"You're so outrageous, Rest"

Emotionally looking at the sight before his eyes at this moment, the man felt unregarded by Varest after the happiness was re-perceived by the man he considered to be the sibling.

"What?" Varest asked casually, "It's not even 1x24 hours after it happened, but why are you like mothers who are emotional because they missed the discount?"

"Obviously I've been mad, for almost a month I've been the one you've been having the most trouble with, but now that Zee and Rea are back you don't even tell me." Andi still nags not accept

Varest laughed, not to forget his best friend, however Andi was the one who played the most part in restoring his happiness, all this time Andi who became the vanguard side by side with his parents when he was in a state of decline.

But, according to Varest the time is still so fast to declare that if he has got his wife and child back, there is still a lot of time after, after all Varest also understands the busyness of his best friend, Andi can only leave the office if it's lunch time.

"I haven't let you know on purpose, I'm just afraid it's too early to tell." Obviously Varest put his arm around andi's shoulder and invited her to sit down.

"The plan is to take you to dinner with Papa and Mama"

"Mama and Papa already know?"

"Of course, they came here this morning to meet Zee and Rea"

"Thank God, I'm happy"

"Tell me, what happened last night until Rea was ready to come back?" Ask Andi spirit, actually from the beginning he already knew if his efforts would succeed. But hearing firsthand the story from Varest he thought it was more interesting.

Varest quietly leaned his back against the back of the sofa, his head looking up like he was stringing words to start his beautiful story.

The Flashback

One sentence uttered by Rea suddenly made Varest's eyes round and his jaw tightened. Really he did not like the situation where the happiness he just felt was suddenly erased by the word "We just end this" coming out of Rea's mouth.

Her reddened eyes held back the raging in her chest cavity, all her might to not vent emotions in front of the person she had been waiting for her return for these few weeks.

"Don't joke, Re" said Varest at last, albeit in a soft voice. But underneath there his hands were clenched.

"I'm not kidding, Rest. This is also for the happiness of our son Zee" replied Rea, his eyes focused on looking at the facial features of the varest that appear fine feathers growing on his chin and carrying his nose.

"What do you mean by Zee's happiness?, do you think Zee will accept new people?"

"No, it's not that easy Re" Varest's index finger moved left and right in front of his face.

"I know Zee very well, although he's not my real son but I know him very well, I understand him" Lirih Varest looked desperate.

"Rest"

"No matter what time I can use for you to forgive me, but I beg you not to replace me from Zee's side." his hand clasped Rea's shoulders

"What do you mean, Rest" Rea frowned confusedly.

"I know, you've found a man you can accept as my replacement, but don't force Zee to choose him either"

Rea smiled in a knot in the middle of Varest's face that looked down, Ah, she remembered the video sent by Andi, which was sent by Andi, Varest mistakenly thought that at that time he met a man who would replace his position when it was Andi's best friend who only intended to help.

His right hand moved to grab Varest's hand still perched on his shoulder, and his left hand raised Varest's face to look at him.

"What are you thinking, huh?" Rea asked with a sweet smile imprinted on her tiny lips.

"Do you think I'm so quick to find a new Papa for Zee?, Rest, even though in the end I'm really following my anger to hate and abandon you, but abstinence makes me make easy choices with men when the word farewell is only limited to wishful thinking that will never be said from my mouth even from my own husband's mouth"

"W-What do you mean?"

Rea chuckled at the confused face mixed up on the profile of the husband.

"Nobody can replace you to be Papa Zee, you're the second but first for Zee, and that's absolutely unperturbed" he summarized both Varest cheeks

Varest was moved, his eyes glazed over without hesitation Varest grabbed Rea into his arms.

"There really isn't anything else, is there?" her tanya confirmed, her embrace getting tighter as she felt Rea's head move up and down.

Varest broke his embrace when he remembered the first sentence Rea said to make him filled with emotions and despair.

"So, what did you say ended it?"

"You're not pranking me, are you?" Varest suspiciously sees Rea's unusual smile

"Gosh, you're suspicious of your wife?" The woman pretended to be angry

"It's not that, it's just that," Pause Varest a few seconds, "I'm too scared" he continued to throw the wrong face

"Fear what?, I just want to end our own inner role, end our selfishness. For almost a month you became someone else by bothering Mama, Papa, and Andi. Likewise with me who is because of emotions and heartache to have to involve problems with people around me, I've hurt Zee" said Rea at the end of the sentence, her tears welled up in the tail of her eyes.

"I'm sorry, Re." Varest hugged Rea

"It's all my fault, I should have never hidden the facts from you, I should have been able to accept the consequences Zee would have left me when you knew the truth from the beginning, but I was too afraid of Re, I was too scared, I'm afraid that the people I love really leave me, I love you" Varest said at length.

"I love you Re, maybe even before I know the truth about you and Zee, I love you so much"

Rea was fixated with eyes that blinked a few times, he had already heard this man's confession despite being drunk, but why hearing directly like this even made his heart seem to have no readiness.

"I beg you, stay by my side" said Varest, to which Rea's nods and hugs returned

Flashback Off

"Wahh, it's very moving" Andi cried after hearing a long story multiplied by Varest.

"You should thank me for sending your video to Rea, otherwise last night you couldn't have embraced your family" he said he pointed to Rea and Zee who were in the garden behind the house

"You're my best brother, thank you, uh wait, what video did you send to Rea?" Varest is suspicious

Andi casually reached into his pants pocket and pulled out his phone, he opened the folder containing the video and searched for the video of his friend.

"You better go home, Ndi. It's past lunchtime in your office" Varest stood up and pulled you out of his house, his mood suddenly bad when he saw the video.

Video of him drunk and acting silly. Although annoyed with Andi but deep in his heart he was so grateful to his dear friend.

Having been kicked out by the host, Andi actually left with a satisfied smile.

"Thanks, Andi"
