My eyes were closed, but I couldn't sleep. How am I supposed to sleep when Arthur sleeps in the same bed as me? Plus he's bare-chested. What exactly was Arthur thinking? Why would this idiot comfortably sleep like that? No, no, I should stop calling him an idiot or something. Arthur who is now different from what I knew before, maybe.
"Lina, why aren't you sleeping?" Arthur whispered in my ear, making me slow. I opened my eyes slowly, grasping Arthur's face right above my head.
"You'll be exhausted at practice tomorrow if you're still awake." Arthur wrapped his hands around my stomach, dragging my body closer. I could feel the warmth of his body as the skin of my arm touched Arthur's abdominal muscles. Is he really a person who likes sports?
Unknowingly my hand touched his stomach. I was drowning in wanting to touch her. I don't know what got into me, but right now I just don't want anyone else to have it.
Did I have this feeling before? I have never felt the same for anyone else. Arthur's crumpled scent softly greeted my nose. What perfume is she wearing? The money is so sweet.
"What's wrong?" Arthur changed position, moving his body above me. I was surprised by what he did. My breath was restrained as I looked at her face that was like it wanted to eat me. I threw my face away, staring at something else.
Right now my heart is beating fast. My mind drifted unnoticed. If it continues like this, I can go crazy.
"Lina, don't take your eyes off." Arthur's fingers pressed against my cheeks, changed the position of my head, made our faces meet again.
"Gear me! Do I still not deserve your warm gaze?" Arthur kisses slowly, leaving a red color at the base of the neck that is clearly visible.
"From now on, you are mine. I won't let anyone else take you away from me. I promise to protect you, Lina!" Arthur's whispering voice slid into my ear. I felt something strange. My body feels hot. I had difficulty holding the hand that I wanted to touch.
"Don't arrest. Touch any part you want. Tonight, we'll spend some time together."
The wind was rushing, entering through the windows. After saying that sentence, Arthur returned to lay his body on the mattress. Leaving me with a red face. Fucking shit! How could he casually say that?
I patted my cheeks hard, trying to get out of the daydream and go back to sleep. I could clearly hear Arthur's breathing. On the one hand I feel happy and on the other hand I feel frustrated.
\*\*\*\*
I don't know what time I can really fall asleep. Even while sleeping, Arthur still haunts me. I also stayed awake a few times. I was exhausted after almost a night of not sleeping.
"Hey, Lina!" I heard Arthur's voice. I wanted to respond, but I was too sleepy. I was unable to even move my eyebrows.
"Wake, baby. We're going to practice today." Arthur shook my body. But I still didn't respond. Just imagine, I just fell asleep a few hours ago but was woken up and told to practice. Just be right!
"Be careful!" Arthur took the arm in front of me, ready to catch my body if I fell. I waved at Arthur, telling him I could stand up.
I stared at Arthur from foot to head. He still hasn't worn his top shirt. Has he not been cold topless all night?
"Quick trim your hair. I'll wait outside." Arthur kissed me on the forehead, smiled, then turned around to leave the room. I was petrified, not moving for a few seconds. Why do I feel something is strange? We went through the night just sleeping together, right? But why is Arthur acting like we've done something special?
"Aarr!!!" I kicked the foot of the bed, ruffled my hair. I decided not to think about any more strange things and rushed to tidy up my hair. When I was ready, I went down the stairs with Arthur. The atmosphere of the inn felt lonely. What time is it until the inn is uninhabited?
The inn had no elevator, so we had to walk through the stairs if we wanted to move floors. The building has two basement floors. The first floor of the basement or B1 floor is located just below the first floor and the B2 floor is below it. Floor B1 is the floor where various artifacts are displayed and arranged neatly in wooden shelves. Our training ground is on the B2 floor.
The distance between one floor and another floor is quite far because the height of each floor is also higher than the floor buildings I often meet. The B2 floor was equipped with high technology, so this place was resistant at least to magic below the seventh level and strength equivalent to that.
I found Mery and Seli when we got to the training ground. I think this place will have a dark dominant color, it turns out I was wrong. The training ground is very bright. There are even some red and blue lights that illuminate this place.
"Lina, are you okay?" Mery ran up to me when she saw me coming down the stairs. Seli also ran behind him.
"As you can see!" I shrugged, smiled. Although they tried to return my smile, I knew that something was bothering them. I wanted to ask about it, but I paused and chose to ask something else.
"Where are the others? Why aren't they here when the inn is deserted?"
"Yamato took them to the B1 floor. Didn't you guys meet?" Seli looked at me in wonder. I quickly shook my head. We didn't see anyone at all as we passed the B1 floor. Although we did not check it thoroughly, but with a large number of people we should be able to know if there are people on the floor.
We decided to wait for Yamato and the others. While waiting for them, Arthur decided to practice his technique first. I, Mery, san Seli just kept watching Arthur train. He was the one who entered the room with the highest number. He should have had an amazing technique.
Arthur walked up to the small shelf in the corner of the room. The shelf was filled by some neatly folded clothes. I immediately realized that Arthur wanted to undress before practice.
"Arthur, ja—" I shut my mouth with my own hands. What the hell am I thinking? Why should I stop him if he wants to undress?
"Hmm.It turns out you don't want anyone else to see my body, huh?" Arthur smiled cunningly. Mery and Seli looked at me at the same time. Their eyes thirsty for an explanation.
"No, it's not what you think. Whatever it is!" I waved my hand while shaking my head. I turned to look at Arthur, hoping he would help me explain to them. Instead of explaining, Arthur turned around while waving at me. Arthur, you culas!
