Chapter 54 - The Ruler

The golden bowl glowed as the black stone was placed on it by Zhang Me.

Along with the golden color the Stone emits Red, Grey, Green, and Black colored rays that fill the entire Goa.

Those outside Goa are fascinated when they see the beautiful colors that stick out Goa and then exorbitant. In addition, the pressure around them has changed drastically.

Return to Zhang Me who was just acting ordinary and lazily touched the chest intending to open it.

But before he opened it, the casket cover opened itself when Zhang Me had just touched his skin on the crate.

Zhang Me did not reply, he simply turned his gaze into the crate and was followed by Ertai.

"What's really going on? What's wrong?" ertai asked alternately turning his gaze towards Zhang Me and into the chest.

"You said that the Chest contained the corpse of the Divine Beast Master." Zhang Me and Ertai nodded.

"How can a child who is not even 5 years old become a ruler?" zhang Me asked angrily.

The chest contained the body of a person, but Zhang Me never thought it was the body of a toddler boy.

"You're right that he was a child, which is why he was easily killed but he wasn't 5 years old but 200 years old when he was killed" Ertai said.

Zhang Me was stunned to hear Ertai's explanation. The little boy was even far beyond his age, "Didn't this make no sense?" zhang Me muttered however could still be heard by Ertai.

"You must know that the development of the Divine Beast is very much different from humans in general" said Ertai.

"He was born from the blood of the four Divine Beasts, which is why his development also followed the development of the Divine Beast."

"I'm so clueless about all this" Zhang Me said as he massaged his forehead softly.

"You touched him." before Zhang Me asked, Ertai made it clear first.

Simultaneously, the black stone laid by Zhang Me also changed shape into a diamond with four colors.

Fang Je who had witnessed the phenomenon was amazed and astonished when all the animals in the forest without exception began kneeling on the ground.

Before long the diamond broke into four pieces and a large ball of light appeared and the broken diamond surrounded the ball of light from four sides.

Then a ball of light and diamond shards were seen coming together and slowly descending and entering Zhang Me's body.

"Ahk! What are you doing to me?!" zhang Me shouted still in pain.

Fang Je became panicked and worried to see Zhang Me in pain and made him grab Zhang Me's body and keep him away from Ertai.

Then Zhang Me lost his consciousness and almost fell to the ground if Fang Je did not spare his body.

"What have you done?!" fang Je asked angrily at Ertai.

Ertai casually replied, "It seems like his body needs an adjustment."

Only briefly did Zhang Me lose his consciousness and re-awaken. As soon as he opened his eyes he spread his gaze staring at the whole animal kneeling down and even the plants bowing down to him.

"What's going on?" zhang Me asked Ertai who was kneeling before him.

"Now you are the Lord of the Divine Beasts." replied Ertai.

"Either lucky or not but the events that took place hundreds of years ago were recorded in my head and it was very similar to the events I had always dreamed of where all the animals asked me for help." Zhang Me replied.

"But to be honest, I don't understand the Master what exactly do you mean?"

"I have no idea what a Divine Beast is? How do they form and where do they come from?"

Ertai nodded, he understood Zhang Me's ignorance and finally he started explaining.

Divine Beasts were existences that were melagenda at the moment due to his existence that no one knew about.

Divine Beasts there were 4 namely, Qing Longdan Dragon, Demon Tiger, Red Fox and Element Phoenix.

The first, the Qing Longdan Dragon was a blue and green colored dragon, had seven heads, four legs and two wings as well as had horns. The Shen Long Dragon is a weather-regulating dragon, capable of controlling clouds, wind and rain.

Qing Longdan symbolized Victory and luxury that could also be interpreted as an unparalleled power.

Then the Demon Tiger, a tiger that has a deep black and snake-tailed named Xi Fang, is known for its strength and courage and leadership that is able to make anyone submit.

Next up was the Red Fox named Xuan Wudan. It is an eleven-tailed Red Fox. It has the ability to suck up the life force of a human and even eat its flesh.

Thus Xuan Wudan could have all the memories, knowledge and human forms eaten by him. The older Xuan Wudan was, the stronger he would become.

After obtaining a lifetime from humans, it will grow an extra tail for every 100 years of age. Another ability of Xuan Wudan is being able to possess humans.

And the last one was the Phoenix element, named Zhu Que. It is a bird that has a large body so that when flying it will cover the sun. It has four wings, a long neck as well as an entire body covered in dense fur.

Zhu Que was the leader of the most powerful Divine Beast or Beast. Zhu Que can control the elements of fire, water, air and earth. Zhu Que symbolizes long life, cleverness and purity.

Ertai also added that the ages of the four Divine Beasts had already reached thousands of years.

Zhang Me listened to Ertai's explanation seriously while trying to digest each word.

Ertai paused for a moment and said, "And the diamond that splits into four and enters your body is the core of the four Divine Beasts" he said.

"Then the ball of light?" zhang Me asked curiously.

"The ball of light is a sign that you have blood as the next Sovereign" replied Ertai.

"I thought you were one of the Divine Beasts" Zhang Me said.

"We are only the Beast of the Beast who is a loyal follower of the Divine Beast or it could be said we are their right hand so we are entrusted to guard the coffin of the Sovereign and seek the Next Sovereign." ertai.

"How old are you?" zhang Me asked Ertai.

"It has reached thousands of years." replied Ertai without moving a single bit from his kneeling position.

"Are Divine Beasts also able to turn into humans like you?" ask Zhang Me again.

"Of course."

Zhang Me nodded as he pointed at the thoughtful looking expression and said, "Where am I going to find them?"

"You don't have to look for him, they're the ones who will come and see you" Ertai replied.

"How is that possible?"

"The Birth of the Next Sovereign will be known to the Divine Beast himself." replied Ertai.

"Are you and the Divine Beasts from the Cultivator world?" zhang Me asked a guess.

Ertai nodded and said, "How do you know about the world of cultivators?" ask Ertai.

"I'm from there." Zhang Me replied.

"Has right, I myself would feel quite surprised if the next Ruler comes from the Swordsman world." replied Ertai.

Zhang Me could only sigh roughly because he had not even been able to return to the world of cultivators yet something that existed from the world of Cultivators always came to him. However this was also an opportunity that he could utilize in order to return to the world of cultivators.

"The most important thing." said Ertai.

"Let us serve you and take us with you!" yell Ertai Hard.

"Take us with you!" all of them kneeled in worship to Zhang Me.

Zhang Me turned his head to look at Fang Je who was also looking at him with an expression of shock, confusion and curiosity.

"How is it possible? If hundreds like you guys are coming with me then it will really attract the attention of people." Zhang Me said as everyone fell silent waiting for his reply.

"Why are you worried? You can even move an entire forest into your dimensional portal." said Ertai.

Zhang Me frowned cluelessly, "What do you mean?"

Ertai raised his head that had lowered his head and turned to look at the lionting perched on Zhang Me's neck making Zhang Me follow the direction of his gaze.

Zhang Me still did not understand he looked at Ertai questioningly.

"Don't tell me if you don't know at all that lionting is a Dimensional portal?" tanya Ertai made sure.

Zhang Me glared in surprise, from what Ertai said he did not expect that the lionting that made him curious was the Dimensional portal.

Zhang Me became suspicious that the one who brought him to this world was the lionting. The proof of the same lionting still remains on him even though he has come into this world.

"I can't accept any of this at all, can you leave me alone?" pinta Zhang Me, he just needs to calm down.

Ertai nodded fulfilling his wish and asked all the beasts to go with him leaving Zhang Me and Fang Je.

After the departure of all of them, Zhang Me instantly yawned while smiling mischievously at Fang Je.

"You know? I'm so sleepy so let me take a little nap" Zhang Me said, jumping up a tree.

Fang Je opened his mouth shut but no words managed to come out of his lips. He thought that Zhang Me was very shocked by all this but it turned out that Zhang Me only reasoned to be able to sleep. From this he felt that he had yet to truly know Zhang Me.
