The sun had just appeared on the horizon, emitting its bright light, casting off the pitch-black darkness of the night. The birds chirped in melodious manner as they flew from one tree to another. The red color of dawn still dyed the sky. The clouds began to change color from gray to reddish. A reddish light befell the Zen Village.
In front of a house that was not too big, four witches were standing. They looked like two children who were saying goodbye to their parents.
"Be careful on the road, son," said the mother.
"Okay, ma'am," said the youngest. The morning breeze blew away the dark black strands of his bangs.
"Thank you for taking care of us all this time, father, mother," said the eldest.
The couple nodded with a friendly smile. "It's our obligation to fulfill the last request of your biological parents, Gen, Yuto," the father said.
"Even if you are not our birth parents, we will always love you like our own biological parents. Thank you for everything. From now on, don't worry about us anymore. We go first, okay?" Unwittingly, tears welled up in the corner of the elder's eyes and flowed down his cheeks. The longer the harder it is.
"Yes, I will always miss you." The mother also shed tears. "Go home when your destiny mission is over. The door of this house will always be open for you."
The youngest - named Yuto - nodded slowly. For the first time, a smile was etched on his face. The figure of Yuto who had been known by his family, who was cold and stiff, had disappeared, was replaced by the figure of a friendly young man. "Make sure good food is always available at home for us, ma'am" he said.
"Hey, you're this. Our destiny mission is not yet complete. Masa' You've been thinking about food?" said the eldest, Gen, while pinching Yuto's head. Yuto grimaced softly while smiling. Both of their parents were smiling. For the first time, the stiffness disappeared from the interaction between the brothers. Now, they look familiar like brothers in general.
"This is stock for you. It's not much, but hopefully can remove your longing for the atmosphere of this house." The mother said while taking out two boxes of stock wrapped in cloth.
The firstborn's hand stretched out to receive the package. "Thank you, ma'am" he said.
The twin brothers turned their bodies around. "We go first, yes," said the youngest, smiling and looking back, and then they started to step.
Gen and Yuto looked back. "Yes?"
"Never give up, and don't let you die in the middle of a fate mission!!!" The father exclaimed as he thrust his fist into the air.
The brothers nodded. "Well, well," they said in unison before finally darting as fast as sound, leaving the courtyard of the house.
"Can they do it?" The mother muttered with a worried tone.
"Don't worry." The father held his wife's shoulder. "They're great kids. We have to believe them."
The mother nodded with a smile. "You're right."
"The future of the witch race .. is in the hands of both of them ...."
