The Lord Of The Mysteries

The Lord Of The Mysteries
Chapter 53's

An ancient three-masted sailboat is navigating through a turbulent storm at sea.

It was not fast and the displacement was lacking. With the weather and the sea looking like a scene of disaster, the sailboat was like a withered leaf separated from its tree. However, regardless of how the typhoon raged or how frightening the waves were, it continued sailing peacefully without any signs of tilting.

Alger Wilson stood on an empty deck as he looked at the huge waves that resembled mountains. His mind is a mystery.

It will be Monday again.

It was Mother Earth's day, the beginning of a series of waxing and waning.

However, it meant something different to Algeria. It belonged to a mysterious existence that was forever shrouded in a grayish-white mist.

At least I haven't been a lunatic. He stopped looking around laughing at himself.

At this moment, one of the few sailors whom he bowed and asked respectfully, "Your Majesty, where are we going this time?"

The Algerian observed his surroundings and said in a calm voice, "Pursue the Hearers of the Order of Aurora."

The storm subsided as the fog gushed. On a strange sailboat with cannons on it, an eight or nine-year-old boy with soft yellow hair was looking at the pirates around him with fear. They did not orderly—ada who enjoyed the beer, some swung by the rope, others mocked each other, and some even fought with their fists.

He turned around to see a black-robed man standing in the shadows. He pressed his voice and asked, "Dad, where are we going?"

Five days ago was the first time he had seen his father, a father who claimed to be an adventurer.

If it wasn't for the oil painting left behind by his late mother that confirmed his father's identity and the fact that the orphanage had opened the door for him, he is completely unwilling to leave his hometown and follow his only relative who is also almost foreign.

The man in the shadows lowered his head and looked at his son. With a friendly expression, he replied, "Jack, I'll take you to the holy place, the sacred abode where the Creator once lived."

"Is that the Kingdom of Gods? We humans can only enter by winning His grace.." Jack has been well educated by his mother and knows this much. He was shocked and scared about this matter.

Standing in the shadows, the man had an unforgettable jaw as if he was a sculpture sculpted by the best craftsmen.

He put his hand to his ear and made a listening pose. He replied in a tone that sounded like he was talking while sleeping, "Jack, humans are a wrong concept. The Creator created this world and He is everywhere. He is in every living creature. Therefore, all beings have a divinity. Once the lordship reaches a certain level, they can become angels. These current false gods are only powerful angels.

"Listen, now I can hear the teachings of the Creator. How wonderful is this revelation! Life is just a tour of spirits. When the spirit is strong enough and resilient enough, we can discover our divinity and fuse with even more divinity. …"

Jack could not understand the complicated description. He shook his head and asked another question that he had not previously been able to ask.

"Dad, I heard from Mother that after the Creator created this world, He was divided into all beings and did not exist in reality. Why does His holy house exist?"

As a child of seven to eight years old, he was logical.

The man with the sculpted face was shocked. He turned his head as if he was listening to more murmurs.

Suddenly, he slumped down, knees on the deck. His exposed skin highlighted black shards.

He clenched his head with both hands as his expression changed and he cried out in pain, "They're lying!"

After lunch, after Old Neil promised him that he would take him to the underground market the next time he left, Klein slowly returned to the Blackthorn Security Company. He chose two options of reading documents in the staff office and training his abilities or taking the opportunity to go out and act as a Divination Club fortune teller before Captain Dunn stopped him.

However, before he could make a decision, he saw Dunn Smith enter. He was wearing an ordinary black jacket and a halved hat.

"Captain, any updates?" Klein thought of the whereabouts of the Antigonus family notebook as he asked with concern.

Without showing any signs of exhaustion in his gray eyes, Dunn said, "The fact has been confirmed that the Antigonus family notebook is in Ray Bieber's hands. However, he had disappeared completely.

"i've informed the various Nighthawk teams about this matter via telegram. They were asked to pay attention to various piers and steam locomotive stations. The first wave print portraits were sent out yesterday afternoon and will be printed in various major newspapers. ."

It would be nice if there was a phone, fax machine, surveillance camera, and big data. I know how to use everything and even understand a bit of the logic behind it. Klein sighed in silence.

Sealed Artifacts Grade 2. Dangerous. Klein had originally wanted to ask about the Closed Artifact, its special abilities, and the danger it posed out of curiosity, but he immediately remembered that he did not have the necessary permission. He had no choice but to give up.

"May the Goddess bless us." Klein tapped on the four dots on his chest, forming a full moon mark.

Dunn pushed the door to his office and said with a slight nod, "The goddess always protects us. Klein, if you do not choose Seer, you will become a formal member once the matter is verified. You can choose Sleepless, but honey, frankly, I'm still confused about your choice. Although the Corpse Collector is quite disappointing, you have also seen Daly. You should know that Spirit Medium is different in strength. As for Mystery Pryers, they were also a good choice. At the very least, you have Old Neil as a role model, so he'll make sure the risk of losing control is minimized."

In regards to this question, Klein had prepared an answer from the very beginning. He never had a chance to use it because Dunn didn't ask. He could only answer in passing.

He arranged his words and said, "My consideration comes from the fact that the Mystery Seers and Levers are considered Beyonders with supporting roles. They didn't need to always face the enemy because it was too dangerous. And you and Old Neil said that in the domain of mysteries and Beyonders, curiosity and experimentation usually bring frightening results. Describing the Mystery Pryers as a mystery gouger worries me, so .. Heh, as you know, I was just a regular graduate not too long ago. Lack of guts was the only reason I made such a choice."

"i must say that this is a very reasonable answer that goes beyond my expectations." Dunn massaged her temple and chuckled.

He turned around half as his gray eyes assessed Klein.

"Continue going out now. Don't limit yourself to the footpath from Welch to Iron Cross Street. Maybe you can get a feel for that notebook and help us pinpoint Ray Bieber's location."

"Good." Klein realized that he no longer needed to be in a dilemma.

He said goodbye to Dunn and turned around, his heart began to count.

Three, two…

"Wait," cried Dunn.

Klein looked over and smiled.

"Captain, is there anything else?"

Dunn coughed slightly and said, "Well, the supportive Beyonder must fight their enemies from time to time. Although the Diviners sounded like they could avoid such a battle, they should not be ignored. You must maintain your shooting skills and work to improve your abilities.strength."

"This is what I'm trying so hard to do." Klein pointed outside. "I'm going to go."

"alright. Uh, wait a minute." Dunn yelled at him once more. As he pondered, he said, "Maybe I should consider hiring a combat trainer for you. Of course, the matter is with the premise that you become a formal member."

Klein replied briefly before asking carefully, "Captain, is there anything else?"

"No." Looking at Klein's incredulous eyes, Dunn shook his head and smiled. He stressed again, "Really, nothing."

Only then did Klein walk past the partition divider. He bid farewell to Rozanne and Mrs Orianna and headed to the Shooting Club for practice.

After all this was done, he went to the Divination Club and saw the beautiful Angelica standing there reading the newspaper casually.

"Home".. Klein secretly read. With a cane in hand, he walked over and greeted with a smile,

"Good day, Miss Angelica."

"Good day, Mr. Moretti." Not in a hurry, Angelica put down her magazine. He stood up and said, "Not long after you left yesterday, Mr. Glacis came. He just recovered from a severe illness."

Klein sighed in relief as he smiled.

"It must be something worth celebrating."

After hearing this, Angelica, who was quietly observing him, lowered her voice and asked out of curiosity,

"Mrs. Glacis said that you were a very, very, very magical doctor. Really true?"

Whahuh? Klein looked at the woman in front of him, suspicious of whether she heard anything.

What makes him think I'm a doctor?

I don't even know …
