Nana again led the way with a hologram in her hand. We climbed the stairs to the second floor. Keep walking straight in the corridor. Nana stopped in front of one of the rooms.
“Isn't this the room we just entered?” Arthur looked at Nana in wonder.
“But this room shown by map. We check once again.” Nana walked in. The room was dark as usual. Mannequins and coffins remained unmoved.
“There is nothing in this room other than coffins and mannequins.”
“What is this including instructions?” I glanced at the picture I had met on the wall.
“Relief?” Layla tilted her head, correcting the position of her glasses.
“First picture, Look! It's a picture of a box. Then the picture next to him, the second picture, there was a little boy running towards the box. Then the last picture of the little boy opens the box.” Arthur saw the picture.
“Wait, isn't the picture of the little boy similar to the little boy we met in the forest earlier?” Nana walked closer to the wall.
“So the keyword is small child?” Arthur frowning. Layla shakes.
“The keyword is that box, because the first image only has a box.” Layla showed the first picture to her left.
“Box?” Arthur frowned more and more at the fold on his forehead. Layla is back.
“There are no puzzles that are that easy as Arthur. The question is, where did the box come from? Who gave it? What'sthat's it? All of this remains a mystery. We can only guess. Is that a trap? Or maybe it's something else?” Layla again fixed the position of her glasses. Layla's condition is better now.
“That's it!” Nana walked over to Layla.
“Something! The keyword is something.”
“Hah?” Arthur gawking.
“No one knows–” Nana's sentence stops when she hears the sound of falling objects behind her. Nana turned right, walked up to the wall. I'm catching.
On the floor, a hologram card was placed. There is a ‘ keyword: SOMETHING’. I saw the smile of the sumringah Nana who was staring happily at the hologram card.
“Yosh!” Nana stood up, staring at us one by one.
“But you haven't finished explaining it. How can the keyword be something?” Arthur whining.
“Will I explain later. For now we collect all the keywords.” Nana walked out of the room.
“Actually what is this place? From the outside this place looks very ancient, but actually this place has more advanced technology compared to our place.” Arthur looked at the ceiling of the room.
“The key word is in the form of a picture. So we're going to go to the next point in the twenty-fifth floor room and look for pictures on the wall.” Layla mutters.
****
This is so bad. I am no longer strong if I am still told to continue my journey to the twenty-fifth floor. We were still on the twentieth floor, only five more floors we had to climb.
“Enough! I think we should rest first. Lookie! Layla has almost lost consciousness.” Nana pointed at Layla who was lying on the floor of the corridor. Breathing gasps. The clothes and pants he was wearing were drenched in sweat.
“Live five more floors!” Arthur insisted on continuing his journey.
“Ya already, if you want to continue please! We will rest here.” Nana slammed her back against the wall.
“If you guys are in a ghost don't cry, you know!” Arthur glanced, pulling the two ends of his lips down.
“Yee, it is precisely you who will be in gentayangin. You ‘kan alone.” I nyegir. Come leaning against the wall. Arthur looked at me, his face turning sour. Arthur exhaled an annoyed breath, cross-legged.
“End rest too, tuh! Wh why? Afraid of being kicked?” I tease.
“Idiih! Where there are the same fearing princes that are so.”
“Ya keep on taking a break? Capek?”
“Capek? I still have a lot of energy. I'm here take care of you. Later if I go on you guys why ‘kan I also bothered.” Arthur puffed out his chest. I turned my face away, holding back my laughter.
“No, because we didn't know it was going to be like this. The original plan was just to find Mery and the others. None of us predicted that this would happen, ‘kan?” Nana looked at Arthur. Arthur scratched his head.
“So we will walk to the twenty-fifth floor then the forty-fifth floor without eating and drinking? It was the same as torture.” Arthur shook his head.
“So you mean I'm a torturer?!” Nana stared hard. Arthur looked away, shrieking.
“For now we rest first while recovering energy. We have no food or drink. So, if you really want to get out of the shackles of this building you should be able to hold it. The choice is only two, stay here and starve to death or survive then get out of this place and stay alive.” Nana rubbed the sweat on her forehead.
“Then, I wait here and you guys are looking for the two remaining keywords. After that we come out together.” Arthur raised his right eyebrow.
“Before that I'll kill you first. Wouldn't that be better than starving to death? I'm being kind now.” Nana smile. Arthur turned his back, turned to us.
“Aah! Since I am a real man, I will accompany you. This place is very dangerous for girls, so I will protect you. I am a great prince, yes, a great and kind prince.” Arthur nodded his head.
I knew behind her nod she was trying to contain her fear. Fear of Nana, not monsters or anything like that. I remember Arthur saying that Nana looked scarier than the fleet when she took out her bad side.
‘Even I'm not sure one army of the war fleet can defeat him.’
Arthur whispered that phrase while he was in the eighth grade library. I closed my mouth, trying hard to hold back my laughter.
“From here we will split into two teams. Arthur with Lina and me with Layla.” Nana looked at us. Layla quickly shook her head.
“It's not a good idea. I have a bad feeling. It's better until we get out of this place we can't get separated.” Layla explained.
I'm nodding. “Layla is right, I agree with her. I know this is gonna be weird, but I'm worried about two creatures we met earlier suddenly living.” I shudder in horror.
“You think this is a fantasy world? The creature has not been fed for years. This town has been abandoned for a long time. It is impossible if they will live. But something stuck in my mind. If they were indeed experimental materials, the tube should no longer exist. I mean, think about it, a lot of buildings in this town are badly damaged and there's a lot of gunshots on the walls. Maybe there's been a war here. If it is like that, the two tubes should also be destroyed shot. Lookie! All the glass here has been broken. This must be the mark of a feud that might have occurred here. It was impossible if the two tubes were still intact without the slightest scratch. Even some walls in this building also have bullet marks.”
Arthur explained as his hand pointed to the place he was referring to.
I looked at Arthur's face. He's right too. It is unlikely that the two tubes would still be intact if the buildings here had a history of feuding. If for example this place is indeed no war, it should be at least two canisters must be dusty. The tubes were very clean, like they were just made.
“Despite everything I've said, I agree with Layla. Splitting up in an unknown place like this was an overestimated risk. Our goal has been determined, there is no point also if you have to divide the team.”
Nana nodded. “Alright! Since you guys don't approve of team-sharing, then we'll go together. Actually I myself do not agree with the division of the team like that, but just like Layla, I have my own instinct. My instincts say that we will be easily caught if together.”
“Caught? By what?” I scrunched my forehead.
Nana shakes. “I don't know either. Maybe your concern has a point. It is possible that the two tube creatures do not require intake such as food or drink. But in retrospect it is highly unlikely. So it could be that the green liquid that drowned them worked like an infusion. That fluid gets into their skin and provides adequate nutrition. It could have happened.”
I swallowed spit. If such a thing can happen and if such a thing happens, I don't know what else to do. Imagining the two creatures alone has made my hair goosebumps, especially if you have to face them directly.
“For now we will continue the journey. Get enough rest, we need to hurry. If they go back to the tent and don't find us there, they will definitely worry and look for us. Our situation is bad now. Don't let them find this place.” Nana stand.
“But isn't that good? If they find this place then open this door from the outside we can be free without having to solve silly puzzles like this.” Arthur gave me advice. Nana shakes.
“I feel there is something strange about this forest. If you think back, when we left the camp we just walked straight. We don't even think of taking the turn or split the group to make it easier. And most strangely, we have cell phones but why don't we use them to contact them? It's like someone's leading us to this place. I think they experienced it too. However, they were led to a different place.” Nana's eyes looked seriously.
“Are they okay?” Layla asked worriedly. Face paled.
“Let's just relax, they'll be fine. Liya was with them. He's very good at this. He's a person who can cope with situations out of control.”
“Nana's right. There is no point in worrying about them. More importantly now, how do we get out of this place as soon as possible?” I stroked Layla's back.
“Of course by solving that puzzle, right?” Arthur put a lip.
“Alright enough bases. Arthur! If you still want to be here I don't mind. As long as you promise not to whine like a baby who lost his toy.” Nana raised an eyebrow.
“Toys?” I tilt my head. Arthur immediately got up from his seat.
“OK, Okay! I'm coming!” Arthur's face turned sour.
