Silent for a moment. Slowly I began to catch a faintly audible conversation. Like some people are fighting. Did I faint again? When I arrived I fainted. What exactly is the cause of this happening?
"Jawab or I will slit your throat!"
"I've told you the truth. I'm Lina's friend, Yama—Ah, I mean, Aryek!"
"You think we'll believe it? Obviously just this time we saw you!"
"No, this is not our first meeting. You guys also saw me when I was in the tube, right?"
"I remember! You said your name was Aryek, right? Isn't that the name of one of the strange creatures we met on the tenth floor?"
"Ah, I remember. The other one if it's not wrong is Arf-ak."
"Yes, right! Now you believe?"
"If it's true, isn't it dangerous? Maybe you can fool Lina, but don't expect you to do the same to us."
"No, it's not like that!"
I slowly opened my eyelids. My eyes were blurred, my head was also very painful.
"Lina!" Someone's voice calls me. With my blurred state of view, I vaguely saw someone walking over.
"Stop!" The other one stopped his steps.
"Don't you dare touch Lina!" That voice feels so familiar.
"Ar-thur?" I coughed softly. Arthur gently lifted my head, landing on his hard arm.
"Stupid, don't worry me all the time." Arthur clutched my body. Warm.
"You'd better leave immediately and never show yourself in front of us again."
I looked at the origin of the voice. As my vision began to improve, I caught a familiar body look. My eyes glared for a moment. Not believing in the person who is currently in our midst.
"Yamato's? Right, Yamato, right?" I tried to get up even though my body was in pain.
"Don't push yourself, you better rest." Arthur took care of my body.
As I forced myself to move, I felt my muscles become interested. My bones are crumbling too. Although I look fine at a glance, but this pain is incredible. I can barely hold it.
"Lina, sit cross-legged. I'll cure you." Yamato walked up to me. Although Layla had stopped, but she was not indifferent.
I positioned myself sitting cross-legged on the floor of the room. Yamato sat behind me, pouring energy into my body. I felt a considerable amount of energy flowing down the center, then spreading throughout the body.
A few minutes passed. Yamato was still unfinished struggling with the energy he was flowing through. I already feel much better. But he kept going. About twenty minutes later, Yamato was finally finished. I took a deep breath, exhaling it slowly. My body feels lighter than before.
Just as I wanted to thank you, I suddenly remembered the figure Yamato had met earlier. I was about to bet it, but Yamato's voice preceded me.
"I won't answer even if you beg." With a firm tone of voice, Yamato rejected my question raw. I haven't asked anything yet.
Layla and Nana stared intently at Yamato. It's only natural that they are like that. This time was the first time they met the original form of Aryek.
"Silence, calm! He's on our side." I was hard-earned to make a sound. Arthur supported me, helped me stand up. Yamato remained unmoved in his place. Naturally in that way, the energy he was flowing on my body was not small. He must have needed some time to recover.
"What happens after I pass out?!" I looked at Layla and Nana alternately. I don't know what happened after I passed out. I also wondered where the man who was Yamato's interlocutor had gone.
"Lina, isn't it you who should have explained us first?" Layla who had been looking at me worriedly, now her gaze was cold towards me. I shriveled, threw away my face.
They were silent, waiting for my answer. But I don't know where to start to explain it.
"He's an Aryek."
"If that we know too!"
"That's his real body."
"What do you mean the monster we saw was a costume?" Layla knitted her eyebrows. This conversation has become a burden to me. Recalling that nightmare and remembering the bad things I said to Yamato, it all kept spinning in my head.
"Lina?" Arthur's soft voice broke my daydream. I shook my head, patting my cheeks hard. I need to focus!
"It was his real body, at least before he turned into a monster." I smiled wryly. It's hard for me to explain to them. It would be best if they saw it for themselves so that they could judge what Yamato was like.
Silent. Layla and Nana were silent without responding to anything. Their expressions still looked very confused and thirsty for explanation. I understand their feelings. This is not a good time to reflect. All information is needed to survive.
Right now I should be able to make them believe that Yamato is on the same side as us. They had to trust each other in order to be able to give up their backs without hesitation. I know it! But give me time to explain. My mentally tired continued to receive attacks without rest. Not to mention my body that was always forced to move.
"You can't force him like that. Lina is a good girl, but she's also very fragile." A voice came from behind me. Yamato went on his own. He's done recuperating. Judging from his lethargic face, it seemed like he had yet to fully recover.
Yamato walked up to us. Seeing that, of course Layla and Nana prepared to put up the horses. I nodded slowly at them. Hinted to show a more friendly attitude. Had they known about the nightmare, they couldn't have behaved like this, right?
"I'll explain it, because I think explaining this would be too difficult for Lina. Even if I didn't know you'd believe it or not. Well, that's your decision. But I wish you could trust my words." Yamato smiled gently. Layla and Nana finally lower their guard on Yamato. Seeing that smile, Lina somehow felt strange.
Yamato narrated in detail and slowly used an easy-to-understand language. He looks like the leader in my eyes right now. It seemed like Yamato had the soul to become a leader. His charisma is very strong and distinctive. Even Layla and Nana were made stunned by him.
"So so. I-i understand. Then what does that have to do with the guy we met?" Layla holds her chin, a sign that she is thinking.
"He's that mad scientist." With a low tone of voice, Yamato's gaze looked bright.
I was shocked to hear Yamato's words. What did he just say? That guy is a mad scientist who shows up in a nightmare?
"No way!" My eyes widened.
"You have to tell me what happened when I fainted. No one can miss a bit!" I said with a roaring breath.
This is impossible, right?
