You are a smart woman

"I-i-"

Bruck

Rani's phone fell from Varest's grasp as the door opened and Rea's voice came from there, reflex Varest pulled his outstretched hand earlier and immediately stood up from his seat with a stiff smile as if he had just been caught doing something wrong, he said, while Andi who was still sitting could only straighten his body and feel the tension in the room until he saw the girl who was behind Rea and felt weak instantly.

"Well-wandened?"

Andi turned his gaze aside not wanting to show too much pleasure to see the girl he was chasing standing in the same room. Well, he was determined to go through with his plan with Varest earlier.

Varest stretched out his arms as he walked out of the crack of the sofa and the table intending to approach the wife who was still standing quietly at the door. "Darling, are you coming?"

Ah, what kind of question is that? I saw his wife there asking questions like that. Rea bit her lower lip to hear Varest's question, did this man forget their plan today?. Think Rea.

"Are you busy?" Rea asked the husband but his eyes looked at the girl sitting on the sofa with Andi.

Rea smiled faintly as he nodded as Rani waved at him accompanied by her wide smile, it was really disturbing to Rea as if something was suddenly forced out of her head, horns perhaps?.

"Not busy, really. We are just discussing the work. Not more." Varest's light pressed the last two words of his sentence.

He led Rea to sit on the sofa and followed by Andin trailing behind Rea, a little awkward for Andin to have to gather in one room with people who had a thick boss aura, and, he only wears a pink casual shirt with white jeans is very inversely proportional to the four people who are there with a dominant office suit.

"Sit, Ndin!" Rea pulled Andin's hand to sit next to her.

Andin obediently, slowly sitting his body on the sofa, his eyes occasionally glanced at the man wearing glasses beside Varest, who was looking at him, without him knowing that the man also glanced at him from behind his sunglasses. Ah, lucky for Andi today.

"Rea..!" The two couples sitting on the long sofa turned to the origin of the voice.

"I didn't get the name wrong, did I?" Rani asked to make sure, not intentionally but indeed she did not remember the name of the wife of Varest because when she met the first time she was still crowded because she was shocked by Varest's confession.

"Yes." Yeah." Answer Rea briefly.

"Ah, great. I think you've also asked about me to Varest." Right on target, and it makes Rea feel bad on his own.

"I was Varest's friend back in college, and could probably be your friend, too. I hope." Rani said seriously.

Rea could only smile awkwardly while nodding. "Yes, I asked a little about you to my husband. No problem, right?"

The girl in the red suit chuckled, "Sure, there's nothing to hide, we're just friends nothing special will never even exist"

Rea was stunned to hear Rani's reply which seemed to understand her thoughts. Is Rea too much to respond to the existence of a girl who is almost the same age as her husband?. The atmosphere suddenly muted without anyone intending to make a sound until the residence was broken by Andi who stood up while clearing his throat.

"My lunch break seems to be over." He looked at the watch in his hand. "I'm going back to the office, Rest." Get out of the couch and table.

"Ndi, can I come with you?" Unexpectedly, Rani stood up and held Andi's hand, making the tall man round his eyes from behind his sunglasses.

"Come, Ran!, I'll take you" Andi said before actually leaving the awkwardness of the girl who was sitting down next to Rea.

Andi's departure still leaves negative thoughts for the three people in the room, not just focusing on Andi or Rani but different thoughts on each head. Varest who thinks fear if the wife does not believe him, Rea with the mind whether it is wrong he judges Rani, and Andin who feels Andi's attitude to him changes.

No one thinks the same. However, it bothers them enough. So, by both opening their eyes many times they return to their respective consciousness.

"Mbak Rea, maybe it's better to go back to the cafe" Andin said as he stood up from his seat.

"Are you okay, Ndin?" Not answering, but the question was expressed by Rea when he saw the face of Andin who was lethargic suddenly.

"It's okay" Andin shook his head, wanting him to be honest that he was not used to the man's usually considerate attitude and ignored him earlier and asked Varest the cause of his attitude.

"Alright, careful!" Said Rea at last.

Now that Rea and Varest live after the departure of Andin, it seems Rea is still silent in place with the mind that still leads to Rani, he is worried if he is too vigilant and makes someone hurt because of his attitude.

Varest, who saw the wife's residence approaching and stroked Rea's stomach down there, brought his face close to the wife's stomach and whispered. "Papa's son, are you healthy in there?, please tell your mama not to think strangely. Looks like your mama's jealous, tell her papa loves her so much."

Rea smiled as she stroked Varest's thick mane, "Honey?"

"Hmm?" Varest looked up with his head still in front of Rea's stomach.

"Am I overreacting to Rani's whereabouts?" Ask Rea

Varest straightened his body looking straight at Rea's eyes and then cupped his wife's cheeks and a short peck of lips that teased the faith. "No exaggeration, you are a clever woman in putting attitudes, I like the way you show jealousy without blindness and deafness to hear explanations."

"I think Rani's a good person, maybe I can get her to be friends."

"But you still have to be careful. No matter how your husband ever met his target."

"Soooooo"

Varest blew up his laughter hearing Rea's whining which even looked funny. In his heart is so grateful to be able to get a wife like Rea, a woman full of charm with maturity and intelligence in attitude, elegance and of course tenderness that makes a Varest always lulled when with him.
