The Legend of the Twin Multiversal Gods

The Legend of the Twin Multiversal Gods
Chapter 14: The Palace Gate

The lightning struck once more. Lightning streaked across the sky like a golden dragon speed equivalent to light. The dense gray clouds still shade the city of Rainzar, even getting thicker.

*clak!!*

*clak!!* *clak!!*

A drop of clear liquid fell onto the surface of Rainzar city, followed by two other droplets. The number of drops of water that fall continues to increase, until finally the number can no longer be counted. Heavy rain is pouring down on the city of Rainzar. The Lightning flashed as fast as the light in space once again, followed by the thunderous sound, shaking the earth. A scene suitable for the headquarters of a main antagonist.

In the middle of the rainy road, two young men passed by. Each young man carried a sword wrapped in a sheath. Two living skulls flanked them. The clothes, hair, and body of the two young men were drenched. However, they seemed to be completely unconcerned about it. They continued to tread, treading the slippery and inundated streets of the rain with great care, passing through buildings, jet-black warriors, and living skulls. The streets appear dark due to thick dark black clouds that shade the city of Rainzar.

"At that time we arrive, Gen's brother and Yuto's brother. Be prepared." One of the skulls lived while looking at the two young men he escorted. Right at that moment, lightning crossed the sky once more, followed by thunder that boomed a few seconds later. The lightning struck the face of the living skull, making it look twice as terrifying as before. His eye cavity which contained only a speck of fiery red light blended with his stiff jaw and was unable to express, creating a dark aura that made the golden-haired youth of — Gen — shudder in horror for a moment.

Meanwhile, the dark-black-haired young man — Yuto — seemed unaffected in the slightest by the face of the living skull illuminated by lightning. He nodded his head slowly while continuing to maintain his face that had no expression at all. "Yes," he said.

The four men looked straight. Slowly, a shower of rainwater that blocked the eyes was opened, revealing a giant wall painted black with a gate no less large. The pitch-black wall was decorated with blood-red motifs, looking like symbols or writing in Ancient Egypt.

Just when the four men were only a meter away from the gate, a fiery red magic circle appeared right in front of the gate.

"Yes" said one of the living skulls. "Let me handle it." The skull advanced forward and faced the magic barrier, then began to speak a language that Gen and Yuto did not understand.

"Es tres vorastun vroma tenebris, zum wris arawasuz tras tenebris. Tenebris von ruzdoras. LERESTO TRES INRASTO, SIRAS ANCIENTOZ ES TENEBRIS!!!"

(TN: The meaning is: 'They come from darkness, and will always be in darkness. Open the gate of darkness. LET THEM IN, DEAR DARK ANCESTORS!!!' (It's a mixture of Latin, English, and ngawur language made by the author himself :v))

Right after the living skull said the word 'Tenebris', the fiery red magic circle vanished without a trace, followed by the opening of the pitch-black giant gate, as if it were an automatic gate.

"Thank you, Altz" Gen said with a smile.

"Not a problem." The living skull called Altz spoke out kindly. Even so, his face that was not covered by flesh or muscles remained expressionless. That is natural, because his stiff jaw makes it difficult for him to sing a smile. "Let's go in, Gen's brother and Yuto's brother."

"Well," Gen and Yuto said simultaneously.
