Chapter 3: The Lightning-Finger, Sharken AquaBuster (Part 2)

Yuko attempts to get to Yuji, but Sharken and her narwhal are darting right in front of her, stopping her steps.

"Don't come any closer if you don't want me to tear you apart, ma'am!!" sharken.

As if not satisfied, Sharken and the narwhal again attacked Yuji from the left. Furious, Yuji catches the narwhal's fang and throws the narwhal with his rider. The rider who was none other than Sharken managed to get his balance back, but the narwhal fared less well. Before he managed to get his balance, his body first hit the cluster of asteroids.

"DAMN YOU!! YOU KILLED MY PARTNER!!!! Magic: Summon: Ferocious Shark!!" Sharken exclaimed furiously, then he brought up dozens of sharks that immediately attacked Yuji and Yuko.

As if not to lose, Yuji also used his Summon magic.

"Magic: Summon: Darkness Knights!!"

Dozens of knights in jet black armor and armed with swords appeared and immediately attacked Sharken's sharks. The battle ensued and ended without a winner. All the sharks and knights were gone.

"Damn!! In that case, I'll have to intervene myself!!" sharken said with annoyance. He immediately raised two narwhal fangs and grasped them.

"You're going to be ruined!!" yuji exclaimed as he raised two black-colored sword blades and grasped them with both hands.

They were moving in opposite directions. Their battle proceeded at the speed of sound to the point of being invisible. In this fight, Yuji pretends to be overwhelmed to the point of being desperate. Sharken was completely unaware of Yuji's plan and kept pressing on him.

"Haha!! Die you!!" sharken shouted while swinging his knife to finish off Yuji. But Yuji quickly uses his magic to paralyze Sharken.

"Magic: Darkness!!"

Before Sharken could realize it, his body had been bound by Yuji's black tendrils. Quickly, Yuji thrust his sword into Sharken's chest until it pierced through his heart.

"W-what?! How ... you can ...."

Yuji smiled as he looked at Sharken.

"Yes, I pretended to be desperate for you to let your guard down so that I could use some paralyzing magic against you," Yuji said.

Sharken smiled wryly, as if laughing at his stupidity. "You managed to win from me, Yuji. However, you won't be able to defeat the mythological creatures that guard the CoAR. To date, no witch has managed to get it. That ridiculous dream of yours will never come true! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

After saying that, Sharken breathed his last breath. Yuji sighed as he pulled out his sword and obliterated the sword. He looked at Sharken's floating body.

"Even until the last moment of his life, he insisted on being on the wrong side" he said.

Sontak Yuji turned to the direction where the scream came from. A woman was running towards him. Yes, that woman is Yuko.

"You all right? I'm sorry, I couldn't help you in that fight."

"Don't worry, I'm fine. It's just– ugh!!"

Yuji had not yet finished his words, the wound on his left shoulder throbbed again, creating a great pain.

"Damn!!" gerutu Yuji while bringing up the Dimensional Storage Gate.

"Let me, please" Yuko said as she put her right hand into the Dimensional Storage Gate and picked up the Ultimate Healing Potion, then pulled her right hand out and thrust the Ultimate Healing Potion into Yuji. Yuji immediately took the healing potion and drank it to the end. Slowly, the hole in his left shoulder shrank until it finally vanished unceasingly. The same thing happened with a scratch on his right shoulder.

"Thank you, Yuko," Yuji said as he handed Yuko the glass bottle. "Let's continue our journey."

"Don't push yourself too much, Yuji," Yuko said with a worried face.

"Don't worry, my injuries have recovered and my stamina has returned" Yuji said with a smile. A moment later, the smile was replaced by a serious face. "After all, we don't have much time."

Yuji immediately holds Yuko's hand and uses her Ultra Speed magic.

"Magic: Ultra Speed!!"

The two of them shot out at the speed of sound, breaking through the boundary of the universe. Arriving outside the Magus universe, they were greeted by a tense scene of war.

Thousands of witches are fighting a giant creature. The creature has a white horse head, a rhino body, a pair of eagle wings, a pair of wings made of fire, a shark tail, and black tiger legs with blue patches.

"It is only fitting that on the way we do not cross paths with many witches, apparently we go first" said Yuji.

"First? Is that creature ...." Yuko's words were cut.

"Yes, you're right" Yuji said. "The creature is the guardian of the CoAR, the mythological creature that is said to be invincible, Elemental!!"
