qing Empire.

Yin Yin Yin walked up to Zhang Me and Long Kou and said, "Please, don't mess up this Tournament, you can't just be here..." reprimand Yin Yin tried to be as gentle as possible so as not to offend Long Kou.

Long Kou was once again startled, Zhang Me's words made Long Kou think that Zhang Me knew the secret of his student Lu Lua.

Long Kou fell silent, what Zhang Me said was true but he was not desperate, Long Kou tried to rack his brain to find out what way he should do to face Zhang Me.

Fan Wencheng who was one of the participants from the Poisonous Fog Sect immediately approached Long Kuo who did not stop laughing and brought him down to the fighting arena with an anxious look.

The judges whispered to each other about what happened to Long Kou because Long Kou was not a random person and had a background that made no one dare to offend him.

Other than the audience judges and everyone was so curious, what Zhang Me had done made Long Kuo not stop laughing.

He expressed his guilt over the pending Tournament. He also announced that the remaining 50 participants would be grouped into 10 groups with each containing 5 people in one group.

After the two groups faced each other in the fighting arena, the first group fight began.

No one responded until one of the disciples of the Crescent Moon Sect attacked first.

Tensions began to linger in the audience including the judges who hoped that participants from their Sects could show their best and make them proud.

A fierce fight ensued but the most attention-grabbing was the fight between the twins Pa Chin and Pe Chin and the two men from the White Orchid Sect.

The two participants from the White Orchid Sect felt overwhelmed. The two of them continued to attack Pa Chin but Pe Chin who was a long-range fighter always managed to land arrows on their bodies.

Switching to Hui Xin who was fighting one of the participants from the Crescent Moon Sect and Mi Yue who was fighting an unincorporated man from any Sect.

In their fight, Hui Xin often helped Mi Yue so that she became more frequent in getting attacks from the opponent.

And the latter was the short-haired sweet girl who came from the Blue Lake Sect who was fighting a handsome man who came from the Crescent Moon Sect.

They cast sharp glances at each other making the atmosphere around them change instantly.

Zhang Me who watched the match also felt a very drastic change when the two faced off.

Not long before they looked at each other until they finally exchanged attacks. Their movements were extremely fast, only a few could see their every move.

The first group fight did not last long because Pe Chin as a long-range fighter helped his group by attacking other groups using his favorite arrows.

The second fight was between groups three and four. The second battle is not so interesting because the participants who belong to each group look amateur in fighting.

Fighting between groups continues until the time comes when the group who will do the last fight stands on the arena of battle.

One of the groups that were already above the arena was Zhang Me's group, Lang Yizo, two men from the Snow Mountain Sect and one more man who was from the Blue Lake Sect.

And their opponents were two sweet-haired Red and Silver-haired girls who came from the Silver Rose Sect, one from the Toxic Mist Sect as well as two men who belonged to the small Sect.

"You take it easy I will protect you." whispered Lang Yizo in Zhang Me's ear.

Zhang Me frowned while moving away from Lang Yizo as he was disgusted by his attitude making Lang Yizo moody from getting such treatment from Zhang Me.

After the match had started, Lang Yizo immediately blocked the man who wanted to attack Zhang Me, Fan Wencheng.

Fan Wencheng intended to retaliate against Zhang Me for treating his teacher badly.

"You stay here and don't go anywhere." said Lang Yizo.

Without replying to anything Zhang Me really just silently stood up without doing anything making his group friends stare cynically.

"What did that girl do? Look, he's making the others bother while he's just standing still doing nothing..."

"The girl did her best..."

"She even made the second prince just protect her and fight it all..."

"A troublesome girl..."

Various responses now began to appear to Zhang Me who actually did not care about it.

"Are you going to keep hiding and hiding here?"

Yang became Lang Yizo's opponent was quite surprised to see Lang Yizo's change. Now his movements became faster and various attacks he threw.

"Is he your lover?"

"It's lucky you got him hooked on you..."

Zhang Me did not reply, he simply fell silent and showed his flat expression.

"Alright miss Zhang Me, my name is Wang Shu, I am a disciple of the Silver Rose Sect and will be your opponent this time..."
