Chapter 48 - New Problems

The morning sun had appeared and filled the entire place the sign of the day had changed.

Each person begins to return to their regular activities. Including Gazuura members who every morning will hold exercises in the morning. 

The newly awakened Zhang Me stared at all the Gazuura members who were training from above the tree. Last night he chose to sleep on a tree that grew in front of Gazuura headquarters.

Zhang Me's completely uncollected life caused him to fall back asleep and unknowingly fall from the top of a tree.

Gazuura members who were busy practicing were shocked to hear the loud noise that Zhang Me's body produced when it came into contact with the ground.

"Queen!" suddenly everyone shouted when they saw Zhang Me and immediately approached.

An anxious expression was clearly visible on the faces of Shen Zue and all of Gazuura's members when he saw Zhang Me unconscious with a body filled with blood.

"Queen! Be aware!"

"What happened to the queen?"

"Who would dare to do this to her?"

The three generals who were in hiding and were always watching Zhang Me at all times could only laugh at the worried look of everyone. They clearly knew what made Zhang Me's body filled with a lot of blood.

With an innocent face Zhang Me stood up and looked in astonishment at everyone and said, "What are you guys doing? Why do you look sad?"

"Queen, tell me who made you this way?" ask Shen Zue.

"What do you mean?" ask Zhang Me.

Shen Zue stared at Zhang Me's blood-soaked body making Zhang Me follow his gaze.

"Oh, this blood..."

"Just calm down, this is not my blood." Zhang Me explained.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief after hearing Zhang Me's statement and resumed their morning activities.

Zhang Me himself re-entered Gazuura headquarters and climbed the top floor where Mi Yue and Fang Je were.

He could see Fang Je standing up while leaning against the wall and closing his eyes.Seeing that Zhang Me let him and approached Mi Yue who had awoken from his nightmare.

In Mi Yue's mind was wondering what now she had been in another world? But his question was instantly answered as his gaze caught on Zhang Me's presence.

Mi Yue who could not move nor let out her voice in the slightest could only stare at Zhang Me with a sad look.

"Do you want to say something?" zhang Me asked as he touched Mi Yue's head.

Immediately Mi Yue felt relieved as if her burden disappeared after Zhang Me touched her head.

Mi Yue got up and sat down near Zhang Me and said, "Why am I still alive?" asked Mi Yue.

Zhang Me smiled and said, "What do you mean? Don't expect me to just kill you."

"You haven't even answered my question" he added.

Without waiting for long Mi Yue immediately explained that everything that happened and was done was on the orders of the empress Lu Zhi who knew that Zhang Me was still alive and stranded in the swordsman world therefore the empress sending Mi Yue and his comrades to kill Zhang Me.

Mi Yue said everything quickly and after that she closed her eyes. He would rather die than have to accept the torture from Zhang Me as he did last night.

"It looks like you're dying to be gone" said Zhang Me.

Mi Yue opened her eyes, she looked around and all over her body. He is still alive, not broken as he thought.

"How is that possible?"

It should have been that Mi Yue had already been crushed to pieces by telling Zhang Me because actually empress Lu Zhi had put something in the heart of Mi Yue and her comrades where the thing was about to explode and destroy their whole bodies if they reveal the truth or betray it.

"What do you think I did to you last night? I destroyed your heart and replaced it with the girl's" Zhang Me said, picturing Lu Lua's face.

Mi Yue glared her eyes, she was certainly there and saw the incident when Zhang Me took Lu Lua's heart. But he never thought that the heart would be his. Everything had been arranged by Zhang Me from the very beginning.

"I don't know what you mean by doing this but I'm grateful that you saved my life."

"You must do whatever I tell you to."

Mi Yue looked at Zhang Me deeply, all this time he had been tormented to be empress Lu Zhi's errand girl but fate said something else and gave him no choice but to return to be the errand boy who was even more terrible than Empress Lu Zhi.

"I'll do it." agreed Mi Yue. He could not deny that he still wanted to live his life.

"Tell me who is Lu Zhi's consort? As I recall the empress is only my mother." asked Zhang Me.

Mi Yue recounted that Empress Lu Zhi was King Zhang Jae Do's first concubine who had now risen in rank after the death of Empress Ning Xiang, Zhang Me's biological mother.

Mi Yue also added that Empress Ning Xiang's death occurred due to the chaos deliberately planned by concubine Lu Zhi to eliminate Empress Ning Xiang and her descendants Zhang Me and Zhang Tingyu, respectively, brother Zhang Me.

"So that's why you were sent here knowing I'm alive?" zhang Me asked and replied with a nod.

"So is my older brother, Zhang Tingyu dead?"

Mi Yue shook her head and said, "Lucky the prince managed to survive the war but until now empress Lu Zhi is still trying to eliminate him."

"Alright, now send her a signal." Zhang Me asked.

"He asked us to take your head."

"Totally, you just say after killing me you didn't have time to take my head because a group of people suddenly attacked you and caused both of your comrades to be killed" Zhang Me suggested.

Mi Yue seemed to think, she understood Zhang Me's intentions but the empress would not easily believe it if she did not have proof that Zhang Me was truly dead.

"If it were like that I would pretend to be dead and come with you" Zhang Me said.

"No way, the empress will know if you're alive when you send us back."

"You're a real hassle..."

"I don't accept any excuses, you should go back now then remain the subordinate of empress Lu Zhi and you should always protect my elder brother Zhang Tingyu."

"Didn't you want to go back?" asked Mi Yue.

"Of course I'll be back." Zhang Me replied.

He then walked towards Fang Je and woke him up, "You can go get some rest" Zhang Me said and walked out.

Fang Je opened his eyes, he looked at Zhang Me's passed back meaningfully then turned to look at Mi Yue. Actually Fang Je did not fall asleep, he just closed his eyes and heard all the talk of Zhang Me and Mi Yue.
